The song would be nothing without this super interesting & dangerous blues riff during verse by Brian Jones. Unbelivable for me still he got no song writer credits by Jagger/Richards. I think, that from this time point, Jagger/Richards commanded the ship and Jones went second.
MAGNIFICENT MASTERPIECE, very beautiful piece of music, fan for well over 50 years, top of the line solid gold standard of excellence from Master Musicians
In 1966 or 67 our squad was coming down off of the DMZ, I believe we were nearing Quan Tri. It was a narrow trail and one of the Marines dropped a live hand gernade and shouted live gernade so I think I set the world record for the 100 yard dash, so did everyone else because no one got hurt. Now that the enemy knew where we were I was really worried, then this song played in my mind and I thought yeah this really could be the last time. Every time I hear this song I remember vividly that day and thank God that I made it back to Colorado. I was 19 then and now I am almost 77. I was in the 2nd Battalion 9th Marine Regiment I Corps\3rd Division...

Brian Jones was truly the early Stones!! Very mystical dude....RIP BRIAN AND CHARLIE!! "IF THERE'S A ROCK ' N ROLL HEAVEN, WELL YA KNOW THEY GOT A HELLUVA BAND"!!!!
Amen, Brian was the best and knew the best music and how to play Chicago blues; Keith was and is a natural guitarist and lead the melody for the stones. Charlie was a natural stones drummer; thank you Charlie and RIP.
Brian Jones, who founded and named The Rolling Stones......the greatest musician in rock history....played 25 (TWENTY FIVE) instruments....No Jones=NO STONES !!!
Ya, Brian did the riffs, until he couldn't anymore, too bad, too. He got so messed-up on drugs that I do believe I saw one of these great B&W films of them playing, in the final years before he was fired, where Brian wasn't even playing his guitar. He wanted to be the king of "sex, drugs and R&R, unfortunately for him.
This song would have been nothing without Brian’s guitar. He wrote his part which is the song and makes the song the hit it was. He should have received a song writing credit on this.
An incredible song, but NOTHING without Brian Jones' incredible gnawing, tortured guitar riff...this young musical genius, providing the hook to help his younger friends Mick and Keith take the band away from him - Jones made many, many astounding musical contributions to the Stones, but this is the most 'blues' of them all - a riff that he composed and performed, that could only lead to the harm of his own fragile self-worth - really, beyond words.
CLASSIC WORLD MELODY. THERE WAS THE GOOD TIMES...WITH THE STONES MUSIC. FOR ME, THE STONES BEFORE AND AFTER BRIAN ARE 2 DIFFERENT BANDS...I THINK I PREFER THE ORIGINAL STONES.
Well I told you once and I told you twice But ya never listen to my advice You don't try very hard to please me With what you know it should be easy Well this could be the last time This could be the last time Maybe the last time I don't know. I am a big Rolling Stones fan and love Mick Jagger and he is so hot and sexy ! I love the 60s 70s music the best ! I love all types of music but The Rolling Stones are high on my list !
Thanx for posting it and not screwing with it like everyone else has done. I posted a 3rd gen copy on youtube, had it up for 5 years and then they took it down, and gave me a strike.
King Of Sync I’ve had it up for a bit and nothing’s come through I’m sorry about your strike mate but yeah just download this video if you want to keep it just if you repost don’t take all the credit
very early video that I haven't seen and glad to have seen it here so thanks for putting it out there for all to enjoy that are in their 70's now and Keith will outlive us all~!!!!
Not so, "Tell Me" was. And while this will always be my favorite Rolling Stones song, in truth it was heavily based on "This May Be the Last Time" by The Staple Singers.
I'm 65 now, 1st saw the Stones on television aged 15, that's 50 years of loving the same band? I love loads of bands, but nothing compares to the Stones.
Timeless. Shame that there isn't anything that has come out in the past 20 years that we're going to be able to say the same thing about 50 years from now.
Tratan a Brian Jones como algo sin importancia recuerden que el fundador de la banda y además tocaba varios instrumentos en las entrevistas lo pagaban éso se llama envidia
Thanks for posting this song ❤️ I just love song. Last time. Told once told you twice someone had pay the price. Last time I don't know awesome lyrics 😍 band 👍😊

I told you once & I told you twice you wouldn't listen to my advice what a phenomenal tune long live the rolling stones shook the world with there music 💯🎼🎹🎼🎹🎸🎻🪕🎶🎵🎷🎺
The birth of rock in this, with all the heavy stuff of Kinks, The Who, Cream, Hendrix and the later Stones themselves just around the corner, but this track created the hard sound that was required so it to could be built upon. The Beatles were too sweet sounding, something tougher was needed.
I agree with your comments. The early recordings of the Beatles were too saccharine, bordering on bubblegum music. On the other hand, the Stones were rocking right from the start.
@@alanbobe-velez9716 Beatles had their own genius but they were essentially pop whereas the Stones were always rock n roll. I love the line about how not even the most naive suburban teen thought Mick just wanted to hold her hand.

Mick Jagger......his grooved-out moves have never changed!

Talent beyond the pale. The Stones have burned their name into immortality.

Brian and Jimi Hendrix had plans to work together after Brian left the Stones. I like to imagine they got together on the otherside.
Charlie and Brian you were the original substance of the Stones, we will never forget you !! RIP

I love Brian Jones musically, but I think his "self-worth" got destroyed when he got six women pregnant and failed to father their children.
