Damn, quite a close fight that was. Despite the odds being against him, Kai fought on till the end. I also liked how in this episode they cut to the chase and made the entire episode of them fighting in this match, keeping me engaged throughout to see what will happen next.

This is one of the best cardfights in the reboot. Seeing the units go in and the players sharing their insight is the most fascinating thing when showing a card game being played. It's more than "Woah, he had 1 damage and now he has 2". These are actual thoughts going through the minds of expert cardfighters while playing Vanguard.
