She is a high level empath, able to feel the song, and it's meaning and then impart that feeling through her song. She says she gets energy from her audience's response, she is empathically bathing in your love. An empath can experience your feelings, that's how she knows how it feels in real people, not just songs. She deserves tremendous mount of respect for being humble and using her vast power in the service of others, that means you and I.
Angelina is so humble and filled with empathy. I believe she has been able to maintain an unconditional love of music. The combination of all these factors brings out emotion unlike any other vocalist.
I cannot begin to say how much i appreciate her qualities and wonderful Voice. Is she really an empath?? If so then am very afraid for her security and peace of mind in later years. She reminds me of a young Elvis Presley. Sometimes i even think she resembles him (facial expressions) i must be losing it.🤔Please let history NOT repeat itself.

She clearly is an empath. That’s why we can feel her music so deeply. Empath doesn’t mean psychic in the sci-fi sense, but is a very real thing. I am an empath too and it can be a sort of superpower, as Angelina shows us. But it can also be really challenging to feel things so deeply and care so much and absorb the emotions around you. It can be exhausting.
i live in san diego , ca and i just read that angelina was spotted in los angeles buying meals for he homeless !!! does that really surprise anyone? she wrote in her fb tribute to her maternal grandfather that he would be sorely missed by the townspeople
whom he helped by giving jobs and food and money etc..if only every family in the world emulated angelina's family oh " what a wonderful world it would be " thanks
I've just recently, in the last month, discovered Angelina, and I have already listened repeatedly to so many of the songs. Almost every one brings a tear to my eye at some point or another, but this one had me full on crying. Somehow, I missed this one but now I think it's my favorite. Maybe it's just because I haven't heard it as many times as the other ones, but wow, how does she do this to us?

A lot of great singers out there...Dimash, Ana Ankudonova, Aurora...etc... but none of them, none bring the absolute feeling and soul to your heart like this young girl.. and they are older or adults....that is the BIG difference.

I’ve realized that when I listen to Angelina sing a song that I’ve heard many times before I kind of HEAR the lyrics in a way I haven’t heard them before. Strange!

Her voice just grabs your soul and pulls you through the swamp, gravel, snow, sunshine, and ocean. Makes you feel it. This why she can do pop songs without being a pop artist.
Just the right amount of vocal fry to remind us of Angelina's early years, and enough to make this fit the definition of "singing in cursive." One of my go to Angelina songs to bring my stress levels to zero in just a few bars. I agree with you that Angelina made this her own, She turned an Adela classic into an Angelina Jordan "classic" that will be remembered. Once again Angelina proves she IS the music, and makes you not only hear it, she makes us "feel it." Thanks as always for reacting.

What she does to me is the lowering of my blood pressure, without medication, the periodic breath release, without exercise, the deep relaxation, without yoga, and the massage of my brain cells, without the exploring hands of a masseuse.

My favorite part is at 5:37 when she sings, "You know how the time flies, only yesterday was the time of our lives, we were born and raised in a summer haze, bound by the surprise of our glory days." She can evoke a feeling of nostalgia unlike anyone else.
Yes, my favorite verses too, the awesome chain of words calling each other, their fine rhymes and their host of sonorities. Their emotional depth also.
As for the music, it is where Angelina radiantly shines with her raspiness, starting at the word bound.
It is at that precise moment in the song that my soul vibrates of a gentle poetic pleasure, which triggers the invading chills rolling up and down my upper arms.
It all seems such an exagerate hyperbole reply coming from a super fanatic Angel, but it is the gospel thruth.

Most reactors feel the same as you about Angelina's effect on the listener. Another fact is that a lot of the voice coaches that react to her describe Angelina as n music genius. So you are in good company.

Gitana, I totally agree with your choice to keep the reactions to any given artist spaced out. I also think that listening to many artists in between Angelina videos will enhance your appreciation of her incredible talent. There are many great talents out there these days that deserve recognition, but this one has something special. I haven't yet figured out exactly what that "something" is, but it is something I have not found in any other singer I have ever listened to. I think to fully understand how good Angelina is you have to listen to other singers too ;)

I hope that Republic Records allow Angelina to sing both what the feel will sell, and yet let her work her magic with Jazz, oldies, classics from back in the day,etc. Many have the opinion she could bring back Jazz to a whole new generation of music fans. People who are admittedly not Jazz fans in the past are now hooked on Jazz Angelina style. She could turn back the clock, and become one of the all time great jazz singers. We all know that she is destined for greatness in her lifetime. All she needs is Republic Records to realize what a treasure they have before them She is capable of much more than just being your run of the mill "Superstar" With her talent, and versatility, she can reach LEGENDARY status in the archives of music history.

I always recommend to people that it's better to start with Norway's got talent when she is younger to get prepared for the overwhelming power her voice has. I watched someone react to this song and it was their first time ever listening to Angelina. At the end of the song, they looked like they had been hit by a car because they weren't prepared for the way she reaches in and grabs hold of your soul. Wonderful reaction, by you, again.

I have mentioned in comments many times to different reactors that Angelina's magnificent voice has mysterious therapeutic magic in it like no other singer on the planet, regardless of age. I think she is God's chosen one to be a role model for todays youth.

I'm so glad you are back to Angelina. I watch your other reactions but Angelina is my favorite and watching you react to her is always a joy. Yes, Angelina will soon be unmistakably out on the world stage. I am so very happy for her and proud of her but I must confess it all feels a little bittersweet to me. I am old and selfish. I want to keep her a "secret" from all those who don't know and love her as do we. Angelina feels like she could be my own child or rather grandchild. There is a certain sadness, having watched her grow up, to know that we few (millions really but it feels like family) must let her go out into the world for real. I pray she finds all she searches for and is always protected by God's Angels. I know she will always have a sweet and beautiful soul. I don't think I could bear it if anyone tampered with that. That's a very good point, Gitana. If you just do loads of one artist (continuous stimulus), then other fans will stop coming. By spreading your reactions among several artists (intermittent stimulus), everyone keeps returning to hear your response to their favorite, and they also get to be exposed to other great performers. And of course, you get many more subscribers that way. The problem occurs when you space the reactions out too far, and some fans get pissed when their favorite isn't getting the exposure they want them to have. It's a delicate balance, helped greatly by your infectious personally---you're very easy to like. And one can easily see by the exponential growth of your channel, that most think you are doing a great job, me included. 😊💕
Now about this performance. Concerning that "rich" sound, it's amplified beautifully by that fantastic Neumann microphone. And just look at her---Stunning! She looks like a torch singer right out of a black and white 40's movie; maybe Casablanca. And her ability to cover an Adele song is unrivalled. ♦♦♦♦ Story-telling is almost the oldest art in the world, and Angelina, beside being a great singer with great rich voice, great technics and high musical IQ, has a soul of a true story-teller.
She connect to the spirit of the song she is performing and takes you to a masmerizing jurny of emotions, wrapping you with her warm voice.
There are great and amazing singers out there, some of them are also great performers but none of them is a real true story-teller.
Angelina takes the concept of "soul singing" to a different new level, and at least for me - listening to singers is not the same any more - it is divided by before Angelina and after Angelina.
I don't know any other singer in the past or in the present that put that kind of emotions like Angelina did in some specific songs (stay, million years ago, bohemian rhapsody, yellow bricks and few more), I never heard before about a singer that made grown-up / old people wish to live more just to be around to see what she will do next (in many comments for her songs), and I think that says it all
I could tell that arm pricklies erupted even though you have on long sleeves. I think that Adele would also get the arm pricklies and would be genuinely flattered.
