Of course!

Yup
Without a doubt!
Absolutely 😢
Horikoshi wanted to make sure we got adult Uraraka being hella THICCC.
Just because Deku doesn't have One For All anymore doesn't mean he can't smash anymore.
Absolutely based Horikoshi.
Yummy
Dude she’s been getting thiccer and thiccer each arc to the point you can literally tell which arc it is just by looking at ochaco.
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.
Horikoshi can now have his well-deserved vacation break from My Hero Academia.
Now let's just pray he learned from his mistakes next time he makes a new story, sequel or whatever
@@christophervasques4510 I hope for a sequel, and izuocha be confirmed
He better get a sabbatical after this

Oda making a chapter cover to celebrate MHA ending is wild man
Really appreciate when creators support each other
I wish this creator the best even if he decides not to continue making another manga same thing for Oda as well whenever his actually ends too
He did the same thing for Naruto.
Horikoshi got his start off doing fan art of One Piece. The two are linked
Yuto Suzuki, the mangaka of Sakamoto Days, showed a main character reading volumes of MHA in the chapters' color cover spread and agree always cool to see.
Whether you like it or hate it, the one thing we can all agree on is that Horikoshi can finally rest and recover
And pray he never returns to create more shit like this 🙏let him live a good long life never creating Manga again.
My Hero Academia may have its flaws within the story, I enjoy it regardless and seeing all the characters growing up, moving on with their lives as the world becomes better in eight years and while I'm sad that it's over, Horikoshi deserves to have recognition and respect he worked really hard despite all the negativity and if he creates another story, I hope for the best for him.
That's the most incredible part to me. Horikoshi pushed through the Fandom's toxicity every time. It privacy affected what he wanted to write, but he never stopped. Incredible.
But the fandom wasn't actually toxic though, you do realise most of the fans are normal people just like you and I right?
It may not be perfect, it may be a bit rushed, we may not see Midoriya's father, but what a journey this has been. This is truly Our Hero Academia.
Just pretend his father is Zorro who got lost while picking up the milk
Indeed. A very mediocre one, but its still a Journey at least. Also, deku's father was the friends we made along the way
It was all about the hero academia we made along the way. :-}
Brooo
Where is the scene when deku and uraraka holding hand in the sky 😢
I wish Akira Toriyama was alive to give his own message to the ending of the series. Maybe even a drawing tribute one last time....
Mmmm yeah 👍 that would of been cool but still even though it'll never happen now it's still a wonderful gesture

My issue isn't with Izuku/deku having a solid job teaching the next generation.
My issue isn't with the themes in this chapter.
My issue is with the writing quality and plot holes.
So Izuku saved the world mostly, and crime is way down. Yet with the way it is worded, these old friends, not even a few of them, can find the time to hang out for like an hour or so? And for 6 to 8 years? Really? Not even just grape boy and denki grabbing some coffee with Izuku or something?
My 2nd gripe is this: what happened to Ochako's crush on deku. Last I saw it was still going. And now it's just magically gone because the series had to end? Not even a line of text stating that she moved on from her feelings?
As far as we know, the Fujoshi's won with this chapter since Horikoshi just decided to leave this sideplot unfinished. You don't do that.
I get it's a manga on a weekly or monthly schedule, but it's a big middle finger to leave plotlines like that open, when you've been hinting at something more for the entire series.
Even Hinata with her minor side character ending wasnt ignored 👀 😂
When you're an adult with a 40hr work week can't see your friends every week. Deku said it's harder to line up schedules not that he NEVER saw them.
As for ochako. Eh ya don't always get your crush from high school . Maybe it'll be put into a movie
@@DEATHxTHExKIDx1heroes aren’t as busy anymore so how do they not have time to meet up? Plus many heroes came to visit and teach a quick course during Deku’s time in school. You’re telling me that not one of them came back to do the same?
As someone who is in the time of 10 years out of college, its definitely not always easy to meet up with some of your best friends. My friends and I basically meet up in person at least once or twice a year and every time its like we haven’t been apart that long. Its very possible that they keep in touch with each other through online group chats.
