As a hairstylist, the crunch sound it makes hurts me deeply. Our schossors are very sharp because when you cut with something dull it can create split ends to your hair.
It just sounds like a razor tbh im not sure it’s horrible for your hair, I’ve definitely seen worse -another hairdresser

the bangs turned out really cute! but the Japanese instructions on the cutter actually say to do a little sections at a time - that way you can do the ends longer if you’d like and get a more natural and controlled cut :) if anyone happens to buy this you can scan the QR code on the packaging to see a how to video

I thiiiiink you should be doing that on wet hair. Kinda sounds like a razor tugging on your strands which can lead to breakage/frizziness
Actually if you have curly hair its better to cut it dry so that you can see how long your hair will actually end up being, since a lot of curly hair tends to shrink after drying.

Only thing I dont understand is how would you get certain angles? Hair cutting is all about the angles. And usually I'll pull my bangs up and point cut a bit. Prob at a 45 degree angle. Because it creates volume and such. So how would this do that? I guess it's just mainly for length?
