    I started attending a Catholic church in January after being protestant (mainly Methodist) my entire life, there is a lot to learn, but so much history. Totally worth it.

    It also drove me crazy not knowing if I was right or wrong 😂 pride is my folly plus an obsessive and addictive personality. Lord Jesus wants you to come as you are, He used my need to be right and said, “You can be right about Me. And you can be addicted to me.” Never turned back I love Him so much. Many blessings to you and your family, praying God grows your ministry my friend.

    I want to thank you sir for your video. I'm up in the years, and I lost a best friend of 16 years for me being Catholic.
    It's taken me a while to get over the loss. The Lord is so good that I was able to spend 3 days hanging out with my friend in my dreams!!!! Once a week, I would have a dream which would really help me cope with the loss.
    Just thinking of what your poor mom went through. 😢
    I appreciate that you are giving info on the different types of religions too. I am now being extra careful to stick with the Catholic Doctrine.
    I am listening to Called to More with Fr. Columba, Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with Fr. Michael O'Conner, Fr. Mark Goring. He also does Food for Life. I am doing Deliverance Prayers with Fr. Stephen Rosetti also.
    Thank you, and keep going. It's very helpful!👍
    God Bless you. 🙏

I havent joined officially yet but i plan on going to mass with my mom hopefully next weekend and staying after the mass to ask the priest about being confirmed and having my first Communion and so on (i was already baptized in the Church as a baby). Please pray for me 🙏

    Can you make a video on your thoughts on the Latin Mass or Novous ordo

    • @Hunteronix

      Latin mass is prettier but Vatican 2 happened for a reason. Trust the church. Mass is mass, regardless of how it’s celebrated.

    Have studied the eastern orthodox church? Because the early church fathers were both catholic and orthodox, hence the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church.

      I sure have. Currently studying deep into the Filioque. Not just the controversy, but the theology itself. It’s something I think the orthodox are in great error when it comes to the trinity

    i'm glad you found God. He is always present in the mass, as John chap. 6 guarantees.
    the difference between the Catholic Church and the rest is it was founded by Jesus Christ on Peter and the apostles. its authority preceded any holy tradition, and its authority preceded the bible. the bible is the book of the Catholic Church because the Holy Spirit inspired the bible for the church to accomplish its mission given by Jesus. we pray that we all live according to His example.
    "In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets."
    "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

    If your raised in a baptist environment specially in america. And not like Lutheran as me i wasnt raised in the faith i became a christian later in my life. Ofc you have these ideas about “protestantism” abit generalize the whole of protestantism as baptist ofc because most protestants in america are baptist. In europe its different mostly lutheran catholics in germany are struggling becayse if lgbtq roman churches the idea of this majesterium ect. Its over stated. sola scriptura isnt what the baptist believe it to be. Because they are generally misinformed about it. Specially baptist/nondenomination in america.

      @AverageCatholicConvert  Месяц назад +2

      @@mikaelrosing yeah, as I’ve grown and read more of the traditional reformers and Protestant theologians, I’ve noticed most Protestants nowadays don’t hold to the traditional definition of sola scriptura

    Congratulations and welcome home. Mary is God's masterpiece. If you had the opportunity to make your own mother, I am sure you would design a masterpiece. Mary is the one who knows the most about Jesus, just as your mother likely knows the most about you. If you want to know anything about Jesus, ask His mom. She is our spiritual mother.
    As a cradle Catholic, I would recommend researching Marian apparitions. The most important one is Fatima, Portugal in 1917 and the miracle of the sun. It is the only miracle in human history where the exact location, day and time were given in advance. At this appearance, Mary tells us to pray the Holy Rosary daily and have devotion to her Immaculate Heart - which means stop sinning. Mary loves us as no earthly mother ever could. You should also be wearing a scapular.
    The other ones which are very interesting because they foretell of problems in the Catholic Church: Our Lady of Good Success Quito, Ecuador in the 1600's, LaSalette in 1846, and Akita in 1970's. Also Lourdes in 1858 - Mary told Benadette that she was the Immaculate Conception. In 1830 Mary appeared to St. Catherine Laboure at Rue de Bac in Paris and gave her the miraculous medal. Many who wore the medal received spiritual gifts an or healing. At some point in the future Mary will be proclaimed Queen of the Universe (this makes sense because her son is King of the Universe and since her Son is a King, she must be a Queen), confirming the prediction by St. Louis de Montfort that this would happen.
    Do not let it bother you that many of the clergy are crucifying the Church, His Mystical body. The leaders of His religion crucified His physical body when He was alive. This is called typology - something that foreshadows something greater in the future, just as manna foreshadows the Eucharist. Pray for the conversion of the world. Imagine being God and seeing that only about 20% of them are Catholic. We have a lot of work to do to bring our brothers and sisters home, but we have nothing to worry about since we know God is in control.
    St. Louis de Montfort can help bring you closer to Mary and Jesus. Upon the recommendation of a nun at our Church, I recently purchase a copy of his book the "Letter to Friends of the Cross". It is only $5 on Amazon. "The salvation of the world began through Mary," St. Louis de Montfort.

    I hope you will understand that Jesus is the only Mediator between God and man. Mary is asleep in death, like every other believer who has died, resting in peace until the resurrection. That's what the Bible teaches, and the word of God is above all human traditions.

    • @AverageCatholicConvert
      @AverageCatholicConvert  3 дня назад

      @@biblehistoryscience3530 soul sleep L, and yes Jesus is the only mediator. Just because you ask a saint who is alive in heaven doesn’t mean they are mediating in the way Christ did for our salvation.
