Thanks for a great video. I just got my first Filofax (the Ochre Malden) on Friday and spent the weekend trying to organize it. I love the tabs you used for your classes section. My organizer will not be as hectic as yours (Whew!), but I'm definitely going to check into those tabs. Enjoy your time in school because you put in A LOT of hours at the big law firms. (I'm a legal secretary for a major NYC firm and I see how hard the associates work).
Thank you Brenda! My life is definitely hectic but it is enjoyable. I quit a management job to go back to school and I know that I have truly found what I want to do to fulfill my purpose in life. Working hard doesn't scare me; doing something I don't enjoy definitely does. From what I understand, the secretaries and clerks do all of the "actual" work. lol TFW!!!!

Hi Barb! Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I use the Sakura Gelly roll pens that can be purchased individually from Michael's. I have found this pen also doesn't work well on some paper (usually thicker paper). Overall, it works well and if you hold the pen vertically and write slowly, the ink tends to flow a little better. Hope that helps! TFW!!!

There are so many wonderful people out there in YT land and I am so glad I am able to share my ideas. I use tabs from FitJapanese (similar to Daiso). They are the perfect size to use over the alpha address tabs, which is what I did for my school section. TFW!!!!

Gosh I need to be able to put all the thoughts in my head and write them out like you do but I haven't figured out how..I wanna do something for 2015 but as of right now either I don't know where to write them or they are all over the place...thanks for sharing :D
I have had this same issue in the past. I simply find a piece of paper or journal and do a "brain dump" and write everything that I am thinking of down. Then I prioritize those items and then schedule them. When I have a big project, I break that down into smaller parts so it's more manageable. I hope that is helpful in some way. Hi Claudia! Right now I'm keeping my old pages in a Barnes and Nobles Punctuate planner. I've been thinking about how I will archive them after this is full. I will probably just bind them together with some baker's twine....b/c its fun and I have some that I have not used yet. lol I will do a video for you when I figure that out! TFW!!!!

Thank you so much! I ordered the thin kraft paper and the thicker paper from Amazon. The thin kraft paper is from a brand called Kikkerland and the thicker paper is from a company called C&L workshop. Type in "6 hole craft paper" and it should come up. TFW!!!

Thank you July! I use Moleskine grid paper from a three pack of cahiers that I purchased from Barnes and Nobles. I use pencil and a ruler to draw out my layouts. It takes some time to do initially, but one you have the general layout down, it goes faster when duplicating it. I love making my own inserts by hand. It seems to make it more personal and I appreciate using them more. TFW!!!! More videos to come!!!

FitJapanese in Houston, TX is where I purchased the colored tabs I adhered to the filofax address tabs. I believe you can get the same tabs at Daiso. I do not have a Daiso in my area, which is probably a good thing. :) Good luck in school! TFW!!!

I get most of my washi tape from Michael's and Target. I use a fine point sharpie and a white gel pen on my washi. :) TFW!
