    I like your reviews....Auxito sent me a pair of these to test. What Id love to see on your channel is off-center lux measuements in your reviews. Basically, comparing hotspots from stock to the leds. I worry that some try to 'cheat' the output intensity by hotspotting their bulbs. Thanks for the review!

      About lights nearing or exceeding the “30,000 lumen realm: The problem with light this bright is that in some applications it creates a noticeable hotspot that “washes out” the areas lit outside of this hotspot. I have learned there is such a thing as too much light on the road.

    Just purchased a set of the Y19’s from auxito and installed in my ram with projector style headlights and was disappointed to say the least when they came in and the base ring is NOT adjustable. The screw in it only holds the ring to the light bulb in 1 location. I have the Y13’s too and I compared the rings to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and yea it was not adjustable. It mounts in the headlight housing at 12&6 o’clock instead of 3&9 o’clock like you are supposed to install LEDs, so big disappointment there. Installed them in my high beam spot and they are super bright tho, so I guess it all worked out. Thanks for the great comparison video btw!

    I started with Auxito too back about 4years ago or so. I got them when the M3 version. That was my first set and I still have them and they’ve made several trips to Louisiana from Maine and are reliable beyond belief. I have the Q16 H11 in my wife’s car that I just switched out of mine for the new Hikari Titanova set and had the Fahren Termitor 30,000 lumen but found the Hikari to be brighter imo but I’m interested in your tests once you test that new all in one Fahren Termitor 30k lumen model for your reviews and post a spreadsheet etc. love the spreadsheets btw. Keep up the great reviews, I just wish I’d have found your channel sooner because I’d have bought Hikari or Diamond Vision first lol. I also ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you let the data speak for itself, because data doesn’t lie, but my phone and where I am in the world, what moon I had, etc etc etc all goes into account on how the lights look if not done under the exact same conditions every time like you do. If these Hikari do decent on my trip I’ll probably buy another set or try the F9 Diamond that he put in another video as well or even the Novsight that he did the review on yesterday. Sorry dude but 30,000 lumens is a complete lie.
      That’s on led light bar territory.
      If the led bulb makes 30W per bulb, it’s 3000 lumens per bulb, if it’s 25W per bulb, it’s 2500 lumens per bulb, if it’s 45W per bulb or 90W per pair, it’s 4500 lumens per bulb or 9000 lumens per pair.
      Keep that in mind.
      Those high lumens is impossible to make for a led bulbs.

I think the slim plate design eliminates the shadow problem other LED bulbs suffer from. The Y19s aren’t much better in this regard to shadow. Great video, and I purchased my first this Leds Y19. Are you still suppose to put the dust boot/cover over the LEDs ? Wouldn’t this cause the fan just circulate the hot air inside the headlight housing instead of cooling it without the dust cover? What’s your recommendation?

    • @CarLightReviews
      @CarLightReviews  Год назад

      Common question, and a good one. Lots of vehicles have dust covers now, and make no mistake, it is NOT a good idea to go without them (just in case someone told you it was OK). But here's something for you to think about... Check out this video: ruclips.net/user/shortsH8VP762ApdA
      See how hot a halogen light gets? Yikes! MUCH hotter than the main unit and the driver of any LED replacement...put together. Ask yourself where the heat from your halogen light goes? 😁
      You should absolutely keep the dust cover on. It prevents junk from getting inside the headlight capsule.

Against a wall in high beam mode, the light is strong where the low beam projector cut off would be however anything above the cut off quickly falls off to roughly 50 percent of the light is protected in the high beam area. Real life application confirms terrible high beam mode. HID bulbs is better and fills all areas but I really don't like HID bulbs anymore.

    Hello. Awesome channel. Maybe a dumb question but what’s the difference in the built in or wired driver?

    • @CarLightReviews
      @CarLightReviews  Год назад

      Not a dumb question but a common one. The driver regulates the power output by the vehicle to the LED emitter. As such, it can get warm as it works. LED manufacturers design the lights to have the driver as external (more materials = more expensive) or internal ("all-in-one" design, and less materials = cheaper). The tradeoff is that heat reduces LED output and can potentially also reduce longevity. As a result, an internal driver LED headlight is typically not as bright and may not last as long due to the contained heat compared to one with an external driver.

I'm learning now it's either because I bought crap, or I didn't have them indexed correctly. When buying any light, how can you tell if the bulb should be mounted vertically or horizontally? Look up his first video he uploaded. He covers all the Auxito led bulbs, including M3.

    Can you review the Cofute 130w 28000LM LED headlight bulb?

    Buyer beware! Auxito bulbs generally do not last. I have gone through four headlight bulbs in 16 months including ones replaced under warranty. I have a 2014 Honda Accord and they now tell me it seems the bulbs are not suitable for my car. Beautiful lights when they work. Disappointing!!

      Thanks for the info. I have been using the same Auxito Y13s on one of my vehicles for over 3 years and they are still going strong. Have you tried other brands of LED lights? There are cases where some makes and models just do not like LED headlight upgrades which results in results like yours.
