I love the descriptions of the products as she goes through the store. Also, the food made at the kitchens in Asian markets are the best kept secret.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this. It taught me a lot and I felt like I was spending time with you. Any meal served in your home seems like a magical time!

I've saved this video and took screenshots for reference the next time we go to the store. Complete Southerner here but love to experience different cultures food's and try to replicate the dishes at home with my family. It was a bit intimidating going in to the Asian markets at first but after a few more trip's, it got easier. We like to walk up and down the isles to get very excited to recognize ingredients. Or even just buy something we've never had before to end up enjoying it immensely.
Ditto luckily my sister and niece share in it too!
This was very helpful, Vivian. I am proud to say I have almost all of the ingredients you showcased in my pantry and fridge already. I've learned so much from your channel. ❣
Thank you!!! You are ready everyday for Chinese cooking!
i love her line the - hello hello these onnnne is for youu ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😊😅
So happy you are here!
They so nice at the lil restaurant awwww 😭💖😭
welcome to Orlando area! one of my favorite Asian markets is New Golden Sparkling Market on Colonial Drive - they have a fantastic seafood department!
I haven't been paying close attention for a while and I was staring at this video like "Wow there's an I-Fresh I go to that looks the same but she doesn't live in my city. I didn't know it was a chain". I checked and realized she now lives in Florida so she may actually live close to me now 🙂
Ditto Im like crap shes been in Orlando for a year and i just found out a few months ago. I promise to not be a crazy person if i see her.
Just came across this channel a few days ago it quickly became one of my favorites. I love learning about Asian cuisines while also learning the real names of the different foods. Keep up the great work love you!
You should try making tanghulu it’s really easy to make and it doesn’t make much cooking
@@Nutriscu yeah I’ve heard about it before! It looks super delicious
Rice is life for the people who live in Asia (only some countries)
I can't eat without rice
I love that shop too!... The buckwheat noodles.. I use is the exact same one that I've been using for my daughter since she was two
The "hello hello" never gets old
I love your recipes, I’m new to Chinese cooking although I’ve always loved Asian food, specifically Chinese 😋
Great video! There is so much to buy some products in this Asian Market to cook authentic Chinese foods. I know that the wok is a must-have cooking tool in Chinese cuisine.
YESS thanks for coming today!
Thanks Viv! Appreciate all the info you share about different food products and ingredients!
You’re my friend now. Don’t forget me for the cookout! 😂
Everything is making my mouth water!
Hello hello! I absolutely LOVED this! Please do more like it! Thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to explain everything. I enjoyed you giving the great details and history on the products. I truly felt like you were one of my closest friends and we were out Asian grocery shopping; so much fun! Also, your lunch looked yummy and that chef was so nice to let you sit in the kitchen and get a behind the scenes look into some of the things they do and make. Just an EXCELLENT video! The best I've seen so far here on YT and I've been watching Asian video's for YEARS! Thank you so much again, it's really appreciated. Love you, your recipes, cooking, and even your "Circus", lol! Keep up the great work! Cheers! 😘🤗👲🏼🍜🇨🇳⛩️🐲😁
Went to meng’s when they were still a ghost kitchen inside a sushi place, I enjoyed it very much
I will have to add them to my list! 🐻❄️
I’ve been using Kikkomon for years! Thanks for explaining the Chinese soy sauces. I’m definitely going to pick up a bottle!
Loved the live! Great tips and good item suggestions 🎉 thank you for sharing that
Thank you for coming today
good video, thanks again for the video and tips!
you can grow green onion yourself either in water or in soil
The difference between Asian grocery store vs American grocery store is the boxes on the floor and the whole aisle is dedicated to noodles and 10 thousand types of soy sauces lol 😂
This was an awesome video!! You gave such great explanations!
Just discovered we live in the same area! ❤
Your cookbook is one of my favorites!! We live in an area where almost everyone is from China (but we are not), and everything I make with your book for dinners reminds my friends of home!!
I buy the exact ingredients you use at the massive Chinese grocery store by my house!
Very Cool shopping Trip, I’ve been going to and buying from my local Asia store for Years and I still learned a LOT! Thanks for the video Live Stream!😁👍
Thank you Bonnie for watching
I just bought your book!
When I watch your videos I feel comfortable and happy 🥳🎊♥️ I wish to see you always and wish you a happy life my best friend🫂🍡❤️🥰😍😘🍭🌸💖💕🧁. ❤️🥰🥰🍓
Thank you!
This was great! I have a really good asian (predominantly chinese) supermarket not far from me, but it's tricky to navigate between the brands and varieties sometimes. Unfortunately, due to Sweden's alcohol monopoly, cooking wine is next to impossible to find here, but it occasionally shows up on the shelves of the alcohol retailers. This video reminded me to check if it's store, so thank you for that as well!
Great video Vivian. I hope you told the cook that you are a celebrity, just in town because you're making a movie 😉 It's not a lie. You're making a movie for us 😂😂😂
Thanks for all the great tips. It's the one worldly possession my husband's great uncle left me when he passed away. His Chinese cookbook. He was ¼ Chinese. I'm the only one who was left any of his cooking stuff. Not even my husband was left anything. I really appreciate and love you ❤️
where I live most First Nations people prefer Chinese soy sauce
Awesome video, you taught me so much about different noodles, soy sauce, and pickles! 👍🥰
I haven't been and tried Meng's kitchen. I tried the place that used to be in that small location but I should go try Meng's.
Kai Kai BBQ! I miss their Crunchy Pork!!! 🐻❄️
I love the outfit, simple and cute. I have the same pants but they’re way too big on me :(
Feels like I had a wonderful (and fun) Saturday morning shopping trip with my Chinese cooking teacher. Thank you.
I buy the same brand dragon beard noodles! I was choosing noodles 🍜 and I thought I wonder which ones Cooking Bomb gets. I chose them, so lucky
I love going shopping with you & how you help us to learn the foods. I thought of you when we went to the new pan-Asian Mall in Eden Prairie Minnesota. Hope you are enjoying Florida
best youtube momma out there!!! my fave
Love the mini food vlog at the end! 🐻❄️
That was Fun!!
Excellent content 👌! Thanks for sharing your experience with us!!
Love this video, Viv! So informative! I need to go to my Asian market now too 😁
Ah that is my favorite store. Man I've been looking for those beans i must keep walking by them.
I’m going to need your book. Thx you’re great. And your ‘circus’

