- Finally got to go visit our local library. This video is a request fulfillment for a woman who put in her request over a year ago! I surely hope she gets to see this because it has been a long time waiting. The darn Coronavirus put a lot of things to a halt. Here we are finally. Making this video may have been the reason I got the virus myself! Wherever do germs lurk? But we can't stop living now, can we? We should not fear. But here it is. I am still alive and I love this video. I hope you will too.

I worked in a library until April when my contract ended, and I missed my job so much that I couldn't watch this video, it was to painful to even see a library, but today I got a call and I can start working in another library starting from next week! To me it's my dreamjob, next to being a writer. So now I was able to watch this after all and it's soooo soothing and relaxing! Thank you so much.

Omg. So many memories. I used to love the plastic covering on library books. I would sit all my animals and dolls like a classroom and hold the book like my teacher and read 😂 thank youuuu. This was amazing💛💛

I haven't been to a library in years! I miss the smell of library books, and I love their plastic covers. I used to go to the library every weekend with my mom when I was a kid. I'd check out two books and read them both over the weekend.
Also, I love the cozy mystery section. I'm an artist and illustrator, and I love the artwork on the covers!

I loved this so much! The library was one of my first triggers, my family would take us to the library once a week and I used to sit in the lounge area and soak up the sounds of people flipping pages and looking through their materials and the resulting tingles I would get. I sure miss our library is been closed here since March 2020 we can only do curbside pickup.😞

Thank you for checking it out Mario! I’m afraid I didn’t have too much to offer in the way of my thoughts outside of simple observation. I don’t know much about the murder/mystery section. I’m more into survival/travel type books and historical fiction.

If I was going to buy a book rather than take one out from the library, I would probably be a bit more thorough than this since I’m spending money. Thankfully, at the library you can just return it if you don’t like it, right? 😂🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
The Joanne Fluke books are fun. You may like them. They are a lighthearted read with bonus recipes.
I didn’t end up choosing that book. But it sure looked interesting Amy. I chose three books at the end of my video. I lean towards psychology. Not so much murder mystery. So I ended up with the book about OCD. I wanted to find out how a person becomes that way. I got that one from the teen section.

I read prologues! I don’t read many contemporary murder mysteries, but that bakery series sounds fun. I do like historical mysteries, though. Will Thomas’ Barker & Llewelyn series (set in Victorian England) is my favorite. Margaret Frazer also has a good medieval mystery series in which the main character is a cloistered nun.

I don’t read murder mysteries at all. This was a request for a subscriber who is a murder mystery author. But I figured I should check some books out while there. Just recently I ordered the book online called “the help”. The same as the movie.

The bakery series titles sounds like a hungry person going shopping lol...I did it. I murdered all those baked goods, and I regret nothing! 🤣

Yes! I did recover completely. I am definitely blessed. But if I hadn’t recovered completely I think I would still be blessed. Certainly if one does not recover completely it does not indicate that they are not blessed. The rain falls on the good and the evil. I think I would be miserable for the rest of my life in someways if I had never recovered my sense of taste. I love food! 😂😂😂

I love mystery/thrillers. Actually own a few that were shown. This video makes me miss working in the bookstore.
I will warn though about Catch Me by Lisa Gardner it does contain mention of pedophiles and sexual assault against minors. Its still a great read just don't want anyone who watches and maybe gets interested in reading it getting surprised.

That doesn’t sound like something I would be likely to do. I’m sorry. But I can certainly tell you briefly that I do all my editing with an application on my phone called Splice. I do everything with that.

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction Yeah, I can't say I do a lot of romantic fiction. Harry and Jeannie are going to have to have their magical first kiss with someone else.
But you really should give Agatha Christie a try at some point! I've read several of her books and seen several of the movie and TV adaptations as well. Murder on the Orient Express is of course her best known story but it's not where I would start when reading her. The first novel of hers I ever read was Cards on the Table and that's probably still the one I'd recommend to get started. It's a page-turner and, like all her books, it's also relatively short so you can zoom through it.
And just who is Harry and Jeannie? 😂😂😀

I looked it up and apparently Michael Chrichton died in 2003 from lung cancer. I don’t really keep up with all these authors lol.
Yeah. Someone told me that he died. I had no idea. I only really know his name because of the movies that were made from his books.