@@RoflCannon6yes
a little plot hole i think is how unnaturally 'expensive' it was and how long it took to make dekus new 'suit'. the literally have yaoyoruzo to make unlimited amounts of resources to make those required items. just needs some studying available. i mean she was literally invaluable in the sky coffin in their fight with shigaraki for her quirk
And despite Momo, Iida and Shoto's weath it's BAKUGO who spent the most money on the powersuit? Somethign doesn't add up here.
Taking bets on Chibi making a video on the rumored "sequel".
he'll make a video on rumors of rumors
Just seems like a half baked and half assed ending. I respect Horikoshi, but I would've preferred a more traditional ending like FMA, where we got to see everyone living comfortable happy lives with their new careers and families. No loose ends, no open ended questions. Just a solid finale that tells the audience that the journey was worth it. MHA just finished, and I still feel like I need more just so I can get an ending that doesn't leave me feeling hollow.

I think instead of focusing on that student and Izuku encouraging him, it would have been better if all of the OG class were shown what they were up to. Other than that, it's a weird feeling when one manga finishes for good and leaves a hole in the heart.
But they did, the details where sprinkled throughout the chapter
It's morbidly poetic that in the end, Horikoshi's critique of Japanese society ended up being misinterpreted and rejected by Japanese society.
What do you mean?
Yeah I am curious about what this might have meant, when you say his criticism on Japanese society. That sound really interesting
@@elimDBZ im lost too
Gonna need some explanation of this
Did the rest of you not understand that the point of this entire Manga was that inequality in Japanese society affects the way that law enforcement treats people and that this results in resentment and violence?
I think the issue some might have with Izuku’s conclusion is that even after becoming quirkless again, the messaging feels a tad mixed. All might be got to live and perform hero work well into his 50’s and have one for all for decades while Izuku at most kept the power for 3 years in high school and his sacrifices come off as a little hollow( not necessarily fame or fortune) There is also the inclusiveness of Shigiraki and Izuku joining fists/ blood as if to hint at a twist, and also the vestiges getting no proper closure or send off and just disappearing. Those are just a few gripes I have, but perhaps we’ll get spin-offs to address different lingering plot threads.
Spin offs shouldn't be band aids for.the main series but an extension
Nah it needs a heavy reboot or retcon, or both
Horikoshi has solidified his spot as a terrible manga writer
There were signs early on, like when the league kidnapped Bakugo who benefits from the hero society dynamic.
There's quite a number of holes that will unfortunately make the story age like milk.
I'm not a young adult. I'm in my 30s. Something you learn as you get older is this: there are going to be friends who you don't talk to all that often, but you're still close and important to each other, you still know you can always turn to them, and when you do get together you pick up right where you left off like no time has passed. I could see these kids having that energy as adult friends--still tight, but just not getting to hang out and talk daily. But I can totally see them being ready to drop stuff and show up for each other is one of them was in need. I don't get to see any of my high school friends often anymore, but I have a few who are still my best friends to this day and we might all be busy with our adult lives, and separated by the different paths we've taken in life, but we're still family, we still love each other, we still have a blast when we get together, and we know that we can call each other anytime and get love/support/help/whatever we need. They're awesome relationships, and just a natural evolution of friendship as you all become adults and start really shaping your lives.
I didn't grow up with this series, as I said I'm in my 30s, so I've been adult for its entire run. But this series still means so much to me. It got me through some dark times. It helped me process some of my own childhood trauma (thank you, Todoroki fam), and it was just a fun, inspiring thing I could turn to on bad days. I never really engaged with the fandom so I never felt any of the frustration many others speak of, I just enjoyed it by myself or with some friends.
I really love this series, and I'm happy with this ending. It's not perfect, but it is good, and I'm grateful it's out there.
