I have found that it's easier to remove the cooked waffle if you turn the Wafflizer upside down and remove it from the shallow side rather than the deep side.
I have one of those Wearever double waffle makers. I call mine "Waffles-N-More". What I do is to bring it up to cooking heat, break an egg in the middle and pour waffle mix all around the egg. I'll flip it over and do the same thing on the other side. When it is finished I have cooked egg all through the waffle. This way you get some protean with your carbs. You can also put a sausage patty in the middle and have waffle-N-sausage. Try experimenting... It's fun.
@@Jeffreviews4u At first I didn't have to but now I spray both waffle plates to ensure things come out just right. I have put in fried crisp bacon in the waffle mix to give it that bacon-waffle taste.
I've watched hundreds of reviews and I'm actually pretty impressed this is extremely informative review thank you very much. I managed to get one of these yesterday off and auction site for $2 so that's a big upgrade from your $50. I was thinking about trying to do a stuffed cinnamon roll with marshmallow and Nutella.
Thanks Jeff. I do believe you are the first waffle reviewer that I've seen (and believe me I've seen MANY) That didn't have waffle batter spewing out all over the place because of over pouring batter. Nice to see a reviewer who can use his head.
@@Albertojedi I got the 5inch at Wal-Mart for 29.99 then saw the 7in and in colors at Sam's for the same 29.99 so I ordered from Sam's and took back to Wal-Mart.
I haven't finished watching the entire video so I'm not sure how the second round went, using the Pam but I have this exact w.m and I've successfully made stuffed waffles without it separating; although I usually go for just plain waffles. One difference that may be the issue is the batter. I noticed your Bisquick batter was comparatively thin and runny to my thick and heavy batter. So I'm pretty sure the problem is in the batter. I've also never used a non-stick spray and it's been fine.
On page 10 of instructions, near the bottom, it says DO NOT use nonstick sprays in this appliance. A small amount of vegetable oil can be applied before pouring the batter... just sayin'... I think adding the extra cooking time actually finished the cooking and made it easy to remove. That's been our experience.
I find it interesting because I've tried many different things and the waffle always comes out undercooked or stuck to the top WITHOUT using any spray In ALL the RUclips review videos I've seen (not from the makers of the product), the waffles come out perfectly cooked no sticking WITH the spray, this video no exception!
Thanks for the review and making waffles more than one way. I so agree all waffle makers need to have removable plates, what were they not thinking of that. Lol.
Oh my gosh that blueberry waffle looked so delicious!!!! I agree that if the irons popped out for cleaning it would perhaps justify the price. Great review!!! 🧇🧇🧇
Thank you, Jeff, for your review of this product. I am considering getting one of these on sale from a local online yardsale for $10. This may be worth it to experiment on my own. I enjoyed your video presentation and commentary and the idea for a blueberry waffle as well. Just subscribed to your channel. Enjoy.🙂
I did purchase mine from QVC the 7" in yellow. I have not used it yet (I purchased last week) but the first thing I want to try is choc chips and the next item will be peaches so I'm hoping they will come out great. But because it's a waffle, I will probably butter the top of the waffle or maybe drizzle with choc on the choc chip waffle. Thank you so much for your review because now I know I will most likely need to spray with some Pam. 😊
I belong to a keto group that uses these types of waffle makers and they swear by 1/3 cup for each waffle. So I put 1/3 cup in of my batter and then I fill it with whatever I’m doing, I did taco the other night. Then you put 1/3 cup on top. This seems to work very well
I kept seeing where people had explosions from their waffle maker. This very brand. I was scared because this is the one I have. And guess what? It happened to me. Mine exploded. Although I have had success a few times it’s still exploded on me. I think I overfilled it I’m not sure but when I opened it it blew up
great review. i'm still not sold on ours, but we got it for free. i think my issue is the thickness, i like a skinny waffle. we haven't tried to stuff a waffle yet so this is an unfair review since we're not using the waffle maker for what it's intended for. It's not great for just a basic waffle in my opinion.
could you clean out the wafflemaker with a paintbrush? Also, for the last minute, if you turned it over it might cook it better on the top side. Good review!
Non-stick sprays contain chemicals that can release toxic fumes when heated, which can be harmful to inhale. They also can damage the non-stick coating of the waffle iron over time and cause it to become less effective. Instead, you can use butter or oil to coat the waffle iron before cooking. When waffles are sticking it's usually because the machine isn't heated enough.
♏🦂🌪🕵I Bought one about 3 months ago.its still in the box. I've watched other Video Requests on it.. Mines is still brand new. I wish i would taking it back. $44 bucks wasted. I may give it to someone in need..
@@Jeffreviews4u No, I do keto now, so I use lupin flour, egg, mozzerla cheese, and baking powder.. but they are so easy to make as long as you use egg flour and baking powder you can play around with making them, some people fold in egg whites to make them lighter, I never done that but sounds doable.
Try out the Dash Waffle Maker. Try out the Nostalgia Waffle Maker. Try out the Presto Stuffler Stuffed Waffle Maker. Please ever so kindly could you give us your reviews on these items.
The one at Sam's is 7 inch. I just ordered it after watching your review. It will come in handy on my trips. Some places only have a microwave, coffee maker, and dorm fridge.

Use a waffle fork. That's what they use in Belgium and they know all about waffles.
There was a recall on the Wafflizer.

non stick sprays have a high sugar content and will adhere to the surface. That's what I was told. I think you could brush some butter on?
