Butterflies do actually have scales, somewhat. They’re only on the wings, and are actually the only insects whose wings are scaled!

I find it interesting that the frogs eat the fireflies, but they do still get poisoned, because fireflies are toxic. Tbh, that just sounds like a thing that would happen with a frog irl, lol

Flamingos and shrimp are actually both pink from eating algae that contains carotenoid pigments
so the reason why flamingos are pink isnt because they eat shrimp its because they eat shrimp as well as just sometimes eating the algae that the shrimps feed on (without the shrimp)
