Stratospherical Expansion, Create, and Valkyrien Skies sounds like an incredible mod combination. Add Gravity API and set it so some mobs only spawn low down and stand upside-down, you could have some interesting mob drop scarcity. If Valkyrien Skies still has those floaty etherium crystals (doesn’t look like it) you could reskin and invert another mod’s crystalline mob with that kind of flavour.
@@stygianflame4657 I’ve been onto this for the past 5+ years, but good tech airship mods and good floating island mods just don’t exist in the same game version. Closest I’ve got was trying to get 1.12.2 Valkyrien Warfare to work with Aether II Highlands, which took so much modtweaking I gave up. 1.7.10 has Old World Gen’s sky island generation method, which someone modified to generate infinitely, and has a really neat stacking of layers of islands I’ve never seen anywhere (until now) but there aren’t any techs airship mods there. Da Vinci’s Vessels and such are ok but don’t have the same technological limitations. Create Aeronautics is in development hell and may or may not be being developed for a version of the game with broken terrain generation.
the wakes mod is nice, it fits the vanilla look and could easily be applied to a vanilla+ mod pack. I prefer the physics mod version but that takes away the vanilla feel
@@planetoforts when I use the physics mod I use it to make the oceans/bodies of water look far better than vanilla. I was just saying that its nice to have an option that fits vanilla and one that does not. I wouldnt use it the physics mod as it doesnt fit the style of that mod
I absolutely loved dynamic trees especially when I first played RL Craft. However, the mods seems to be in a bit of a pickle right now, cause most of the mods cannot nor allow to be able to play with this mod crashes, mostly because of API's but I do wish the creators of this mod will be able to fix the problems as soon as possible.
Hi AsianHalfSquat, I love this video! I know you've mainly showcased Forge/Fabric mods in the past, but I think it would be cool if you started covering Spigot plugins. There's a lot of hidden gems to be found. The benefit of using plugins is that you can enjoy a modded experience without needing a beefy computer and can manage multiplayer with a greater degree of control, customization, and optimization. I suggest checking out following plugins that are mod-like: Realistic Survival: Faithful port of the RLCraft modpack. Several modules like temperature and Spartan-themed weapons have already been completed. I think it spices up the normal survival gameplay well. (Note that I am biased as the plugin developer). Slimefun 4: A port of kitchen sink modpacks. Adds jetpacks, machines, and magic Nova: Adds custom weapons, port of WAILA, and other items. DeepStoragePlus: Adds a sorting system to Minecraft. Port of Applied Energistics 2. Craftory Tech: Adds windmills and watermills. Reminds me of Immersive Engineering. ItemsAdder: Not technically a port of anything, but adds a framework for adding items, mobs, and blocks. Oraxen: Similar to ItemsAdder, but it's supposedly easier to use?
I really wish there was a sky islands mod that added an ocean to the bottom of the world rather than being a fall directly to the void mainly so I can use all the ocean expanding mods I love
I've been wanting to get my friends back into minecraft for a while, i know theyd want to play cause they always keep up with the new updates, but cant find the passion to commit to the game to see all the features. Are there any mods you could recommend the i could install onto my server, something that they wouldnt have to install on their end, cause i know they couldnt be bothered, to where it could get them hooked on the game for at least a full day? could you make a video like that? like, "top 10 mods to show your friends" or something like that. I would appreciate it!
You probably get this a whole lot, and technically these mods are for 1.18.2, but would you mind reviewing the Star Worm Equestrian Mod and its counterparts? SWEM might not be appealing to a lot of people, but they have a whole host of mods specially made for servers such as the Star Worm Plus Mod and the Star Worm Economy Mod, but for builders, they have the Star Worm Lighting and Star Worm Deco Mods that are simply just fantastic, and I'd appreciate it a lot if you went and at least checked them out!
With all these worldgen mods, we NEED a mod that allows them to be accessible via dimensions. EVERY world type. Like, immersive portals exists and it allows you to layer dimensions ontop of each other. Imagine being able to go to up to the stratospherical expansion world, dig down into older and older worldgen types like in storymode...

What shaders do you show briefly at the end of showing the first mod Wakes? I really love that lighter edge the water has where it touches land, but i can't find the shaders that do that
Check the shader settings in Complimentary Shaders. You want World > Outline. Turn the Alternative outline on as well as "Apply to everything" then change the thickness and intensity until you like how it looks

It would be very cool if you make a video to make Minecraft as scary as possible in the latest version or the most spooky mods available in any specific version ❤
Looks like another group of mods to add to my mod pack. Heh. Thanks for the high-quality showcases! I've been expanding upon MC's zombie apocalypse for a while now but, for some reason, never thought of Zombies rising from the ground like that. Makes so much sense. V-Tweaks seems to have the right kind of tree-felling for me. I never was a fan of the floating Trees _especially_ after Mojang added bloody Fallen Trees to world gen. (Do they or do they not obey gravity? Make up your minds, Mojang. Lol.) This mod's realistic yet vanilla-style-ish tree-felling seems to fix that while not feeling out of place nor making logging too easy. I wonder if Solid Mobs would work with parkour mods like ParCool. Lol. Imagine modded parkour courses that use solid mobs as obstacles/platforms.
modding minecraft can be very infuriating since you are always missing out on amazing mods, whichever mod loader or version you choose. also wanting to have all of the newest features in the latest updates, yet only having some mods, or barely any is quite saddening. if only there was a mod loader that worked with all mods from all modloaders. its only a dream tho. :(
