One tip i got from another RUclips channel is to put a few spoons in the freezer, then you can dip the frozen spoon into your hot mixture to test how thick it will be when it cools do you can adjust your ingredients. That came out do clear and pretty though!

I thnk if you put the base in the freezer for a little longer it will get thicker or if you take it out after 10 mintues and stir then put it back in it will be thicker. (Just some sugestions)

Niya Patel it’s placed in the freezer to cool off faster. But it’s not left long enough to become iced.

That's pretty cool! Try and see if you can do it without the baby oil. Try it with coconut oil, caster oil and beeswax.

And if you put this in the gloss bottles, the bottles crack in sometime...
I'd suggest use versagel only.... The consistency and everything else is difficult to match

I made my own lipgloss base... it was easy...:):):) Just investmet is all you have to do. It took at least 3 weeks for the base to turn out the way that I wanted it to turn out.

The reason they ask..because when you mix it ..it turn out White.. It really confuse you if you have tried it..cuz her are clear.. So I added more oil it still wasn't clear...but it did clear up again.. So maybe it her pan cuz I put a clear bowl in the freezer and it still came out like a cloudy white.. That why some people asking about the amount she use.. So I'm thinking that thick pan made it not tire white... I got a pan like that but it my good pan and I can't take no chance cuz them lilp pan like that is high and hard to find.. My mommy gave me my pan like this... But I don't want to take no chance with my pan😂.. Cuz if I use it.. I can't cook with it no more..😂😂😂

If you want a more opaque and less clear color version of this, use coconut oil! I use coconut oil, shea butter, vitamin E oil, and obviously beeswax. :)

Heat all of your oils together with the beeswax so it doesn't start to solidify when you add cooler oils into the hot wax. Great video. Thanks!

I've seen videos on how to make a natural lip gloss base but not all of them showed the consistency, and I really wanted to see how similar the consistency would be to versagel, as I've already bought vegan waxes and cocoa butter to attempt this for my online business. Girllllll, I was shocked. Do you think that you'd be able to store a large quantity of it and then mix in pigments and scents later on? New subscriber, btw.
You can most definitely make large quantities if you use some kind of preservers

Please do not use baby oil for anything on your lip!!! It is external use only. Just use mineral oil because the fragrance in baby oil should not be ingested. This is smart asl tho

FYI-Baby oil is mineral oil with fragrance it’s better to use pure mineral oil and you can find it at your local pharmacy section it is used as a natural laxative and sold plain without scent in the first aid section .

If you add Aloe vera you need a preservative bc oil and water don't mix and it will make mold.

If you use a double boiler you can warm your oils WITH your beeswax.
What wax to oil ratio did you use?
I did some research and on the internet it said that you cant make lipgloss with beeswax because it will harden, but by seeing this, it won't harden right?
if you do everything quick enough and at the right temperature then it won’t harden

@@stelladosantos5274 btw, try using less beeswax and i think it should be better because when the beeswax cool in the oils, that is what will determine the thickness

Not as sticky as I wanted but I mixed it with aloe Vera and it’s water based so I’m thinking that’s why maybe.

I tryed to do the video from clear lipgloss with vaseline but idk some how it's not coming out clear when I wait for a while it gets all like a white foggy tube but when you put it one it comes out how a clear lipgloss looks on the lips
Exactly the same things is happening to me I made with beeswax and Vaseline and it clear when it’s hit but as it cools down it goes foggy and white 😰

Beeswax will make it turn white when it cools period. Vaseline is not vegan free. If you dont care about marketing as vegan then The base you made is fine the only issue is that you will have to add a color to each bach so it looks nice. If you need clear then this will not work for you.