Bro the most important part of a manga it’s the ending. A story can be mid but if it has a good ending it becomes better. As great as Boku no Hero narrative, art, characters and progression was, the bad ending it got makes it disappointing and not a worthwhile manga to read. Think about it the only thing worst than the ending it got would be of it had been axed or if the author had consumed some medication and wrote some nonsense like in Golden boy. Don’t get too attached to mangas that are on-going because things like this happen. Boku no hero ending is bad which makes it a bad story.
@@ate7714 I mean, the difference here is I don't think it's a bad ending. I get and respect that some people do but I don't, so obviously I'm not disappointed in it like others are. Maybe it's not the ending you wanted and I get that's got to be frustrating, but I'm cool with the ending it got
Deku is the perfect definition of peaking in High school.
The other class A literally ghosted Deku for 8 years. But people can't see it.
A good example is ochako. She literally works with half of Class A members basically Work colleagues. That they can meet up outside of work. While deku aint one he literally can't have a thing in common.
He is just a quirkless person.
A good example is Cyber punk 2077. If you played the DLC and if you pick the route where they cure. You loose all your augmentation. Basically becoming a base Human in a society meant for augmented.
As V became another Faceless human and that what happen with Deku.
He literally became a rare human that is quirkless in a quirk society.
Mid ending.
That’s not what happen
@g-lo7715 Deku literally said that they and he couldn't meet up because work relationship.
While other class A work together and meet up doing hero work.
Have you ever had a job and hang out with a work college that works in the same setting as you. Is easily to meet up a person that works in the same setting than someone else that works in a different work.
Deku works in a different category. He doesn't even have teacher friends like Eraser is a good example he had friends inside the school he works in. That is life.
@@grayfullbuster1242 I was just saying that they ain’t ghost him they just haven’t been able to see each other because they busy but I’m not trying to argue or nun about it ain’t that serious.

It just the other of Class A literally have the same job. They work together out there and out there making actually connections every day.. where they can mostly hang out most of the time. Deku literally became a stranger in a sense
While deku is literally stuck in his high school era and literally went back to the same high school that he peak in.

8 whole years of reading mha and it has finally come to an end. Man, it’s been one crazy ride. I remember getting into the series back in 2016 when the anime was only 4 episodes in. Funimation was doing some character introduction videos and I thought it looked really cool. So I watched it and it became one of my favorites instantly. Mha was the first anime I watched after Naruto and dragon ball. It was also the first manga I watched too. Been reading since the first season ended. I think the issue people have is while Deku is saying he is lonely we get to see scrnes of most of the main core friend group working together. It feels jarring.
You’d think in the 8 years he’s been teaching that they would at least come by the school to do a quick course like the other heroes did. They even said heroes are less busy than they used to be so there’s zero excuse for his classmates to not come by.
I came here after reading the chapter on Viz, and in that translation Deku says "I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it [being a hero]" instead of "feeling lonely".
@@RoflCannon6 he’s only been a teacher for 6 years and the official chapter specifies it was hard for a get together due to scheduling conflicts not that none of them visited him once.

Totally garbage
if you dropped it how do you know the ending is bad
My main complain for the series is not him not becoming rich#1hero whatnot, but him being defeated by the idea of no quirk=cannot be hero. I don't mind him having on lower ranks, let's say like MUMEN RIDER from OPM, but no, he gave when clearly he really wanted to be hero and only chose to do it again because of somebody's blessing again(ofa first, then iron man suit), and not his own. Don't start on me on the budget time or anything. Like bro, allmight got his within 3 months. And even without expensive gadgets, bro could still be a low rank hero.
Edit: And think about it, he literally save someone at the beginning of series as quirkless and that idealistic heroism aspect of him stopped because he experienced the luxury of having quirk??!
My point exactly
I don’t mind the ending but we can’t act like the complaints aren’t warranted to some extent. It’s the writer who chooses to create these threads so it’s on them to answer them. We didn’t need Uravity to be in love with deku, she could’ve just been a great friend. We didn’t need Bakugo to have an unknown connection to OFA, and we didn’t need him to tell us that we’ll find out who deku father is. These are all things that the writer brought on himself, especially the Uravity content. I would’ve been perfectly fine if they were just good friends, I truly believe she didn’t need to be in love with Deku since S1 because we can have female anime characters who aren’t the love interest. Same way in a movie you can have two main characters of the opposite sex who aren’t attracted to each other, it’s not impossible.