Please make some dish with that green pepper!
I love white and black pepper!
And that chili looked very nice to!
I need to try an Asian market!
Love this 👏❤
Very informative 👏 👌 👍
loved it! 💗
I live near so many Asian markets but never rlly knew the contents, my neighborhood is half latine (I’m latine) and half Asian, mostly East Asian.
I could practice for a million years and still never reach this lady's level of coolness
Trust me being a Chinese woman is hard and it take way too much skills to cook
This was so useful and I will probably be 10x better at cooking now
Now that I know this Is in Orlando, I'm going.
I was surprised! 🐻❄️
Long Springs my favourite lean
We have a huge asian market here called KP Market. I would like to learn more about sauces, vinegars, and wines.
I love going to iFresh, even though I’ve moved a little further away, I still like to go back for specific things.
"so are you gonna tell your parents I'm the best gold digger ever, or am I going to be keeping you in the freezer as a Japanese steak?"
I love green and white bittermelon
I ❤ Kikkoman perfect for making dango sauce.
Nishiki and Kokuho Rose are my favorite medium grain rice’s but what happened to the pink bag? Seems like all the large bags of Kokuho Rose are yellow now.
The yellow is normal Kokuho and the pink is the Rose. My local asian market usually sells both but recently I've only been able to find the Rose which is a bit more expensive I think.
Love you!! ❤️
You're a strong woman. I love you.
We shop I Fresh too!
When you going to do a meet and greet?! Thankyou for all you do!
i really enjoyed this video also those pants are so cute!!

Awesome channel, amazing cooking skills.
But your hair keeps dipping on your foods on all ur videos lol 😊😊
You're awesome
Do you have a fool proof hunan chicken recipe? With sauces? I love it but my partner won't eat it without sauce. Do you have any recommendations for online or shipt Asian products? The closest Asian market is 3.5 hrs one way.
我每次买米都会买泰国香米😂

if you try to just drink the cooking wine it tastes very salty, sour and pungent, I doubt anyone can actually drink it, unless they're really really desperate to get drunk
