I would first build low-time cost buildings like army base in every city, then build recruiting offices and then build arms industries in cities you need resources or you need to build navy/airforce. This way you get early defense.

I play on my phone so it's possible not the same. But what I like to do is build a army base in 2 cities and do research on basic infantry. For level.1 army base and basic inf research it's only takes 30 seconds. Then you can praduce 2 extra basic infry and then build local industry in said 2.cities
See I tend to disagree. My strategy is army bases, recruiting offices, arms industries in EVERY city. Research infantry and recon/or ASF (air superiority fighter), and start making them in all the cities. I also tend to send my troops to capture ‘bot’ nations in silver, they have less guys and it’s basically free territory. I also, once initial research is done, build an Infantry Officer in a city. They boost damage and speed for troops. If I don’t have the resources for this, I tend to buy them in the market. I tend to focus airpower, with elite strike or regular strike fighters and tanks, elite or otherwise. I don’t research navy until day 10-15 in x4 maps or day 7-8 in regular speed. Can you give a brief summary of the video? I was confused when I read it with subtitles. What are we building in the first cities? Also, which are the first soldiers we are opening?
You can’t always go off of statistics because some people might have just started and sucked their first four games or so but then learn how to play in our beasts. I ran into a good number of them one a few games with people that had horrible statistics.
Disagree with making combat bases, that’s a lot of resources to use to win skirmishes, better off letting them have the provinces and sit in the cities and have bunkers
I personally don't like it on the traditional 4x map because you got usa up north and then just bot countries, it's also too slow for me due to the amazon terrains. As for Brazil It's quite nice, Geography location is good, and the resource production is amazing. However with Brazil it's important to play the diplomacy game well or you'll just be attacked from all sides
In your opinion what should I research as UK? I have played a game before playing the UK but they were all ai so I'm not sure what to research, I have a coalition with Ireland and Spain and I have conquered Scotland, Do you have any suggestions on what I should research??

I use helos mostly because they can kill a lot of infantry on day one so early in the game and then I switch to a balance of strike jets and helos

A lot of navy; cruisers and Submarines. You're basically untouchable if you have that, since it's an island. Also which gamemode are you playing?