Exactly

It is strange, but even THIS chapter felt rushed.
That's because it IS!
Yes, it should have been double- or triple- length in order to fit everything in. I'm not saying Horikoshi should have tried to write such an extended chapter in one week, but I'd rather have authors take the time to do it right rather than rush it and have the quality suffer, even if it means a month-long hiatus before the finale.

My honest opinion. The ending was mid, really don't feel like there was much of a payoff . Left a lot to be desired, no ships, and izuku ended up a loser when compared to his friends😂 he gave everything to just have a 9-5 and no one talking to him. Yes he gets it back in a way, but this just screams that McDonald's meme to me and i do think that it is cowardly to write this emotional build up, speak on love, make it fit into multiple plot points, then never give a payoff.
Thanks for making this video a bit longer than usual. Mad respect bro 🙏
I thought Horikoshi said that we r gonna see deku's dad..but where is he?
Indeed. This is why many people date others who are in similar job careers. Many celebs date other celebs for example since well, they are busy. It is difficult to make time for someone when they are traveling all the time, busy in there field. But dating someone who also does the same kind of work not only brings easier understanding, but likely more time together if you're both involved in the same projects and stuff. Makes sense, that is life
Chibi you ain’t slick you know what you doing making that thumbnail
I wonder if we’ll get another MHA movie after your next. However, this one will be completely canon to the series, written by the creator kohei horikoshi, and set after ch 429 but before ch 430. It will be a completely new adventure for Deku and his friends while maybe filling up some unanswered questions that the series didn’t have time to address. Kinda similar to what masashi kishimoto did with the last: Naruto the movie. That could be something interesting and cool to see.
Regardless how the series goes on, the manga was nothing if not exciting.
Depends the thing with Kishimoto is that the dude still wanted to do something more with Naruto right after it ended (the lst Naruto Movie happened when the anime still havent't even finished the war arc yet). I feel like Horikoshi will probably rest for while.
You know I was 19 when this manga started and I got the first chapter read online but I didn't think anything of it until Season One became a thing. After which it sort of dominated my mid 20s and now its really ending.
Its strange how I identify more with this Shonen and Dragonball then I do Bleach Naruto and One Piece despite having literally been the right generational age range for them.
I don't mind the shipping not happening but all that build-up for Ochahco's feelings for Izuku and vice versa was a waste of potential in the earlier chapters.
@@brainstorm006 I don't care if nobody else got confirmed but the author really should have let uraraka express her feelings. For the people saying it was a bad ending bc Deku isn’t the greatest hero and lost his quirk in end missed the entire point Horikoshi made in chapter 1, throughout the series and don’t know what it means to be a true hero, Deku IS the greatest hero in the end .
The lion isn’t the king of the jungle bc it is the strongest, fastest or biggest it’s the king bc of its heart, bc of its mentality. It’s Deku’s mentality, it’s his heart that makes him the greatest hero. His ability to move without thinking to help someone, being able to inspire/motivate not just his friends, but civilians, other heroes, the whole world and even All might himself into realizing anyone can be a great hero with or without a Quirk and you don’t need to save the world or perform some amazing hero feat to be one, being able to sacrifice himself for others, trying to save the day even when he had NO ARMS AND NO QUIRK etc.
Most of yall missed that point. I understand yall wanted him to be famous and be recognized, but he is it’s literally confirmed in this chapter, it’s just not in way yall wanted it. Yall wanted him to be rich, famous and worldwide like All might. yall wanted him to have brand deals, statues and be in the popularity rankings. Does he deserve all that? Yes. But does he want it? No. He never wanted that stuff Deku just wanted to be a great hero like All might not in status but character, he wanted to save lives and inspire people which he did. Yeah he lost his quirk but he CHOSE to give that up to save Tenko/Shigiraki and defeat AFO. He sacrificed the thing he worked so hard to achieve and what got him this far to save one person even though he could’ve just killed him without trying to save him and kept his quirk(yes Shigiraki still died but Deku still managed to save him ifykyk) but yall think he’s not the greatest hero?
