- What a crazy big catalog! 800 pages! I wasn't sure I could get through it because I have a hard time staying at anything for that long. But I did it! I even turned it into a craft after I finished. But the best part of this thing was the methodical sounds of paper folding. Sleepy?! Oh so sleepy making. Editing was hard to do without falling asleep. Let me know if you like these longer videos. And tell me if you remember making these kinds of crafts.

Hello Rebecca....it's been quite some time since I visited you and your wonderful play list. I recently had a hip replacement and it's been a difficult recuperation. So I decided to look you up and see if your ASMR could help me out. And I have to say that this is the best day and night that I have had since my surgery. I have been super relaxed and very comfortable pain wise. Also, this has been my first day without crutches and it's a darned good feeling. The Dr. gave me pain meds and I didn't want to take them and that's where you came in. So I thank you so very much for all that you do and all that you will continue to do for your faithful followers. Have a wondetful evening.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction ..I am no light weight by any means and my Dr said nothing about losing weight before hand. I did lose 10 lbs before surgery and another 10 lbs since my surgery. And once I feel strong enough to start walking again I'm sure I can lose a few more lbs...lol Or so I'm hoping. I have weighed no more than 110 lbs up until I reached 55 yrs old. That's when I started falling apart and gaining weight. I am 5 ft tall and at my heaviest was 200 lbs so I looked like a beach ball. Once we get our health under control we can start living again and I am proof of that. Good Luck to you My Friend and here's hoping that once you have your surgery the rest will all fall into place. 💕😊

I personally wished to get into medical field..but couldn't fetch enough marks in my pre- med entrance exam to get into a govt med uni.. I had appeared for pre-engineering exam too..it went well.
At first I just hated to study this😂 but now willing to do something good in this field too😌😄

For some reason this video reminded me of being a kid and going through the Service Merchandise catalog around Christmastime. Not sure how many people even remember Service Merchandise anymore but it was big in the South in the 80s and early 90s when I was growing up.
I actually have one specific memory of going through one of those catalogs and looking for items for my Christmas list. I think I was seven years old at the time and I was diligently going page by page and writing down everything I wanted. I can't actually remember any specifics of what I picked out but the memory of laying on the floor in my grandmother's living room and looking through the catalog has stuck with me.
In the incredibly unlikely event that you run across a Service Merchandise catalog from the late 80s or early 90s, you should grab it and make a video with it. Would love to lay my eyes on one of those things again!

I can totally relate to that memory and that feeling! For me as a kid, it was Montgomery Wards Catalog and Sears. Those were the stores in Southern California. Did Service Merchandise have a storefront also?
Either way, I will keep an eye out for that catalog when I am in the Brights Antique store. They have incredibly large amount of old magazines and catalogs. Here’s hoping! 🤞🏻

As for SM, yes, they had storefronts but they were what were known as "catalog showrooms." If you look Service Merchandise up on Wikipedia you can read about their setup. It's interesting.
Since you mention Sears, I actually was watching a documentary the other day that talked about the company back in their very early days (like early 1900s) and they called Sears then "the Amazon of their time." I thought that was a really interesting description. Crazy how today the company is nearly out of business. I guess that's just the way it goes in retail, though.
You are so right. I mean, Kmart it is almost obsolete now. Who would’ve thought?
I remember service merchandise. They had a conveyor belt that brought out packages and I remember thinking that was the coolest thing 😂

This was an absolutely delicious way to spend my Friday morning. I am ao relaxed now so I think I'll take the day off and go to bingo. I have been very lucky since I started playing back in June and have won upwards to approximately $10,000.00 and the bonus is that we don't pay tax on our winnings no matter how much we win. It's the same with our Lottery Wins....no tax at all. As we always say..."Only In Canada". We are all so very truly Blessed. Oh my dear friend! I watched every second! I enjoyed your conversation so very much! I almost fell out of my chair when you started explaining your earnings because I feel mortified that someone would dare to criticise! Goodness me! I cannot get over the nerve of some people. Grrrrr! Anyhow...rant over! 😜 I loved this video so much! The papre sounds and repetativeness of folding and folding thos pages! How patient are you! However, even more so, I totally enjoyed listening to your "stories" 😊 I am so terribly sorry that I haven't been in touch lately. Life has been so crazy with recovering from Covid and now, because it is winter here, my knee/s are absolutely killing me! Truly. I have been suffering so much! Hopefully, prayerfully, I am only a month or so away from surgery but then I will have to deal with recovery. Yes, I am still losing weight! Thank you Lord! So far, I have lost around 50 kilos, which, I think is about 110 pounds. I have gone from a size 26/28 Australian (which I think is about a US 24), to a AU size 18/20 (about a US 16)...I think 🤔😜I still have around another 20 to 30 kilos to lose but aside from my knee issues, I am feeling wonderful! I feel incredibly humbled and blessed to have finally found a lifestyle of eating that actually works and one that I feel I will be able to sustain for the rest of my life. I am terribly sorry to hear that you are also experiencing knee problems. It is not fun! I have actually had worsening knee problems since I was in my teens. I hope and pray that you can prevent yours from becoming as severe as mine. I love your bike! I was admiring it in the video in which you took us on a ride along. I have so much to say😆 I miss chatting with you! It is challenging with the large time difference between us. When I am just waking up, you are just going to bed and vice versa. Life just gets so crazy busy and one day just rolls into the next! My mom used to get me and my two sisters each a Sears catalog when we were little and we would fold the pages over in a similar way then stand it up and it looks like a paper Christmas tree and it kept us busy and out her hair for bit lol

Love the outfit Rebecca! I agree, Jenn's channel is a really good one and very much underrated aside from Poisabloom's ASMR in my opinion. I used her folding tecniques a lot when i did my own foldings. Also what type of craft did you make with it ?

Rebecca, I noticed in your last few videos that you have asked people to keep scrolling if they don't like what you're doing. Are people making negative comments about your videos? I can't imagine why. Some people have nothing better to do than complain I guess. Anyway, I like your videos! And a lot of other folks clearly do too. 😊
You can’t believe some of the negative things people say. It doesn’t matter how much you warn or describe in the title or anywhere else. It can be quite discouraging. I delete most of them. One of the main reasons people don’t start a channel of their own is fear of criticism.

And yours for whispers and cool crafts. Angelo's Shoe Shine is also a pretty nifty channel. And if you like whispers there is also a lady who does a "Teaching You" series where she teaches Algebra, engineering and the like on her iPad. Are your requests still open? I'm not sure if it's the right time of year or if I'll have to wait for the holidays, but I am simply DYING for another country catalog video! (Or really any catalog). No one else does them. I love going through them and seeing all the nifty things they have even tho we can't buy it all (coz we would).
Requests are not open right now but I will be doing another catalog soon. Well, around fall. Unless I get another one sooner.
My request system is pretty informal. I take about 24 of them at a time. Then I shut her down. Whenever I’m done with those 24 requests (which could take over a year) I will open up again via a video announcement.
It's storming out, thunder, lightning, rain ... and I couldn't help but put this on full volume to drown it all out ... why you ask? Just because.
