- I was approached by the Paintgem company to do a video of their product. They kindly let me choose my own pictures and did not charge me for it. I am not making any money from them but I am happy to provide a link to their company because I was quite satisfied with the product. Only snafu was the wax drying up over time & transit. I quickly remedied that problem with a bit of home made savvy & smarts. I thoroughly enjoyed this project and recommend a person try this out at least once. If you order a large size picture and dislike using only one color at a time, I recommend asking for extra trays. I liked putting the gems on row by row and watching the colors blend. I WISH I had, had more trays! Seriously.

Yes it's the same thing I know. Haveee a goog friends. I have to stay a long time in my bed in.hospital for 30 day and moiI had to stay in my sterile room with the TV and a double-locked window and was not allowed to step into the hallway. I was in. Intensive care for my acute leukemia. So I watched and listened to you, my friend Rebecca. Every day, every minute sometimes I waited for your video. You kept me company while I was alone fighting this cancer and you gave me strength every time something happened to me.

diamond painting is so addictive. I like the looks of the square diamonds better than the round, although I find the round easier. lol I always go over mine with a rolling pin to sort of 'lock' everything in place and you'll hear them sort of 'click' together. I then apply a clear glossy mod podge over it to set it in place before framing. I started during them during the pandemic when everyone was holed up in their hidey-holes. lol it really provided me with hours and hours of busy work that was both relaxing and rewarding. this was so relaxing to watch.

I used to do this a lot as a kid! Though i must admit,the bigger the picture the more my shoulder blades started to hurt.(And i totally didnt spill the beads on the floor multipable times,yeah nope) i still enjoy it till this day and i hope you had fun with this one!

I have seen these! I’ve also heard them called diamond paintings. It looks like so much fun, but all those tiny gems would make me nervous. I’d be so afraid of dropping them all over the place. I prefer drawing and coloring. However, watching YOU do it is a completely different story. I adore this video for so many reasons. Watching this process is so soothing, even to someone who is hesitant to try it. But who knows. One day I may crack and give it a shot! I’d probably be struggling with that wax stuff too. Thanks as always for the relaxation and tingles!

For cheap on Amazon you can buy extra trays for holding the gems, I also like to use multiple colors at once and that's what I did.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction it's a weird thing wax, depends on the wax they're choosing to use and how long they've stored it for. Seems like it's a while old from where I'm seeing which, like you say is a bummer. Hopefully your next ho at it will be better with replacement wax 🥰♥️

Everytime you said Q I too was thinking of Star Trek character Q!! I absolutely love him ! John de Lancie does such an amazing job! He first appeared on Star Trek The Next Generation , then he was in 2 episodes (I think) of the following Star Trek Deep Space Nine ,and then he was on Star Trek Voyager, I absolutely looove him , such a fabulous role to play! He appeared again this year in the second season of Star Trek Picard.

Q was one of the most eccentric Star Trek characters, an omnipotent alien who 'd get bored of so much power and eternity and that's why he'd come to Enterprise and 'entertain himself' especially with Captain Picard. You should see at least the last Star Trek Picard episode, 'Farewell', when Q confesses Picard has always been his favorite . You'll see the most touching hug of the Star Trek universe - between a 'god' Q and a human being, Picard .

I remember the first time I saw his character on Star Trek. I was completely appalled. But then as time went on I started to get a real kick out of who he was as a character. I'm wondering if you would have set the container of wax in a dish of hot water for a second it may soften it up a bit? This is definitely ASMR for me. The crinkles of the paper and clicking of the little beads are so calming. I laughed when you said the little container looks like a burger😂I think it looks like a container of lip balm. Lol! I'm really enjoying this. This was such a different idea for us. You always have a great variety of videos. I love this one!!! And your nails are sooo pretty. Oh my goodness rebecca this is amazing for your first diamond painting my first one was a pikachu i bought it and when it came was overwhlmed with the diffrent yellows my ocd went nuts and i went into storage mode buying a tray of individuall tick tac containers to put each shade into with labels of each one i also bought a colour chart listing every colour so i can re order that colour again if needed also the wax i find dont last but blue tac is cheaper and lasts a lot longer i can email you piccys of the ones i done and the setup i have if you want some inspiration more than happy to help a fellow diamond painter

Hi Rebecca this video was so relaxing thank you! I always watch your videos before I go to sleep 😴 I have never tried diamond painting before but from what I’ve seen from other videos I think the wax was supposed to be hard like that and your supposed to press in into the wax so you have a big chunk in the tube/nozzle kinda like a cookie cutter or maybe yours is different idk but I hope this helps 😊

The wax actually has a thin plastic covering on top when it arrives! I thought mine was dried up but I just peeled the covering off :)
Well whatever the problem was, I shall not have it the next time. I got all new wax. 😀👍🏻 That would be funny if that was what the problem was! 😂

Did anyone suggest you use a colored pencil instead of the wax? It was the best tip I got when I started these, I never use the wax anymore. Very pretty, have fun! ♡

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction no, colored pencil. I use a white one but any color is fine. I don't sharpen it too sharp. When it runs down just sharpen a little again. It's great cause you don't have to keep "reloading" it. It's all I use now.

I absolutely adore your unspoken videos. I usually make sure the auto play button is turned off when I listen to your videos but apparently I forgot. I awoke to this video and I was so disappointed. Whispering grates on my nerves, as I have misophonia. I wish I could enjoy whispered videos, but I cannot and don’t understand why some asmr artists all think that whispering is the only way to speak on their videos. Saddens me greatly as I’m limited as to what I can listen to…

I am a HUGE crystal painting addict, just a little tip. You don’t need to keep dipping your pen into the wax every time you pick up a new gem lol 😉
You probably didn’t hear me when I said that the wax was dried up and it came that way in the package. Yes, I did need to keep dipping it in the wax. Next to nothing was getting on the pen when I would put it in there. Had I gotten a nice fresh pot of wax, then you would be right.
