François Rabbath is a newly-minted nonagenarian and legend of the Double Bass. Born in Syria, he moved to France in the 1950s. He performed live with Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Paco Ibañez and the Rolling Stones among others before joining the Paris Opera Orchestra at age 50. Around that time, he became more and more interested in pedagogy. His method attracts followers from all over the world. Now as ever, he’s looking to learn and grow with curiosity and zest.
