For anyone wondering about Snider's insane capability to basically perform like in his 20's and 30's: Unlike all the other metalheads from his period, he stayed off the booze and exercised regularly. He practiced his singing and performance rigorously when all the other vocalists was off snorting cocaine and drinking themselves to death. Even now, in the twilight years, he's living healthy and still practices and exercises. I don't think anyone has been able to extend their musical performance prime years as long as Dee Snider has.
You can barely hear that age has entered his voice, he's truly an underrated performer and vocalist. Again, all the other singers from his generation are all broken down and can barely get through the first verses without having to take a break. This guy goes balls to the wall every single time because long ago he looked at the concept of aging and said "we're not gonna take it".
Gene Simmons also kept up. Paul Stanley his voice may be shot but physically he is in top form. But of course nobody can top dee
Gene doesn’t sing songs as difficult as Dee and Stanley. PStanley has finally getting his voice a bit weak, but could he sing up until a few years ago. But agreed, Dee is great
No. The secret is his hair.
He is a true musician
Pienso lo mismo la edad no perdona pero el lo lleva estupendamente🎉🎉❤
Damn even in 2016 this song live still has the spirit in it from the studio
Hell ya his voice still rocks
This song is one of those precious few that have exceeded classic status.
Dee is looking great! It's crazy seems like yesterday this song came out for me.
Respect Dee 💪
When you start out young man as a rocker you never loose the power to rock I was in my 20 40 years ago when twisted sister started
This video doesn t do the set justice ! It was one of the best performances I've ever seen at bloodstock
I agree it was better sound there but still nice to remember
You can tell they are pros with the audience and dee just acts like he's been allowed out his cage for the evening🙃🤪🤯🥳
Saw TS's "last" show in NJ about 6 wks after this one and it was one hell of a performance. I think Dee was 62 then and he was hopping around just like this. They even paid tribute to AJ and brought his daughter out onstage, she got really choked up, prob the most solemn thing I've seen at a rock show. Just over a yr later I saw Dee do a solo show in a club and he was just as crazy! Showed ZERO fatigue right to the last encore.
I’m in my 20’s and questioning where this guy finds the energy
His bank account
@@lemmythebulldog8812 Yeah, Make Sense 😂😂😂
This track come owt back in 1984...i was 14...I'm now 52 & times have changed so much... Back in the 80s was something to live for...
Sucks it from the people in first row
Maybe 🤔 he drinks 5hour energy before the show? Maybe it’s cocaine?
I bought this album when it first came out. I’m almost 59 and still a huge fan of Dee and the band 🙌🏼🎸🥁
dee snider...my idol
Soy de nueva generación pero, disfruto cada segundo de sus canciones QUE VIVA EL ROCK!!🤟🏼🖤
🇪🇨
The greatest thing I seen today
Mark "THE ANIMAL" Mendoza 👏👏👏👏 wicked bassist 👏👏👏👏 my respects for him! All TWISTED SISTER let me tell you: thank you so much. Thank you Mike on drums. R.I.P Anthony Jude Pero🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dee is not only a Rocker but a great politician.
Great Politician. That’s an interesting combination of words.
The man said for anyone who doesn’t wear masks can listen to his music. Now, tell me. Are we gonna take that?
You can't be a good person and be accepted into politics. Politics is only for the soulless who demand co trol and acceptance. Please show me a government in history that has ever been proven different. And definitely don't say canada because I can tell the the rights and responsibilities forced down our throat have been proven bogus the past 2 years and we have a dramatic child calling the shots. Still better than Trump I guess but damn cutting it close.
Brilliant!
Listen this in 1984 but I still love it in 2021

If this isn't classic bassist's look I don't know what is...
Live vocals the amazing Dee snider!
Mike Portnoy be like - "seriously? You hired me for this?" 🤣 jokes apart, one of the most energetic songs I ever heard, heard it numéro time when I was a teenager.
It's funny cuz AJ was kinda the same way. Extremely technical but Dee would always tell him to keep it simple cuz as he says "how many drummers can play one beat and everybody instantly recognizes what the song is"
The guys are lookin very good
I got to go to one of these
( Leave your Comment in English )
One of the Greatest Metal-Rock band forever tbh
What do ye say guys ?
Portnoy on drums ❤️
I didn't know Portnoy played with them either
it's a tribute to the music he grew up with
talk about overkill
its a shame that the power of the drums isn't captured on this recording. It probably sounded a hell of a lot better there.
I love TS
Have always loved this song. Still have the Kerrang video from 1984 with this on it. Great memories!
🤘 forever
Mantab lagu kenangan saat masih ngeband dulu

We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
We've got the right to choose, and
There ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be, just
Don't pick on our destiny, 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
Oh, you're so condescending
Your call is never ending
We don't want nothin', not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do
Woah-oh-oh
Woah-oh-oh
We're right (yeah)
We're free (yeah)
We'll fight (yeah)
You'll see (yeah)
Whoa-whoa, we're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
No way!
Woah-oh-oh
Woah-oh-oh
We're right (yeah)
We're free (yeah)
We'll fight (yeah)
You'll see (yeah)
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
We're not gonna take it (no!)
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore (just you try and make us)
We're not gonna take it (come on!)
No, we ain't gonna take it (you're all worthless and weak)
We're not gonna take it anymore (now drop and give me 20)
We're not gonna take it (a pledge pin)
No, we ain't gonna take it (on your uniform)
We're not gonna take it anymore
what a beast.... ahaha
Holy shit Mike Portnoy on drums!!!
The legend of Mexican pizza doughnuts was born

Dee Snider é foda!

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍L O V E
The Kingston Trio was the first, true kck-ass punk band.
Boys, I didn't know Sam Losco played the bass guitar!?!?
"I didn't bang him, Barb!"
Super TS and maxi DEE SNIDER
Wow. These guitar players diden't learn their craft in 40 years. They may thank Dee Snider and Mike Portnoy.
3:00, why is there a giant duck in the crowd?
El de la bateria es Micke Portnoy!?

Huevos con aceite y limón
Does the band really care ? The singer's amazing
