I downloaded the app. I am aware of how it works just thought I could plug it in and hit the button for all my photos to transfer onto it and nope it stopped after 5 photos actually in the middle of the 5th photo. So far I am NOT IMPRESSED! It was really expensive and really stupid to have to download an app to use it I should have known better. I will find something that works better. Thanks

My other videos cant transfer what should i do. I tried to transfer it 1 by 1 but doesnt play when transferred .

How do you move photos to folders that I've created on the usb drive?
First, Copy it and paste it there.
Second, after pasting it at a random place. Move it to your preferred folder.
Any videos or pictures I transfer just show up on the flash drive as blank thumbnails. It was working fine the last few days but now anything I transfer just shows up blank

Yes. Create a folder or folders first. Then move the pictures to where you want them to be stored.

I bought it, it was working and after sometimes it stop connecting to my phone, I have to get another one which I’m using now. I don’t know how to repair it or make it work because whenever I plug it to my phone it always says connecting and it won’t connect

Hey, I have this OTG flashdrive and it works well however, can you help me how to safely removed this device from my phone?. I have tried removing it abruptly and inserting it again and it prompts that the device needs to be formatted lol. I am really having a hard time how to remove it safely from the phone.
I don't think there is any eject option for this particular Y Disk on iPhone. Only on MacBook, Android and PC.
So far, there is no active transfer or copying of documents and files, you can yank it out when you are done.
@@BracketReviews Thanks. I figured it out now. You can remove the OTG device right away as soon as you close the Y Disk app. Don't remove it while you are still running or using the app or else every files will be corrupted.

Are you copying it manually or backup route?
I will suggest you copy them manually in small batches like 50 at a go or 100. That will be better.

Select and copy individually. It works with bulk if they are mostly pictures. But It stops when you try moving mostly videos in bulk or large size files.

Probably you copied them as well by error. Check well...
Hi. I hope you can help me. I have a problem in my otg. Downloaded the ydisk app already but when i try to transfer the pictures from internal to usb. It will not transfer individually. It just gonna say that its pricessing and then when you check it in the usb its not there. 😥

Insert same USB to a MacBook and format it. Then, use it with your iphone and see if it will work.

The USB is using FAT32 format

If it is new and you have a MacBook, format the USB and try again.
Check your iphone USB port.

I transferred 500 photos but when i inserted again the usb . Please plugged the usb? 😔
Transfer in a bit... Like 100 at a go. Then, close the USB flash drive app when you are done and unplug.
Reinsert to see your saved files. If it shows an "error or not inserted" message, unplug and flip over the USB. Then, plug again.
This should work...