If yall tying being the Greatest hero with fame, fortune, status, statues, being on a popularity poll and such then news flash that’s not what the greatest hero means yall need to look beyond just the superficial and see what Horikoshi has been telling us since chapter 1.
Exactly. People took greatest hero at chapter 1 at word value. Greatest hero during the time of all might and the actual meaning of greatest hero what deku envisioned is very different
An educated guess would tell the audience it would go either ways...being the next all might for the world or becoming an idealistically all might to his close ones and students.
Ppl just mad that deku aint op and other characters shined.
But deku fought on borrowed power. His true power has his personality.
Its poetic that even as quirkless , being a hero is possible for him and he does not have to be outcasted anymore
I never even read the manga and this still hit me in the heart
Bro said anything 🌟 ❤ 🎊. Finally someone with a common sense
Bro didn’t even get the girl would have made it better for me.
@@ricky-chinaudio how tf is it mental gymnastics when his goal was to become a hero which he did and he literally became a pro hero at the end of the chapter, you literally don’t read the chapters
There was one character in the entire group I am very surprised didn't change at all which I was more expecting a change and that was the invisible girl.
She still as invisible as ever but I was expecting to see her face more or something I'm kind of surprised.
Damn I forgot about her
The majula OST honestly was the best feeling for this ending, nothing is bittersweet as that place. Somehow in the darkest day we can return to MHA, like Majula, and remember the amazing journey we had. It will always feel like home and carry that nostalgic feeling with it. The end could've been better, but im fine with it. At least Horikoshi was able to write his own ending.
Ending was lacklustre and the final arc was one of the worst arcs they had.
But the start up to the middle of the story was a good 9/10.
So in general I’d say MHA is a good 7.5/10, also Naruto shippuden is barely an 8.5/10 for me before anyone says this score is too low.
Chibi I remember the time when i got in more anime seriously. Those days are kill la kill, akama ga kill, hunter x hunter and alot others. I sub you when you were at 45000 sub and one of the manga you recommended was My Hero right when Naruto and Bleach ended,it was like the first 20 chapter where translated and from then on you review it weekly. Now, 10 years later, it comes to a close. Im not going to lie I cry a bit seeing my favorite story go it harder to find story that had lasted this long. I just want say thx to you Chibi for recommend this series, it had an incredible ride from the beginning to the end. I dont know what i would read next. Hopefully it would be the next manga you recommend, but with that said piece out Chibi.😊
What I do agree with is the bad decisions made to focus on Endeavor so much. Endeavor took too much spotlight. Deku lost out on a lot of time to develop with other things because he had to push the Endeavor stuff so much. Deku got screwed over quite a lot in the series and he has always been my favorite. It sucks to see.
If it is any solace there is still the anime ongoing, pretty sure the ending will hit quite different with the right OST and animation.
And movie
I did really like how he starts overanalysing and thinking how to use the kids weird quirk, evidence for how he’d be a perfect teacher.
Meanwhile, Twitter: “lol wagecuck, Maidenless, L+Ratio”

why would you work so hard for MINIMUM WAGE BRO!?!,he didnt even get recognized the way he deserved (saving the world)
@@ManlyServant true, they really just forgot deku existed after he served his purpose to save the world, makes you wish the villains won.
Dude, at most had had one for all for three years. Also, he’s only like 24 he should be in no rush to teach the next generation after all some of the most powerful heroes of the last generation could easily fill that role since a lot of them were crippled pretty badly.
The ones from his generation or at physical form The fact that he doesn’t have any quirk or really anything at all is just disappointing. The fact that it took them eight years to get that suit is also kind of insulting.
