It's a sad day because Tom Brady achievements as a football player represents the best in human achievement. The passion , work ethic,determination to strive to maximize your highest level as a athlete and will to win and compete is what sports is all about. It's what pushes humanity forward in science, technology, and the arts. What a honor to witness Babe Ruth,Bo Jackson,Tiger Woods,Michael Jordan,a horse like secretariat, Tom Brady and Jim Brown. All of these athletes give us a glimpse of God's creation at its ultimate level. I realize it's only sports but these athletes represent human beings striving to be perfect and reaching for perfection even though we know that's impossible for us. Thank you Tom Brady for showing us how to achieve and maximize our human potential. God has blessed you and all of us that got the honor to watch you compete. Much happiness and love in your life.
One other person in this category I forgot to mention is Vince Lombardi. I so admire Coach Lombardi's passion and dedication.He is quoted by Bart Starr during his first meeting with the Packers in 1959. Coach said- Gentlemen we are going to relentlessly pursue perfection full knowing we will not reach it but we will relentlessly pursue it and thereby catch greatness. My God what a honor to play for a Coach like that.
Tom Brady has a brilliant football mind. I think his numbers got better as he got older because he had been learning to read defenses for so long that it became second nature to him before each play. Imagine if he knew in his 40’s but with the physical abilities of his 20’s what kind of stats he would’ve had. He was such a disciplined and detail oriented player that he’ll make an amazing coach someday if he decides to go that direction. Awesome career Mr. Brady.
“I might never have liked you, point in fact, I despise you. But that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t respect you.” Cheers to the best to have ever done it, and this is coming from a Steelers fan, respect sir. 👍🏽

I truly think he only came back this last season as a diversion from his personal family issues. He needed some sort of "normalcy" and football was it. Now he's dealt with all of that stuff and he can leave with no further need of the game as that diversion/safe space.
I am Greatfull to be alive in this point of time that i was able to see all of his carrer !!! I hated him I loved him he made me go threw so mutch emotion !!! BRADY IS THE GOAT!!!! FOR EVER !!!
Tom Brady's resume JUST IN HIS 40's is Hall Of Fame worthy. Listen to this (these are his stats ONLY from his 40's): * 6 Playoff Berths * 5 Division Championships * 13 Playoff Wins * 4 Super Bowl Appearances * 3 Super Bowl Championships * 3 Pro Bowls * 1 Regular Season MVP * 2 Super Bowl MVP's * Led the league in completions twice * Led the league in passing yards twice * Led the league in Touchdown Passes once Think about that. Tom Brady could have graduated college at 22, gotten married, had a couple kids, raise them, put in 18 years in a normal career, see his kids off to college, THEN enter the NFL at age 40, and STILL put up a Hall Of Fame career. Absolutely mindblowing longevity.
Lest we forget the man played the majority of his career in an era where defense won championships, against the likes of the Steelers and the Ravens. Wish nothing but the best for him in the booth
I would say his 30s were his worst... cuz obviously he played his ENTIRE 30s so of course the yards and TDs were higher but you'd expect at least another ring during that time. Just shows how amazing his 20s and 40s really were. 40s really... unbelievable.
Tom Brady in Tampa: 1 Super Bowl. 2 Division Titles. Back to Back Stanley Cups from the Lightning. Rays had 3 playoff runs, including going to the World Series. Champ Bay was definitely rocking these last 3 years.

Until then, no one had inspired him sufficiently and that’s why he was a sixth round pick instead of the #1 pick that he should have been.
The fact is, no one knows when it started in him. Not even UM fans.
Love him always thank you for rte greatness ❤👏🏾👏🏾
TB12 Thanks for the great memories, you truly are a legend and will be forever. TB12=GOAT!!

