Travel Day Nashville to Mexico-First Day At Barcelo Maya Riviera Resort & Room Tour (5.22.2022)

Today we finally head out on our Mexico trip! We fly from Nashville, Tennessee to Cancun, Mexico through Houston, Texas. It was a fairly easy travel day but always stinks dragging all our luggage around. Once we landed in Cancun, we had a shuttle take us about an hour south to our resort, Barcelo Maya Riveria (Adults Only). Barcelo is huge and has multiple resorts on one property. We were in the newest resort that happens to be Adults Only as well. When we checked in, we were given a room on the 2nd floor but decided to ask for the upgrade. Ask and you shall receive! We were promptly moved to the top floor of the resort (5th floor)!! We do a full room tour to show just how awesome this resort is. We had an amazing view of the resort and the Ocean/Gulf of Mexico as well. We do a bit of exploring and head to another resort to eat at the buffet for our first night. That pretty much sums up our first day in paradise.
