This song makes me sad because my God Father died and I didn't understand this song tell he passed. Now when I hear it, it makes me and I cry. He will always be the guitar man in my eyes.
Stunning music. I was 13 when I found Bread. They moved me then and always do when I find my way back. I always come back, like an old lover that never stopped. Timeless. I wish I played but I can sing! I've lost allot of it but I'm up for practicing listening to music like this. My God.
Im 68 , happy to say we grew up with sensitive souls giving us such love through the music they found inside , a n incredible time of tuning in to love and tuning out the static of the outside world .

Saw them in Newcastle in the 90's ( I think) they were brilliant. Larry Knetchell did his ' Bridge over troubled Water and Jimmy Griffin did his 'For all we Know' David was the wonderful David. Pure magic.
Great way to learn meter by playing along with the original recordings. So many musicians speed up or slow down during a song and this beats a metronome because you can play with any quality band if you stay with their beat.😎👍☮️

Have the complete Bread songbook too, learns a few of their songs back in the 80s, when I started playing out with my guitar, I was a drummer without a band at the time.....
I'm a HARD rocker (old man but still a HARD rocker!!) But wayTF back when... when I was about 13... I had a thing for Bread. Had a couple of their albums among my (young) collection. I always had a thing for sappy pop music. :-p

Have you tried RUclips('s) 'Jerry Mungo' teaching "Summertime", and 'Nancy Wilson' teaching "Crazy on You". Very fun lessons. Not to hard to play as difficult as you'd imagine. Most of the time, in catchy popular tunes, I notice the BPM does a lot to the complexities.
Have always loved Ronnie Milsap, especially his hit song - It was almost like a song which when it came out I was maybe 18 and had just broken up with a girlfriend whom I thought was the love of my life and was crushed. But as they say life goes on and for the last 31 years I’ve been blessed to be with the love of my life. I thank God for all the blessings he has given me throughout my life. For those of us who are in the winter of our lives, what a ride we had. Wouldn’t trade the experiences for the world. Gods Blessings To You All
