I hope you realize that Lisa’s bangs are much thicker. Because of the extra weight they will lay down better. But who cares because your gorgeous!
They’re actually extensions. Nobody has that much hair in the front unless you’re bringing like a lot of the middle hair into the front

For my ice skating competitions my mom would put “dippity Doo” on them. Some type of styling gel from the local CVS. I called it shellac. They wouldn’t move. For DAYS! Didn’t matter how much I washed my hair it was not moving after that stuff.
I would think this work better on thicker bangs, because the hairs glue together then?
ok i had to say.. as a teen in the 80s.. we just called this "doing our hair" every damn day.. lol.. but picture the whole head frozen in place.. dippity do.. aqua net.. alll of it. we would get up 3 hurs ahead of school to sculpt it all. I had a college roommate whos bangs were sprayed so stiff .. up in the air.. that we could lay things on top

I was just about to say the same thing! Teens in the 80's had it all figured out. We knew how to get that hold.

May I recommend starting your braids more on the side of your head rather than at the top? It’ll give you a bit more control with your part. I think that if you leave them loose starting from the top it is fine but tying them back not so much
