I hit Puberty properly at 13. My voice started to break, and was pretty much done by 15, but I didn't grow much till 16, then steadily went from 5'6 (169cm) to 5'10 (178cm) over the next 5 years. Almost 23 now and pretty sure im staying at 5'10
Same. Didn’t grow much after 16 and I was 5’5”, and then I suddenly grew at the age of 19 in a span of like 3 months I guess( I don’t remember accurately) from 5’5” to 5’10”. I’m a strong 5’10” now.

Also, sleep and animal protein are the 2 most important things to get everything out of your genetics during puberty. I heavily neglected both of those so I could’ve been 6’4 or 6’5 potentially😕.

@shreygaming4551 I am in a family of giants 😅 crazy part is we aren't skinny either, my dad was a strong man and weighed upwards of 375lbs, I myself am around 250lbs, and both my brothers float around 400lbs, also weirdly enough, other than my 7ft+ brother, I have the biggest feet and hands of the family, Even though I'm 6'5" I still wear size 19 shoes, and dont get me started in trying to find gloves or rings.
I've gone back for both my families history and there's two things I'm certain of, my mother side is all vikings, and my dad has a genetic defect, cause he's Hispanic and his dad wasn't even 5'4", his family average was 5'7" but he was still popped out at 6'0", pretty sure it was passed down to my brothers as it's hard to belive we all got this tall without it. Scared for the next generation of my family, we might have some records broken but being 6'5" can be a pain in the back and knees (doesn't help that my wife's 4'11" and that I was a semi professional cage fighter)

While I am 5'4 right now I am 14, I'll turn 15 next month and i weight about 45 kg. Most weight is from muscles. I do abt 500-600 push up everyday for 5/7 days and 500 sit ups 5/7 days and probably 100 handstand push ups 2/7 or 3/7 days. And I do many exercises but Idk there names
I was a late bloomer and the smallest kid in the class at 14 with 5'4, now I am 21 at 6'3 and many people don't recognize me from before, because of that increase in height. What is also interesting, people told me I was taller when I lost weight and started working out, and it was actually true that losing about 30 pounds gained me an inch more height.
I was on the “taller” side in middle school with a mustache and full body hair. Now I’m a short man. 😂

I was on the taller side of things throughout middle school and high school, being like taller than 90% of the class and now I'm 6'0, one of the tallest in the class.

I was always the tallest kid in my class right till the end of high-school. Im 6 foot 7 now. No sudden growth spurts, just steady growth till i was 19 or so.

6 feet 1 inch is good height. above 6 feet 2 inches, you started to lose advantage of being tall. so 6 feet 1 inch is 100 times more ideal than 6 feet 4 inches. In medical terms, 6 feet 4 inches is not healthy height, not optimal, because medical issues start to arise once you cross 6 feet 4 inches. so optimal height is 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 2 inches.

@@do.2808 it is not too terrible. It is just not advantegeous and many problems started like shorter lifespan, or chances of other tallness related health issues increases once someone cross 6'2. NBA players has shorter lifespan than average. Please google it. Optimal human height is 5'7 to 6'2. I said people who think being too tall is advantegous, they are wrong literally. Being 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet is 100 times more healthy than being 6 feet 5 inches or above.

fun fact: you can hit puberty 2 times and your height can increase 2 times if you have hit your first puberty at 11,12,13 and hit your second height at 15,16,17,18. and there are few cases where people have grow till they were 21 years old
I hit puberty just before I was 10 and everyone thought I was a freak, saying my deep voice was fake and I was just after attention, even some teachers didn’t believe me until my mother had to explain to them it was puberty. Had a hairy chest by 14 and got stared at by other guys especially when in the changing room at school.. really made me feel uneasy! Everyone assumed I would most definitely hit a growth spurt but in the end my final height reached just 5 ft 6 at around 15 years old. I’ll be completely honest it’s caused me to have insecurities for years thinking I did something wrong or maybe I didn’t eat enough as a teenager. I started working out at the gym two years ago and slowly getting my confidence back. I think finding hobbies and going out of my comfort zones and socialising with more people and just dressing well has had a big impact on my overall confidence.