Bro reached his peak in his life in his junior year of high school😂😂😂
26. That prefrontal cortex is fully formed baby!
Man Stan Lee would’ve been so proud of Horikoshi since MHA was mostly inspired by Marvel and DC comics and how it inspires a whole generation of Anime Fans, if he were with us today he’ll probably had a interview with horikoshi about MHA but more importantly I wasn’t expecting a 8 year timeskip where the characters are older already living their dreams as Real Pro-Heroes especially having izuku and ochako’s confession happen off screen and pass their UA graduation even though they just became Class 2A and I’ll be honest it feels like the Ending was rushed of how they did a timeskip halfway through the chapter towards the Ending also there’s still a lot of unanswered questions like the mystery of izuku’s Absent father but overall I’m gonna miss MHA. As Dr. Seuss once said “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened😁” So thank you MHA and Thank you horikoshi sensei 😁👍🏾
I guess that truly make sense 😂
About the IzuOcha in confession outside the story is a good ideal due to the chaos of the fandom, and in order to avoid the toxic fandom to straight up killing each other because ships 😂
Nah I like to imagine he's reaction would be
"Damn and here I thought marvel treated spider man like shit "
This ending was all over the place man, no consequences from previous chapters, eri is all well with her horn, backugou not only should have been dead but he gets his arm back, no relationship building on the gang, deku being left behind, i mean couldn't they do the tech stuff right from the beginning? And oh boy i have more but i realize i just did a testament lol.
The one thing that bothers me about this ending is Deku becoming a teacher at such young age *BEFORE* retiring as a hero. Yeeeeeeeah the ambers are gone, OFA is gone and it's okay, it served it's purpose and Deku definitely left his mark with it. But I just don't get why he wouldn't actively pursue continuing to be a hero while 'quirkless'.
What I mean in specific is that it would feel better to switch the order of things. We could've been shown a bigger timeskip of a now retired Professor Deku and known that he was a great quirkless hero, that managed it with support itens and his own intellect.
It is cool to imagine him as a UA teacher, even more considering he's Kota's teacher too (possibly also Eri's) but it's just bitter and a bit out of character for him to 'give up' on being a hero for 6 years just because he's quirkless now.
It didn't have to be hero work but managing a hero agency
You could say that being a teacher, is like being a hero especially teaching at a hero school. Maybe that's what he was going for.
@@thetele8646 yeah, I like it really, I think being a teacher fits so well with Deku's character, I just wish it had happened later and not earlier in the order of things.
@@sonny167349 fair enough.
UA teachers aren't retired heroes; they are active heroes currently training new heroes. That's precisely how the military works: officers get rotated into instructor roles to train successors and then get rotated back to the field.
I’m glad I dropped this when bakugo got kidnapped
Idk if people will be intrested in my take but here it is.
I think this ending is great for what it was. Deku not being able to see his friends after graduating because of conflicting schedules is very real but that doesn't mean he still doesn't talk to them. Deku becoming a teacher at UA I think is perfect because he's still a hero in his own right. He inspires people to be better and helps them belive in themselves. The real ending is great too. He gets to live his dream life again thanks to the people he's inspired to be better.
Chibi fun fact, I started watching you because of your My Hero S1 episode reviews. You were one of the only people covering it at the time. What a journey.
There's still a question which horikoshi never answered why didn't we see deku dad in the ending?
I’m not going lie this ending is kind of trash why was this short and rushed it didn’t give any closure to a lot of the characters where was izukus father?? Horikoshi said he was going to address that. Izuku didn’t really interact with a lot of friends like what after everything that happens and the whole thing of “Their busy” excuse is stupid like what??? I might get hate but I feel bleach’s final chapter was better then this I’m sorry. A personal disappointment for me is like you said is no confirmation on pairings I’m really irritated by that I like my romance. This was just disappointing I’ve been following my hero since season 2 of the anime started and this is the ending we got? I don’t mean to sound negative but this could have been a lot more
you literally are misinterpreting things. They are still interacting the line more so that they haven't really have an "entire class reunion/get together. Deku works at UA. Like some of his friends will obviously be invited for special events at UA like the tournament and internship stuff.
