How we can charge car
If you have spare servos, a cheap esc and receiver laying around, this 'cheap' 1/18 scale rockcrawler really can shine!
I've upgraded mine with a cheap HobbyKing brushed esc, a compact 2s 1200 mah lipo meant for electric planes, a proper standard servo and a specktrum receiver. This thing now has some serious crawling power and is variable speed. I'm now able to CRAWL up rocks and other objects very slowly. This thing now has some real torque and control!
Disassembly is SUPER easy, everything is screwed together from the factory, so you shouldn't have to cut or destroy anything on the body or chassis to take it apart. You will need to remove the esc/receiver board and the servo on the front, but it's very simple to do.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using a 7.4v lipo battery, you must set the throttle trim or max throttle to ~50% so you don't burn out the motors. They MAY be able to handle 7.4v for a short while, but I believe the 2 motors will probably overheat and wear out fast as they are rated for 3.8v I believe. Also, you CAN use the factory servo horn, but you will probably need to enlarge the hole to fit it on a standard size servo...again, not at all difficult. These upgrades took me about 1.5 hours.

Just got this for my son as a Christmas present but I'm having a problem, the indicator light on the transmitter blinks red 2 minutes after he drives it then the truck stops working, the battery in the truck is fully charged so I don't understand why I'm getting this problem. How long is this truck suppose to run on a full charge and what can be causing this problem?

Does anyone else's have words on the roof of the hood? Mine definitely says "we are" on the roof, and "all being state monitored" on the hood... Just seems random and out of place. Pretty sure it's a message from a sweat shop worker from china... Very sad
