I'm so glad you're enjoying the wonderfully beautiful and diverse state of Florida! We are going to St. Pete soon (Dali Museum) and now I think I'll take a side trip north to Tarpon Springs! Sponging is huge in many parts of the state but I'm still fascinated. Thank you Jordan for another fun trip- save me some baklava! 🪸☀️🌴🦩☺️🥰😊❤️
I love Tarpon!! I try to go there a lot, it never gets old. Since you've to Tarpon and New Port Richey, I'd say another nice town that's a bit further is Plant City. Lots of cool stuff there. Edit: I haven't been to all the places you went into, but that Antique store looks incredible, I have to check that out next time I'm there.
Enjoyed the vlog as per usual! As many times as I've been to Tarpon Springs I had no idea that pinball arcade was there. It just went on my "to do " list. 🙂 The place looks really cool.
We visited Tarpon Springs years ago because of the movie and it looks very much like it did back then. We took a boat tour and our guide went diving for sponges. Loved this video and always great to see Jah. Thanks Jordan.
Jordan…thank you SO much for showing us all this is Tarpon Springs. I have family in Clearwater and Port Richey. I can’t do the walking and can’t tolerate the heat so I appreciate you doing all the walking for us. I DEF would LOVE to go to Replay. That’s heaven for us folks who grew up in the 70’s. LOVED the game rooms. Especially pinball and football🫠😍🎉
When I first moved to Sarasota FL 16 years ago, I took a day trip up to Tarpon Springs with my folks. We indulged at Hellas (OMG the food, the wine, the desserts!), bought sponges, and I perused Get A Guru for lovely soaps. It was a fun little town. Glad you got to visit!
Tarpon Springs is always fun. Look up the movie Beneath the 12 Mile Reef. Rusty Bellies is the place for fresh seafood and the Dolphin tours are a blast. Took parents on that. Really enjoyed the video. The downtown area is so cool
I remember when I was in elementary school going over to Tarpon Springs/Naples/Tampa a week for vacation and going on one of the boats where they dive for the sponges. It was a lot of fun. There was a nighttime show over there called Waltzing Waters that's been gone for the past 20+ years.
Every time I go down to see my Mom in Palm Harbor I always make a point of going to Tarpon Springs and have a meal at Hellas and hitting their bakery for Baklava! Great video Jordan!
Nice seeing Jah again strutting his stuff so wonderfully with his sweet face & Dad❣️God bless you both, Jordan. Thanks for taking us to Tarpon with you. That sponge and antique shop as well as the pastries looked AMAZING 👍 ❤️🙏🏻🐕🦺🌴
Jordan if I walked into that arcade with my husband and all those pinball machines I would never get him to leave! Our first date was going to play pinball! He's my true 'pinball wizard'. True story- my dad bought my older brothers a pinball machine for our rec room - Ballys Kings and Queens. Pinball and arcade games- so many memories!!!!!☺️🥰❤️😊🪸☀️🌴🦩
So glad you made this visit - what a terrific place! Really vibrant atmosphere and so much to see. Many thanks for this vlog. Also, as always, it's great to see Jah - he always makes us smile.
If you have time you have got to go to Sam's Beach over in Hudson. It's close to you and a great place to eat and some times you can see dolphins from the dock. I've been there many times and the food is always delicious. Eat on the dock and a cool atmosphere. Great video.
The beginning of this video reminded me of your daze walking with Jah on Hollywood Blvd. Love that you are doing little travel spots. Make sure to check out all the antique malls you can. I'm biased, but so many cool things to see. The weirder the better! Great vlog as always, Jordan!
Is that a Hot Toys 1/6th scale Batmobile sold in the shop at the window display? Also STAR WARS THE MANDALORIAN THE CHILD HOVER PRAM™ Mattel Creations 1:1 scale in front of the Batmobile!
👍💯💓👏👏👏. Great way to start my Day. Love seeing JAH.🥰. I love exploring. I love going into Antique stores. So much to see. You never know what you might find.😁. Thanks for another great Vlog Jordan. Vee and family.
Awww, always love seeing Jah❤️ he's so loved 😍 thank you for showing Florida, I've never been there, on my bucket list 🥰 I changed my font but cannot change it back for 14 days, I'm not a spammer ❤️ oh wow, I remember playing that pinball machine from 1976 at the bowling alley on Venice Blvd and Grandview Blvd., in Mar Vista California. And Jordan, I know you know where that is ☺️
Jordan I went on the Dolphin Racer excursion in November 2021 in St Petersburg. It is a very big yellow Speedboat. What was a 2 hour trip and goes out into Tampa Bay and Gulf of Mexico. I got tickets on Groupon that were pretty cheap. Tampa Jay told me he thought Hulk Hogan used to own it at one time. It was a very fun trip with lots of Dolphins seen jumping in the waves. Great video today!