Thanks for the career! Forever the 🐐! Great competitor! Always played hungry. Thanks for the memories!
This comment is beautiful. A fine tribute
Brady.
He mastered the position.
Weather you were liked or not you will always be the best to ever play.
The song says “You’ve got to know when to hold them and know when to fold them” Tom Brady made a wise move!
No one is more NFL than Rich. Rich kicked off the NFL network, great show Rich.
Thank you, Tom. The Greatest Of All Time as both a player and a man of integrity/humility. You were the best role model for our children ever.
This has to be a joke he’s not any of those things
@@The_king567 jealousy is a terrible quality
@@ryancalhoun2910 nah there Isn’t a Single person who is jealous of Tom Brady for good reason
@@The_king567 you're blocked. Deal with your jealousy problem.
“I might never have liked you, point in fact, I despise you. But that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t respect you.”
Cheers to the best to have ever done it, and this is coming from a Steelers fan, respect sir. 👍🏽
My Guy...
Damnnnnn I was looking for 1 more year 😢...
Congratulations TB 12....
You gave the game your All..
All the way to the End...
OoooooooWeeeee
The GOAT 🐐 🙌🏽 😎
Stats tell it all. Congratulations Tom Brady, and thanks for what you brought to the game.
Tom averaged over 1,500 more yards in a year and 8 more touchdowns a year in his 40's then what he averaged per year in his 30's... THE GOAT FOREVER!
Dan is great. Total respect the way he delivers information with no 🐂💩. Brady and Dan are 🐐
just staying healthy for that period of time, the durability, physically and mentally...... insane
the greatest NFL player I've ever watched. Thanks Tom. Enjoy retirement and live happily. The GOAT.
WOW
WHAT A SPEECH
THANK YOU RICH EISEN SHOW
INCREDIBLE STATS
❤️ THANK YOU TOM BRADY ❤️

such a fanboy, not impressed
Tom Brady's resume JUST IN HIS 40's is Hall Of Fame worthy. Listen to this (these are his stats ONLY from his 40's):
* 6 Playoff Berths
* 5 Division Championships
* 13 Playoff Wins
* 4 Super Bowl Appearances
* 3 Super Bowl Championships
* 3 Pro Bowls
* 1 Regular Season MVP
* 2 Super Bowl MVP's
* Led the league in completions twice
* Led the league in passing yards twice
* Led the league in Touchdown Passes once
Think about that. Tom Brady could have graduated college at 22, gotten married, had a couple kids, raise them, put in 18 years in a normal career, see his kids off to college, THEN enter the NFL at age 40, and STILL put up a Hall Of Fame career. Absolutely mindblowing longevity.
The fact that he did it while not being mobile is the most impressive thing to me.
True
Right, he had the QB sneak down to a science, though. Also he knew how to buy a little time by taking a side step in the pocket.
How many super Bowls have all the the mobile quarterbacks combined won?? Not as much as Tom
Your the G.O.A.T Tom were going to miss you...
Much love and respect for you Tom. You da Man👍
Time Flies it going to be sad to See Him Go but Tom Brady NEEDS to become a NFL GM
Tom Brady in Tampa: 1 Super Bowl. 2 Division Titles. Back to Back Stanley Cups from the Lightning. Rays had 3 playoff runs, including going to the World Series.
Champ Bay was definitely rocking these last 3 years.
Brady and Papi. They spoiled us in Boston ❤️
The GOAT even tho he never accepts that title, I wish him the ultimate best in his future endeavors
Great career. Thank you for the last 3 years as a bucs. No one will come close to tom’s playing career or records.
People said the same thing about Michael Schumacher. Nobody would ever touch his 7 championships.
Nobody would ever touch his 91 wins. Lewis Hamilton came along and changed that.
Given enough time, every legend will be dethroned. It's only natural.
How can a Person always find the Right words! Poetry mr Eisen. Thank You TB 12
Thank you TB 12 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 ✨✨
Well said, best tribute TB can get. All true.
IMO: Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Junior is the Greatest Team Athlete of All-Time! When you look at the entirety of his career, it’s absolutely astonishing that it all happened the way it happened! 💍 💍 💍 💍 💍 💍 💍
U have to be joking he’s not any of that
