Hi Ellie, You are just not completing the stitch before you lift up the presser foot and removing the fabric. We have posted all the Viking E20 videos on SewingMastery . com. If you re-watch this video, we talk about this issue around the 5:30 time. Hope this works and thanks for watching. ~Sara~
Sara thank you a lot for all your videos! Actually i am just watching the first of them but it's already awesome to me. My hubby bought me one and i am dying looking for how to use it. Your videos saved me^^ Have a great day then!
hope I can sew just watching & learning. :) thanks for the video.... I'm a guy, liking to do different stuffs. trying to make my own jacket. hopefully all works well.
+loui0008 Hi Loui, Correct. Only in the bobbin area. ~Sara~ Glad we could help. If you want to say "THANK YOU" we now have a "Support This Channel" option for money donations. Click here: ruclips.net/user/HeirloomCreations Thanks again for watching! ~Sara~
So I've had my machine for almost 10 years, and I've failed to remember the size of the bobbin that is needed for this machine and can't see, to find the size anywhere. I've been having some issues with my machine even after getting it serviced. Also, any advice for tension with thin stretchy materials like chiffon? I can never seem to get my tensions right.
Hello! Thanks for all your videos, they are amazing. I have an easy question, but i am worried about it. I bought a sewing thread set with metal bobbins. After that i bought my first sewing machine at all (i know, should be the opposite):-) but now I am afraid to use the metalic ones because the machine came with plastic ones. It is really bad if i use them? Can i break something inside? I hope you can help me!!! Thanks
I bought this machine used (actually, pre-owned but in reality unused) but almost all of the accessories are missing. Can one use the "universal" bobbins and presser feet that one can buy from Aliexpress practically for free?
Thank you so much for this video! However my brand new sewing machine keeps sewing backwards? I've flicked the reverse switch a couple of times but nothing! Do you know what the problem could be?
Please help! So i have this viking h class e20 everytime i thread my machine n sew it sews good but everytime i take out the fabric and put it back on to sew again the thread pulls up and off the needle so i have to re thread can u tell me why it does this is? Is it the tension? Whats the normal tension setting for both the thread and the bobbin??
Does this machine have a metal frame, I am going to buy a new machine and would like to know if e20 is better than viking 116. I do want a Huskvarna though.
I cannot get the bobbin to fill. I have not used this machine for a long time, but it has no dust etc inside the machine. When I press down on the foot pedal, the motor is running but the bobbin spool is doing nothing (yes the bobbin has been locked on to fill). The spool that the bobbin is on is just not spinning? If I take the bobbin off, and lock it into place as if I was going to fill a bobbin the spool spins just fine, until I put the bobbin back on, then it will not spin. Well it tries to and moves a bit then nothing.
I have an older version of this sewing machine and the power chord and foot control are missing. Do you know where I could find another one of these specific items?
Hi Sara, do you know how thick or what is the max thickness this machine can handle? I want to do triple-zigzag stitching using Draycon material up to 4 plys thick. Thank you

Hola, me gustaría saber si puedes hacer el tutorial en español para América Latina, desdé ahora muchas gracias y recibe un cordial saludo desde Santo Domingo República Dominicana.
You lost me so many times. Here I am trying to set up this machine when I’ve never done it before. I had to go back over and over trying to see what you did. I couldn’t figure out how to get the bobbin out or how to thread the machine. This is way to fast paced and not very well explained for steps.
Actually, the picture on top to thread the machine is not clear. AND, I’m wasting a ton of time rethreading it, because not only is the pic no clear? It’s video does not show it close enough up. NOT a great video.
This video has saved me so many times over the years. Whenever I forget how to do something on this machine, this video is my reference. Thank you!!
I got this for my birthday and wanted a video to set up my machine with so I didn't feel so lonely or oblivious. Thanks!!!
Thank you very muuuchh ❤
I bought the same machine and it's difficult to learn it alone 😊
Following u ❤
Thank you so much I just got this machine from my great aunt and was trying to figure out how to thread it!
Απίθανο video μόλις το είδα 2-3 φορές ξεκίνησα την λειτουργία της ραπτομηχανής. Απίθανο βιντεο

I sew a few times every year and I swear I have to reference this video every time I start because my thread keeps getting jumbled up.

Happy to help. Happy sewing!

Thank you for your clear instruction video. Does the Viking E20 have a metal base inside?
Hi - Yes, this machine has a metal frame inside that all the metal parts connect to. ~Sara~
It is difficult to see everything clear, sometimes the camera does not zoom where it is needed.
Thank you for your videos! Regarding lubrication of this machine: do i only oil in the bobbin area and nowhere else?
+loui0008 Hi Loui, Correct. Only in the bobbin area. ~Sara~

Thank you so much for this! I have the exact same machine and just spend hours figuring it out. Very clear! :)
Very good instructions 🙏🏽

I would not seek out metal bobbins to use in the E20 but as long as they are class 15 bobbins they should not hurt anything.

Does the type of needle make a big difference?

I do want a Huskvarna though.
The Viking Emerald 116 is a better built machine than the Viking E20.
Ok, thank you, I think that settles the matter.
Thank you SO much for your videos! So informative :-)
Thank you very much!

Where does the bobbin thread go once it's threaded up?
i have a question . my mom has a Husqvarna machine . and i need to know if it's possible to sew through cardboard . the kind they use in caps .
I have an older version of this sewing machine and the power chord and foot control are missing. Do you know where I could find another one of these specific items?
+Lyndsie Jace You will want to visit your local Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machine Dealer for that part.
Hi Sara, do you know how thick or what is the max thickness this machine can handle? I want to do triple-zigzag stitching using Draycon material up to 4 plys thick. Thank you
+Fernando Hi, I would take your fabric you need to sew with you and test the machine before you buy it. ~Sara`
Thanks Sara. Does it do triple stitch zig-zag?
can i use twin needle in this machine
Could you please tell me how to slow down this machine in order to do free motion embroidery?
Hi, The only control on the speed is with the foot control. ~Sara~
Thank you, great tutorial on this machine.
Sincerely,
New pandemic mask seamstresses
Thank you so much for your video...finally now I can use the sewing machine that I bought 2 years ago :-)
