3:12, That the same gate that my family and I depart Houston to Honolulu on United airlines, Boeing 777-200 last March and the flight is good and okay, 7 and a half hours.
United hasn't announced a retirement date yet for the 767, they will definitely be flying past 2023 since they just all got retrofitted with Premium Plus seats
Here in EU, airlines fly with really old planes and terrible cabins even in the newer ones. The US carriers have massive fleets and always with nice up to date cabins irrespective of the aircraft age.
@@DitsMerzthalBravo You seem to be misleaded. The EU Airlines have younger and more modern fleets than US carriers. Some US airlines use 35 year old aircrafts. No European Airline has such old planes in their fleet. I don't take care of the cabin-design. I don't want to fly in an 30+ year old B767 with new cabin design. I prefer an new aircraft with an much more decent interior.
Hello!! Listen there're a321 from Lufthansa that are 30 years old, Air France has 28 year old 777s, KLM has 737 that are more than 27 years old. Those planes are totally fine, they still operate efficiently and are maintained perfectly as that US fleets are. The problem I have with the EU carriers is that the "legacy" airlines have the same interior as 20 years ago, the single aisle fleets have the same seats as an ULCC such as ryanair, even domestic "business class" is just a common economy seat without extra legroom WHICH IS A JOKE, and even in their long haul fleets, such as the a330s from Swiss, they're equipped with IFE screens the size of a flip phone. Meanwhile in the US, even though they have massive fleet sizes, 4 or 5 times than the ones over here in Europe, they are always updated, their in-flight entertainment is top notch, they use jetbridges to board and deplane, the seats are comfy with adjustable headrests, business classes that actually look like a premium product and ETC ETC. My point is, EU carriers get away with delivering a mediocre at best product while charging the same as the american carriers.
United got some of the worst catering and thats beyond all 3 classes😅 thanks for the video. Im glad their 767s are aleast refurbished. You got to fly em before theyre a thing of the past
Nice vid. I’m not sure but I almost think they should compensate you in SOME way for only having vegetarian left at the end- maybe some extra miles or something . I do like their chicken dishes.
Had that meal been served to me, I would have put it on the floor or tried to return it to the flight attendant. I have been on too many international flights that served far superior meals to those US carriers offer. That was disgusting as that was "pig food." When UA bought Continental Airlines they destroyed the excellent food offerings they had and UA has done nothing to improve it. Even their so called Polaris food is bad! I suggest you try international carriers before taking a US one!

BRO SAME
The United Airlines crew for the IAH-LIM route is a mix of English/Spanish speakers.

The 787 brings efficiency to United to replace aging 767s not a direct replacement
Yes, I am flying with a United 767 in March 2024
United will replace the 767 until 2030, not 2023. Compared to most European Airlines US carrier have very old aircrafts 😮

Yes! I have a lot more coming up on all 3 airlines!

No bags to Peru? 👀
4:25
I have been thinking of planning a trip but when I saw that plump arm of your neighbour right near your meal - plopped on the arm rest I thought "no"!
how was the recline? What about the customer service.
Its hard to tell the age of the plane, it looks pretty modern!
i cleaned and supplied this plane
Did you sleep on the plane?
From 6:29 to 7:35 it was muted idk what happened there
United played copyrighted music during boarding so I had to mute the video to avoid a copyright strike

problem of sitting near the back
The guy snoring was a bit annoying 😂😂
