- RLCraft Finally Breaks Me (Ep 9)
The RLCraft Modpack for Minecraft by Shivaxi looked interesting, so I wanted to give it a shot. This is RLCraft Ep 1 (Ep 1 may also be the only episode, we'll see if there's interest in more) Nonetheless, RLCraft is hardcore, unforgiving and brutal, but it's a lot of fun. If there's enough support for it, I'll make episode 2.
What is RLCraft:
RLCraft is a hardcore realism modpack for Minecraft (Minus all the mythical creatures...) RLCraft makes Minecraft incredibly difficult and you'll see that here, in episode 1.

To be honest, a dragon that is in water is easy prey. Seriously, if you have a bow they can't do _shit._

he needs to farm up 16 atk def and ajl for diamond armor and bow finish a dungeon for the diamonds then make a diamond long bow and arrows, range it while hiding behind a thick wall.

These tips might ease your frustrations, and it’s not as if I’m helping u cheat because everything is already part of the game.
1.) death scrolls can be crafted fairly easily and will warp you back to your death location
2.) recall potions will take you back to your spawn
3.) backpacks
4.) you can create an avian treat which will let you get a flying pet
5.) do not fw dragons
6.) many bauble items can be crafted or found as a drop easily (rings) and are usually very helpful, you can equip them by pressing the ring symbol next to your players armor slots in your inventory.
7.) focus on getting your skills to 16 which will allow you to use diamond level equipment
8.) look at your bestiary for information on animals you don’t know about
9.) upload more often
10.) watch some tips and tricks RUclips videos or go on the rl craft wiki for more
11.) longer episodes(just cut out less stuff we want to see more{this saves you time as well})
12.) choose a skill to specialize in (increases the xp u get from doing it) by pressing ‘h’ or ‘L’ I can’t remember

Want to kill a dragon? Here is how:
Tame a Hippogryph with rabbits feet by tossing the feet on the ground in front of it. Make sure Hippogryph is on the ground. Craft a TON of arrows and a few bows (in case they break). Fly the Hippogryph in circles around the Dragon all while pelting it with arrows.
And use the diamonds to make enchantment table to enchant the bow hole for power
you can take it down with arrows if it is on ground, just stay away while shooting
Oh an press L to choose what you want bonus up from doing like crafting and attack ir farming
Probably gonna take a few ep's for this to happen. Hope he doesn't freak out everytime a mob jump scares him XD
Use a tamed Cacodemon's X ability to snipe dragons. If their fireball hits an enemy it causes a TNT explosion, so I also use it for mining.

Ok first things, first, to kill a dragon you will need some stuff that is hard to get. The first thing you want to get is a dragons eye, as that effect makes you immune to the fire it breathes, that or you will have to fight it while staying underwater. To get that you need to find the remains of a dragon and harvest the bones. His exploding attack will one shot you almost always, so armour won’t do jack against it, but it will occasionally bite you and pick you up, and good armour negates it’s damage while letting you hit it a couple times in return. You will also need a summoning stuff so that you can manage manage to deal damage while you are running frantically. Try going at night, because dragons occasionally sleep and it’s a huge advantage to get the jump on them. A bow is useless because it generally won’t reach it while it’s flying. Make grave scrolls too so that you can teleport back and get back into the fight quick. I think that’s all, but I may have missed something.

Goals of the project:

Collect those heart crystal shards and heart dusts, with 9 heart crystal shard you can craft some sort of heart that gives you one permament extra heart.
Edit: Dragons also spawn in mines, i rather using a bow or some ranged stuff to kill them.
Anıl Arslan dragons do not spawn in caves or dungeons. However, if you encounter ash or burnt stone underground in a sphere there will be a dragon in the middle.
Also use the top buttons on the chest menu to organize your things quickly
Those are not mines, those are the lairs of aged, powerful dragons. The dragons you see on the surface are not even adults, they're angsty teenagers. Those who live underground in massive lairs are far more powerful with beefy melee attacks.
You also want Fire Resistance for fighting the dragons. Potions and baubles can give you them.
In fact I'm not sure how bauble-y he's been in this series. Baubles seem pretty powerful.

