    I read a suggestion that you open the fill bolt before draining. The person explained that they couldn’t get the fill plug out after they drained the case!

    Always remove the fill bolt before the drain bolt.
    If you can't remove the fill bolt, you'll be able to continue driving it until
    You find a solution.

    Hey Ron, love the channel, great content, thanks for everything. Couple questions:
    1. I've noticed you say the word "vicariously" frequently, I thought I knew what this word meant but you use it in a way I have never heard before, is it a regional saying or manner of speech?
    2. I really appreciated your detailed breakdown of the tire fitment, could you please have more in depth white board sessions?
    3. Any plans to do an EV conversion?
    Thanks again for the awesome content, really looking forward to the k20 swap you hinted at.

  • @tomkatdj
    @tomkatdj 10 месяцев назад +1

    How is this an “attack”? Looks just like the regular permanent 4wd model to me…..but what would I know, I’m only doing an engine swap on one as we speak…..

    • @rhd_ron
      @rhd_ron  10 месяцев назад +1

      Attacks look almost identical to standard 4wd models. You can normally check the shifter in the cab for the lock out pull, the UL for ultra low, and the diff lock button on the dash.

    Ron, I just subscribed to your channel. Awesome, helpful videos!! I purchased a '96 Acty SDX that hasn't gotten here yet but am prepping for all the general maintenance that I will want to do to it. What size crush washers are you replacing for these fluid changes? I've seen 14mm, 17mm & 18mm online but can't seem to find a straight answer. It looked like you had 2 different sizes shown @ the beginning of the video. Any info is appreciated. Keep up the awesome work. Very appreciative I found you!

      Hey Chris! Thanks for the question. I have heard this too but I am a Honda Recommendation loyalist. I only use Honda MTF or if I'm in a pinch will use a Non-Synthetic 10W-30. I keep MTF in the garage 100% of the time so it's even been a LONG time since I've used 10W-30. I hope this helps, just what I do.
