    Joe,
    Great video. I agree with you, the microphone that comes with the Dasaita unit is horrible. I went on the Enfig website to order the replacement microphone for my Dasaita head unit and there were three different options to choose from for microphones. What option did you choose? Mic-Toy 1, 2 or 3? When you ordered yours, did you have Dasaita send you your microphone without the
    3.5mm to 2.5mm converter? Also, do I still need to order the adapter plug from Dasaita?
    Thanks

    Does the Dasaita mic not have a long enough wire to wire it through the same way you di for the Enfig mic?

    • @ProjectAbate
      @ProjectAbate  7 месяцев назад

      It’s not long enough. That’s not the issue though. The issue is that microphone does not fit in the original microphone housing. It is was too big. The Enfig one is made to scale with the OEM one

  • @CRISZTO
    @CRISZTO 9 месяцев назад +1

    I didn’t see the link to the adapter, I’m planning on doing this exact upgrade to my 4Runner. Does the oem camera work with this? And is that dash cam the dasaita one or a different after market one

    • @ProjectAbate

      You can message Dasaita on Facebook or Instagram for the adapter but I’ll shoot them a message and get you a link!
      Yes, OEM camera works flawlessly. It’s just on a way larger screen lol.

    Just installed but still the mic on the head unit is the one working.. I have checked for multiple times if there is anything loosen hook up but all are tight. Did you have to go factory setting - mic - internal/external option? I did try all that but so far no clue why it is not working. When I put that adaptor on the back, should the mic on the console stop working? I tried just hook up the adaptor only without the enfig mic, but I can still talk thru the mic on the console. I am reaching out to dasaita as well now. Hope I can figure it out soon. Let me know if any idea. Thanks.

    • @ProjectAbate
      @ProjectAbate  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! So I don’t believe there is a way to disable the internal mic from the settings. I think they work in unison. Hope this helps

    • @kevinpark7742
      @kevinpark7742 5 месяцев назад

      I found that they actually BOTH working. I was under the impression that the mic on the console should not work when you install the enfig mic. I wonder how to mute the mic on the console then I can see if there is any quality improvement. If I find a way, let me update you. Please try to blow over the mic on the console to see if you hear wind noise still that way you can see if they BOTH working at the same time.
