Details matter.
Elite can be a fantastically beautiful game, it's such a shame that it is an FDev game. They don't seem to understand that the vast majority needed more than exploration and even when they finally wake up to putting in some compelling story driven gameplay they lock most of it behind a grind wall of engineering. I desperately want to play but I hate with a passion the engineer gameplay as it is currently implemented. Which leaves me with very little to do after multiple hundreds of hours.Beautiful video Grimulas. Oh es the other thing, unless you come into the game with like minded friends it is virtually impossible to actually do anything other than single player stuff.. my fault for being the only gamer I know who likes Elite. ❤
It's truly bizarre how badly mismanaged the game is. They manage to pull you in and get you invested which is the most difficult part, and then fumble the long term retention which should be easier at that point. It should be studied as an example to avoid.
Maybe now with there new focus on the games that still work good for frontier. They can build more in depth content... Fingers crossed 🤞.