Thanks for the memories. My parents took me there in 1976. Still got the ticket stubs for the old "Spongeorama" museum. To bad it's not there anymore. It was a classic tourist attraction.
that's what i like about those old sotres in the old buildings, looking from the outside they don't look that big but inside they go on and on, with connecting rooms, nooks and crannies evrerywhere
Jordan I just love Florida and miss it so much, the first time I went was in 1971 and have been in love since, as I’ve told you before my parents retired to Punta Gorda and really enjoyed my time there and of corse Gainsville. My parents took us to so many of the places that you are visiting Ty I really needed this, Hi Jah😎🐾Oh wow the arcade was fabulous, reminded so much of Hampton Beach in NH💙The artwork is wonderful, the glass dishes I believe were called depression glass very popular in New England, again ty for a great day🐈⬛🐾🐈
Good Job Jordan. Funny that you are hesitant to take Jah with you, it's Florida dogs are taken everywhere, Grocery stores, Department stores, I was amazed. LOL I will add Tarpon Springs to my to do list.
Fabulous video, Jordan. I was thrilled to see Jah, too. I had a wonderful time in Tarpon Springs. I tasted bak lava for the first time. There’s a great old movie on TCM about sponge diving… set in Tarpon Springs. Thank you for showing me this town I have never forgotten
I’m watching on my phone app without glasses. I finally got my eyes to focus because I couldn’t believe someone named a city Tampon Springs - oh the trials of getting older 😂
I recognize every shot in this video. Visit there at least annually. My buddy owns a smaller marina straight across the river from the sponge tour boats called “Doc of the Bay”.
I also didn't know about the sponges and how they were made or where they come from. But I do feel like I maybe should have picked up on that watching Spongebob all those years ago.. a part of me always wondered what he was doing down there😅 Such a fun vlog to watch, lovely place to visit.
I just saw the headline! I live close to Tarpon Springs. Maryland girl living in a Florida world. I'd love to visit there. One of the things I'd love to do is hunt for sponges, and of course the food.
I’m glad you enjoyed yourself I enjoyed right a long with you. I had never heard of sponging so this was some history for me! Your videos are great and I love you taking the pup with you,he’s so sweet
Hi Jordan, love the photo opportunities. I never knew that there were different sponges for washing. Well, those stores certainly cater for everything. Great seeing the Jahster. Great vlog Jordan.
Nice to learn that sponges come from the bottom of the ocean and I would ❤️ love to see the Greek city in tarpon springs Florida good vlog Jordan vickie napa ca
cute Jah... I had a marvelous time. the shoppes and the antiques shoppe . never had Greek food ( need to try one day ) thanks for another fun day ...stay safe Jordan and Jah as well.
I was going to mention tarpon Springs on the New Port Richey piece but figured you knew about it. It’s hard to watch but Beneath the 12 mile reef was filmed here or nearby. It’s about 2 families fighting over the sponges. One of my favorite old school actors Gilbert Roland is in it and a young Robert Wagner. Every January the Greek church does a ceremony where an ArchBishop throws a cross into the bayou and young men in small boats jump into the water to retrieve it. The one to retrieve it is blessed for the year. It’s a big deal and draws many visitors to watch. Not sure of the status but in the area is a primate sanctuary that my grandfather brought me to in late 1960’s. Some of the family fought to keep it open after the grandmother passed. I don’t think it’s one of those fake sanctuaries like big cat Carol killer Baskin’s place in Tampa. Yup had to say that. Lol
Adam the woo has been wanting to go there. He had commented when I suggested it to him. That would be fun to have to both go and explore. There is an aquarium in town too that is really cool. Hellas is my favorite place. Yummy food and desserts. The main street has great shops and antiques too we had our son's birthday at the arcade. Very fun. The toy store is one of our favorites too. Very cool stuff. Somuch to see and explore! The beaches are beautiful over that way as well. Thanks for sharing this wonderful town!
They've got a great ad show biggest cows I've ever seen. Roadster car show. Rqcing pigs. Comedy. Hot glass blowing, idk if they have the crash up derby. But it is the best ! Hope you can go! One year I was there, they had the biggest horse ever. He was gorgeous. The Agriculture is always fun and they have an art and photography of the area's students. It's really cool. It never disappoints. Giant bloomin onions.
I hope you stop at our Weeki Wachee Mermaid show or take a kayak down the Weeki Wachee river to see the manatee and babies! Glad to see you in our neck of the woods.
I amazed that in these times with a lot of retail stores closing their are tourist towns that can thrive Thanks again Jordan
Sucked me in, sir!! I’ve lived in new port richey fl my whole life. 31 years 🥰 I will forever love Florida and the history and sights to see!!

18:06. That's a Unicron Transformer from the 1986 movie. That toy was never commercially released. I'd be curious to know how the toy store got it.
Good Job Jordan. Funny that you are hesitant to take Jah with you, it's Florida dogs are taken everywhere, Grocery stores, Department stores, I was amazed. LOL I will add Tarpon Springs to my to do list.
Jordan what a great place! Reminds of an old movie with young RoberT Wagner about sponge fishing. Good movie too. I enjoyed this one!
And the fountain is working too. Lol. This was fun. So many wonderful things to see. Always nice to see Jah. Thanks for bringing us along. Take care.
