What a beautiful place! I'm sitting here in tears. This is exactly the kind of house I always wanted on exactly the amount of land with the basement with the pond with fireplace and Country Kitchen and most of all the spring.
Fabulous little modern homestead. Well coming from the United Kingdom it’s virtually new 😉 I bought a 500 year old farm that Oliver Cromwell lived in during the siege of Corfe Castle. What wonders we found whilst renovating that property. We even found a cave in the basement that ran down to the beach. When a ship came ashore during a storm they would empty much of the cargo and use the tunnel for cover. I have so many antiques and recently inherited more when my mother passed. I was considering leaving the majority behind however, listening to you about the shortage of good antiques perhaps I should ship them over? Seriously it’s a delightful house with endless potential and I’m sure it’s new owners will be very happy with their purchase. Please do help me find soothing very special and I will bring you an antique that you will adore. I have a friend who’s very well known, James Taylor the singer and wouldn’t it be fun to have a concert somewhere local. I also know Peter Framption and a few more who might just want to join in. Even Nancy Sinatra might consider tearing herself away from California if we can do a large charity event. I’m being 100% serious about this. All I need is a suitable home please 🙏🏻

Pricing is crazy now, in 2020, I nearly bought a 40 acre property that had 1 mile of grand river frontage and a huge pond with a custom built cabin and barn for only $300k. The $495k price for this property with an old cabin is bonkers. It's a beautiful property though but not $495k beautiful.
I agree but that is the market is crazy everywhere. Everything is up 20-40 % . Value is subjective. I'd bet this will be pending in a week or less. We went to central kentucky this summer. Beautiful. We couldn't really look at houses because things were selling on 1 day. You better be ready to offer day of listing . This could be a bubble but most Real-estate people I know say this is just the new normal
Builders held back for years after the crash of '08, but they held off too long. Now there's a shortage of homes nationwide, made worse by megacorporations like Blackrock buying up tons of inventory., and builders are struggling to keep up. Mortgage rates are also low, which should continue through most of 2022 until the Fed is forced to raise the FFO interest rate, which will then affect commercial markets like mortgages.
@@johnmichael7983 no. there is no shortage; there is also no over-supply; but with Blackrock (et al.) buying and then renting to shore up their balance sheets and create an ownership / renter class...sure, you can say it's artificial, but this too will pass.
If I was working with you I’d possibly be your biggest customer 😂! I just love the feel of Kentucky and the properties you list are out of this world. I’m hooked 😎💫