Also the line Dialogue itself implies they do talk with each other in some ways 'because they tried to line their schedule up to try to plan meet ups" but then again they have scheduling issues.
in short they still talk with each other meaning they still "INTERACT" with each other.
@@Snzn_7 Ok fine but my main problem Is Horikoshi didn’t resolve plot lines that I was looking forward to see but unfortunately it didn’t happen. I just despise open ended endings with anything.
Honestly as a FICTIONAL story and narrative and the moment that Deku didn't contact his friends felt very unsatisfying and Hori DIDN'T have to write it this way
I'm not reading this for realism
I think I speak for everyone when I say Horikoshi has earned a well deserved rest for a while. The ending wasn’t perfect but I loved it. It sucks but I’ll always have such wonderful memories.
10 years already?? Heros never die
One piece outlasted another series
I honestly think the only thing legitimately missing was Ochaco confessing to Deku. And I also think that the epilogue needed some more time to flesh stuff out, but I think the content and ending itself is great.
it is enough, Horikoshi also probably would like to "really rest" so he did not go explicit with the Ochaco thing since even if people who actually comprehends the manga understand the Ochaco thing. That will still kick up a shitstorm you don't want to deal with if you are planning to peacefully rest and end your manga
@@Snzn_7 it isn't, it's pure cowardice
@@ratedr7845 no since it made so MHA live rent free shippers end. He did not give a definite answer thus the shipping wars still rages on after the series had ended

I started reading it because of you reviewing the first chapter those 10 years ago, so thank YOU for doing that.

Thank you, Horikoshi-sensei. Despite the series' flaws, it was a fun read, and it feels weird knowing that there won't be any new chapters going forward. To add to my previous comment
You know how I completely rant about things in the story throughtout its run...I only realize this at the ending, That this story is whole heartily made for kids, its made with the concept of instilling the believe of a Hero WHO will Always win, yes its a Shonen manga and there are some aspect of it for young adults but the core of it it is showing kids that a hero will overcome anything. If anyone of us still remember watching the 90s Superman and batman animated shows we will remember this concept. However ALL this does is make things redundant- having written Villains do things or not do it the way they should as their character is written to eventually give a FORTUNATE Opportunity for the heroes who are written to be competent and with every aspect of opportunity to triumph over the villains, cuz -There was NO Threat
As we age loneliness just increases 😢 that is reality
I am mix about i found the ending one of the very best done in many years but at the same time it feels like it could have given so much more
I’m mostly joking when I say this, but if I were in Deku’s position irl I would be so upset lol. Bro is the definition of peaking in high school, and to make matters worse, all of his friends went on to be successful heroes while he’s just working at U.A. 😭🙏
Unfortunately that's life 🥲 but hey atleast in end gets some powers due to his new suit
@@190mohammedyasin6 conselation prize after saving the world from a multi-generational threat is wild
Also, I get that MHA had a lot of characters that kept surviving, but I think there's more to a story than constantly killing characters, regardless of it makes sense or not. Maybe he should have killer a few more such as Gran Torino, but Bakugo and All Might are two characters that should NOT die, and Horikoshi keeping them both alive was some of the best writing decisions in the manga.
Bakugo clearly had more to do as he's still young, and his defining moment of saving All Might's life is huge as All Might fought and ended his career to save Bakugo.
All Might surviving is beautiful because he's worked so hard to protect and build up society, and he deserves to sit back and watch the next generation continue where he left off, but handle things in a different direction. Like, are we also forgetting his whole arc about learning to live?
I think the unapologetic, optimistic message that MHA tries to give about heroism is just...completely lost in favor of wanting something more dark and gritty. There's only Shonen and Western Superhero stories out there that does that.
Why is no one talking about the thumbnail😂😂its wild lol
All of Chibi's thoughts on MHA as a whole are my thoughts exactly. Certain characters should have died and didn't. Characters that did die were truly wasted because they died. Etc.
