- Rocklands is already one of my favourite places to travel in Victoria, Australia and its made even better by this amazing fossicking location nearby in Mooralla. We got very lucky!
Please make sure you have a miners rights permit if you are going to have a go at fossicking (it takes 2 minutes and only cost $25 for 10 years)

Really enjoyable and beautiful haul of crystal. Very well filmed and thanks for sharing 👍
My pleasure Neil, thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it!
Awesome vid! I live only a few kms from that spot but have never been fossicking. Taking the fam for an adventure this weekend!
Absolutely love this comment, have heaps of fun guys!
Nice haul mate. It would be a rewarding hobby. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels 👍🏼
Still can't believe it, super rewarding that's for sure. What the video probably doesn't highlight is just how much hard work it is digging into the clay, makes it all the sweeter when you find something though. Cheers mate, you too ✌🏽
Man, that's amazing! I went to that secret place in Beechworth and found some tiny geodes but that's the extent of my luck. Those smokies are so dark!
Such an awesome trip!!! 💚
Hell yeah it was! 💚
Why am I just seeing this good Aussie content and a great vid thank you great finds
I was thinking the same thing, just checked out your channel mate. You've had no shortage of great finds too, awesome!
very interesting !! congrats on your finds $$
Cheers Brent!
How do you know what level to dig at? Been out there today and couldn’t find anything would love some tips :)
I'm not 100% sure, I was drawn to the deeper holes that were already there but we also had some luck just looking over the surface. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
You need to dig through the red clay into the greenish layer. Will find some floaters in the red but bulk of the geodes are deeper down
Cheers Stuart, I can't wait to get back out there!
This whole area was covered in volcanic outcrops, basically it is just under your feet. 😅
