- Important things to take note! Always enter the battle with only one character alive! Never kill the tentacles when you revive your party or Ruby will use its quicksand. Play safe and use dazer. Use Hero drink on each character about 4 times. Last thing, deplete it's mana before using KotR. Ruby still use ultima at times as a normal attack but after drinking hero drinks, you have enough defense to take on that ultima.

@UltramanMebius2006 The point here is, rather than casting wall and healing constantly to tank the ultima, you can sap away it's mana and cast KotR without worries.
@UltramanMebius2006 Bahamut Zero, yes but Ruby will counter with ultima when KotR is used, that shit hurts a lot (That's why magic hammer is used to deplete its mana). Dazers are just there to prevent it from moving. I don't want to risk getting myself owned by those tentacles. This video needs to be recorded without it owning me.
@UltramanMebius2006 Actually, the hero-drinks are redundant for me here. I m just experimenting how much damage can I dealt with their limits when they are fully buff by them. As for dazers, they really make killing Ruby easier. I m not challenging anything nor it's a show off. It's just a simple guide that should work for low level. Notice that I rarely get myself hit by doing so.
Oh I see, that makes more sense now cuz I went back playing this game and I spent about 40+ hours. Yeah the magic pots are the best to master your materials.
@alpuentex You can fight those zombie dragon in another path. It does not have to be in the path of no return.
@Friday032610 Actually, the term W-Item glitch is whereby you use the glitch to duplicate item. It got nothing to do with gameshark though some players consider that as cheating. Personally, I believe anything that doesn't involve gameshark is not cheating cause it's Square Enix failure for leaving this kind of bug for player to abuse. Yes, you can get 99 hero drinks from chocobo racing and that takes time. I m lazy.
My combination about to kill ruby is master materia magic paired with quadra magic and use KoTR as much as you can and make sure use wall magic after tentacle were side attack
I find dazers, elixirs, w-item, Kotr, mime n hero drink do best oh and regen helps, when u can't do Kotr anymore just keep miming your limit break but has to be final limit break well to be sure

W-Item glitch. You can get them normally from chocobo racing actually but I don't spend time doing so.
Another one, Phoenix with final attack is really good
Oh that? It's because PC version's time is like 2 times slower than the PS1 version. So actually I have played 48 hour. Beside, it's easy to level up killing magic pots.
@N00bKefka I understand what you are trying to do and show.but for me it's all about killing him as fast as I can LOL.I respect your strategy in showing the public but if it was my way of doing it it might be boring to watch just because it all Knights of Round,Bahamunt Zero,and Phoenix.But with yours it's too long for me to actually try to do it LOL.But anyway Im glad that we're both have a smooth conversation rather than cursing each other LOL.TTYL I'll add you as a friend.
@RavynDarkShadow1 I said without risk, not without glitch. If you look at my reply that is 1 year ago, you notice I already said I m using the W-Item glitch.
@N00bKefka But if u r at level 99 then his Ultima shouldn't be a problem for you.Just use wall and use slow on Ruby and his Tails that should do it right?I mean I never have a problem with him using Ultima plus if u have master Final attack connect to Master Phoenix summon on all 3 parties then you pretty much OWN his ass.LOL + I never do the hero drink and Dazer thing.
What's the point of doing all that Hero Drink and Dazer? just use Bahamunt Zero and Knights Of Round (After defeated Emerald weapon) +W-summons.THAT'S IT!!!

Sorry when I think about it the time frame your at...24:22 your already level 99 and have a gold chocobo it just seems you skipped the whole story line and went straight to fighting the weapons I may be wrong.