You wanted to know how to kill a dragon
To kill a dragon (easy way) :
1. Get a lot of heart canisters and get atleast double health but the more the better
2. Get your attack and defence to atleast 16 prefer level 24
3. Equip atleast diamond armour
4. Craft a ring of resistance and a ring of regen or 2 ring of resistance and please don't forget there's a baubles mod as well so make some of those as well
5. Get atleast iron-strengthened longbow or better, longbow being the keyword
6. Enchant your armour and weapons atleast the infinity on the bow
7. Get a lot of rabbit feet/ avian treat/dragon treat
8. Tame a hippogriff or a flying mob prefer hippogriff, and if its not a hippogriff please soulbound it also try getting a morok
9. Equip the pet armour/hippogriff armour
1p. Make a lot of arrows of different types and use whichever you want to
11. Find a dragon and go in the air
12. Strafe and shoot till the dragon dies and don't stop strafing
13. Or find a way to get the dragon in the water, they are unable to fly from water due to some kind of bug
Use the chests top buttons to organize your materials quickly

as you said... +
- Armour with all Protection on it, mine is only Iron Armour.
Mined zero Diamonds, up to now. A world record...
- Summoning Staff, and summon lots of Bats on Assist. Whilst you hide, shoot an arrow at a safe distance.
The summoned bats, shredded the Dragon I fought.
- The Heart canisters, increase your First Aid H health. So you don't get one hit. Fighting stuff and breaking spawners, gives you red heart crystals and powder to make them.
You can also find them mining, I'm finding them at level 10 whilst I'm mining.
- Wait for Dragon to land, they eventually do.
- Take a stack of empty bottles, and right click on dead Dragon with an empty bottle to get multiple Dragons Bloods. Needed for recipes and I think, breeding Dragons.
- Right click on Dragon after you've gotten its blood, and harvest it, with multiple right clicks.
Build a Fish Farm, with a 3 deep trench around where you stand in it, to catch the occasional bitey fish that you hook. I have hoppers and a chest in my trench, to get free Glowstone Dust and Lapis, from the dead fish that jump over my head into it. Add ladders in the trench, to get out, if you get knocked in.
I'm swimming in Mending Bows...

you don't need any armour. With a flying mount, the dragon just won't hit you when you circle it. You can either skip the armour or get an obi skull and it's still easy to kill the dragons.

Actually, killing a dragon is not that hard. The way I did I for the first time I took a bow and arrows and tried to shoot it. I recommend using like 2 stacks of arrows if u want to use a bow only. You can also get some cobblestone and build little hut with four holes on every side so you can shoot it from there. I was kind of lucky and my first dragon got stuck in a hole so I could use a sword on him. *Important* the dragon is gonna kill you 100 times anyway, so please don't use any armor, just a *stone* rapier (you don't wanna waste that precious iron, do ya?) and a simple bow. I also recommend not getting all your arrows into your inventory because since the dragon's hobby is killing, you will probably end up losing your arrows (just get half a stack and leave the rest in your chest, then come back for more!) Wish u luck boo! Looking forward to see you fighting that dragon
Literally just get a flying mount and use bow and strafe in on direction and you literally wont die

I have no idea. I entered creative mode and went to town on a dragon using a diamond halberd, and it took several minutes of attacking it for it to finally die. If it had been hostile and I had been in Survival, it would have blown a crater larger than a few biomes in the time it took to kill it, and I would have died every time it so much as twitched.
halberds don't work very well against dragons. If you're going to melee, a rapier will kill it at least three times quicker.
The easier option is to tame a flying mount and just circle the dragon in the air with half a stack of arrows.

It's possible with all, you just need more arrows and time for some. Your best bet early game would be an iron reinforced longbow imo

Question: How do you kill a dragon?
Answer: Fire at it with a bow while riding a Hippogriff. At least according to SystemCollapse.
In other words, you must use the BS...to destroy the BS.
There's more flying mounts than just hippogriff too. And I'd recommend he take down battletowers by just killing the boss off his mount to get the diamonds and shit.

@@TheHideout0 arrows in vanilla minecraft, if underwater for a bit, will sink, not sure if RLcraft does the same thing or make it worse
Cave dragons: make holes around the lair and shoot at it.
Above dragons: attack it from a distance with something fast you can ride.
(P.s- you can tame a dragon).

To kill a dragon first tame a grifin. You saw one this episode (13:8). Then make a nice bow and grab a lot of arrows or put infinity on the bow. When you fight the dragon fly on the same height level as the dragon an just move to the side and back. Don't forget to keep your distance because if you are far enough your grifin won't be hit but if the dragon gets to close to you your grifin will die and you will fall to your death
I have an extreme amount of respect for you for being able to remain this calm throughout the whole video.
