      Actually at the "Military Tribunal" or the "Maritime Court" comment, a Judge (or DA) should read them the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution which Does Give States The Constitutional Right To Pass Laws!!!
      The give these SovIdiots a warning and if necessary at least a week in Jail for Contempt of Court! Do it fast and make sure it (the video) gets out, so "fellow travelers" get the message that this "Bull Scat" doesn't work!!

      If the idiot fooling with the camera was some random person, the judge has absolutely no excuse for not at least throwing them out. If the idiot was just a technician making sure that the proceedings were being streamed live according to that jurisdiction's policy, then the judge was fine with telling the tech that if he was unable to do his work without causing disruption, he'd be removed for the duration of the proceedings as the courtroom is still physically accessible to the public.

      Flat earthers are not breaking the law by believing in a flat earth. SovCits break the law, and actually invite interactions with the police and legal system e.g. by driving around with their fake plates. By sticking to the SovCit script they are guaranteed a negative outcome. They take that negative outcome as proof they are being victimised, reinforcing and justifying their beliefs.

    Self-representation generally includes the stipulation that the defendant will be held to the same standards of following court rules as would a licensed attorney. If they can't do that, then either revoke their status as self-represented or else toss them in the jail for contempt the second they step out of line. The court is not allowed to teach them the law.

      Because some defendants will reach for anything in order to appeal. If it can be established that a judge did not clearly and patiently explain the process and so on, then some bleeding heart appeal judge will act on that.

    It drives me crazy when judges give any energy to this nonsense. No matter what judge tells the defendant, it will not illicit any sort of rational discussion. Instead of citing random, irrelevant case law, why not research how many sovereign citizens are successful in court with this BS. Court resources are minimal in a lot of areas, send this defendant a bill for the taxpayer’ time & money he wasted.

    You know what does fall under the US Constitution? The 10th Amendment, allowing states the right to retain sovereignty and independence. Essentially, the judges jurisdiction is protected by the US Constitution since the states are protected to self-govern. Unfortunately, Sovcits will happily ignore inconvenient Amendments.
