Dolly Transformations: From Trash To Treasure!

Miss Lexa was a Salvation Army rescue. When my sister and I found her in a basket all by her lonesome, we couldn't help but take pity on her. This poor gal was a train wreck--I have adopted many dolls with unruly nylon hair, but very few can compete with Lexa's mane when I found her. For this reason, I decided that I would film a Dolly Transformations video featuring Lexa's dramatic makeover. One of the things I love most about collecting dolls is salvaging ones that otherwise might have been thrown out. It's a deep rooted passion that began for me when I was a little girl playing with dolls, and it is still ever present in my day to day life as an adult doll collector. I'm so glad that Colleen suggested we buy Lexa that day at the Salvation Army, because it warms my heart knowing that she now has a loving home, and looks beautiful! I hope you all enjoy Lexa's transformation--I had so much fun filming this video!
