I love your cardigan. It turned out very well. Just a suggestion for your short top water bottle cover - if you’re really unhappy with it. Where it is boucle, you could pick up the stitches and knit a couple more rows and cast off or you could likely even just crochet around the top and doubtful it would be noticeable. You may be more happy with it then. But, I’m sure it will serve the same purpose as is. So glad you are feeling better. Also love the idea of the tiny sweater with the wool for your hubby’s gift. Very sweet idea.

Hi Marlene! So nice catching with you 🥰. You are absolutely right with the carded batt of wool you bought at Barcelona knits. I had it in my hands and didn't buy it because it needed more carding. You can work with the 'lumps' like if they are NEPS, that will give character to your finished yarn, or you can be very patient and pick them out as you spin! Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be a great learning curve :) Keep it up!

hi karyn, thanks for sharing that with me! I’m choosing to work with them and see how it’ll turn out after plying 😊 it’ll be far from perfect but a special yarn nonetheless! 🧡

I love the warm earthy color palette of the ornaments on your Christmas tree! And the green yarn for your OLE hat is gorgeous. I also just knitted an OLE hat (first time trying half brioche/ half fisherman's rib for me) and it's SO SQUISHY - hope you enjoy your hat as well!

Another lovely episode Marlene. I hope you are feeling g better. If I may just suggest for the water bottle cover with a short neck edge I think you could just pick up the bind off stitches and knit a bit more to make it longer. Because it’s voice I really don’t think you would notice. I hope you are having a lovely Christmas season 🎅🏼🎄💖

Crochet around the top of the hot water bottle cover. It will hardly be noticeable.

I need to swatch again for the travelers cardigan. That will be my next garment knit and my second garment knit ever! Hi from Maryland USA! I'm the gal who messaged you about boxing day on IG. Love listening to you. Til next time! 👋🏾
P.s. how did you knit in a dark cinema theater?!

Also I love half Fishermen's rib. I love the look and I love knitting. It's just a pain to fix it I drop a stitch or make some other mistake. I haven't figured that part out.

I knit without looking whenever it’s easy stockinette so that’s how I manage to knit at the cinema ;)
thank you so much for watching and your comment! ☺️ best wishes to maryland!