I felt this. I was more or less the same height from the 3rd grade until sophomore year. 4’11-5’1”. I was the bigger kid in elementary school then everyone else grew and I didn’t. I grew taller and stronger starting summer of my junior year and finished in summer after senior year. I’m 6’5” and I dunno how I’m genetically related to my parents and sibling. Dad is 5’8” mom is 5’6” and sister is 5’3”. My late mother’s father was 6’2” so that a possibility of where my height comes from. Not everything is fun where you’re this tall tho. I’m a size 13 and all of my clothes are to loose because I need xl or 2xl everything because of the height.

genectics are about 60 - 80 % of height potenial but 20 are enviromental factors like slepping playing high cardio sports and eating enough nutrients.When you get kids always make sure they have all of the 20% so that they can exede you and maybe grow to 6,2 and if lucky enough 6,3

I have a somewhat of a good build, but I am a bit concerned about height. Late fourth grade my voice went deeper, nono spot started growing, and the Pediatrician said i’ll be 6’1 when i visited him in 6th Grade. But i haven’t grown from 5’4 since, i am in Junior year of highschool and still 5’4. My pediatrician looked at the growth chart again a couple months ago and said i was done growing, so he went from, (you’ll be 6’1-you’re done growing at 5’4). I’m just hoping i have another spurt of growth, even to 5’9. My Dad is 5’4, Mom is 5’1, Grandma is 4’7 or around there, and my Grandpa was 5’11.

I was always the shortest in all my classes. From 9th to 11th(the start of it) I was shorter than half the girls. I started my growth spurt at 16.5. I went from 4’8(maybe more)to 5’4 in a year. The growth has slowed down. I hope to be 5’7 but I’m not too hopeful. My mother is 4’10 and my dad is 5’10. Strangely my height didn’t significantly affect my strength.

I don’t think this is exactly true, everybody is different, my uncle stopped growing in 8th grade at 6’ 1. Doctors say that people release their growth hormones at different times in the puberty stages, at the beginning, the middle, and the end. In some rare cases people still grow in adult years.
I also hit puberty too a few months after i turned 13, and I was like 5'2 at the time, and now im at 5'10.5 at age 16, going through my first growth spurt ever, and also had tall uncles and a great great grandfather, do you think it's possible for me to be around 6'2 or 6'4?
@@xboogiex1239 if your parents or at least one is above average you can make it. If your uncle are like 6’ 5 you are gonna be good good. My cousin is 6’ 9 and my grandpa is 6’ 6. As long as your family is tall, you have a good chance.

bro I advise you to ask your parents to consult a doctor. Just to make sure it's going well. because if you entered puberty too early this will prevent you from reaching your maximum height potential. Trust me, I went through puberty when I was 10, now I'm 16 and I'm 5'5. If you don't do something now you risk feeling regret later

I grew from 15 until 19, then from 23 until 26 for like a cm. But im not tall so i dont know. I think tall people grow suddenly and shorter people grow in longer periods because you dont see a very tall guy when he is short

True, I hit puberty at 11. Had a pretty rapid hormonal growth spirt despite being so small compared to everyone else. In elementary on picture day we had to line up tallest to shortest and with me and the other 2 kids it was like a contest every year between us because no one wants to be last lol. I was 3rd to last!! and then went down to 2nd to last in 6th grade. I grew to be 4’11” by 13 years old. By the time I was 16-17 I went to the doctors for some reason and my doctor literally did a double take on my charts and was like “oh sweetie you haven’t grown in height for 3 years, looks like you’re not gonna grow anymore!” i don’t know why she had this poor baby attitude about it while I just thought it was funny.😂Im 22 years old now and she was right, im still 4’11”! 😂

Also forgetting that height is also influenced by environment not just puberty lol. If you grow up eating bs and not active you're probably leaving some height on the table. More for the parents than anything

When you enter puberty doesn't really matter all that much. It's your where your starting height is when you enter puberty. If a 13 year old starts puberty at 5'8, they're probably gonna be taller than a 15 year old who starts puberty at 5'3
I'm still going through puberty and im 15 rn. I started puberty at 14. My dad is 5'10 and my mom is 5'6. I think I'm also just now starting my growh spurt too because I was only 5'1 in June. Now I'm 5'3 1/2. My dad's side is short but my mom's side is tall.
My dad is 6'2 and my mom is 5'3 I grew four inches and I think I will prob stop growing by next year or by 15 any of the two.On my dad's side, everyone is medium to extreme short.My mom's side everyone is also medium to short.By that I mean the males are like 5'11-5'7.The females are 5'5-5'0.I don't know if I will be tall or short😢😢😢
@@Maresa145 My dad's side has males usually between 5'7 - 6'1. Males on my mom's side are 5'10 - 6'1++. I'm now about 5'4 or 5'5 and turn 16 soon. Which usually male are done growing between 16-18. I'm hoping to at least reach 5'7.

My Son was always on the short side as a little kid, and he entered puberty really early at 12. On the contrary, He has also grown significantly during the past 2 years, and now He is taller than average and still growing; he is way over puberty now at 14+. I don't think what He is saying is accurate because we also need to look at the genes and the child's race as they determine the age of puberty. My Son is half Iranian and half Hungarian, and boy in Iran tend to be early with maturing I belive it is just in their DNA. Thoughts on this? Also, some Boy just grow significantly when they are 16, and they had their puberty early years before.
