- Tour the Enchantment of the Seas cruise ship, and check out what to expect for food and entertainment/activities onboard. The Enchantment OTS is one of the smaller and older Royal Caribbean ships, and she does shows her age. But it was still quite enjoyable with good food at the main dining room, wide variety of choice at the Windjammer buffet, and the various fun, family-friendly activities and shows. We also included a sample Cruise Compass (Royal Caribbean's daily schedule of events) from this cruise.
This deck-by-deck tour was from our February 2020 5 day Western Caribbean cruise on the Enchantment sailing out of Galveston, Texas. The ports we visited were Progreso (see our video on our visit here: • Progreso Mexico Cruise... ) & Cozumel.

Thanks for posting this video… We just booked a Cruise on the enchantment… We have cruised on her numerous times out of Baltimore… Glad she is back in Baltimore… I know she is small but she is an elegant ship....If all goes well we will be sailing February 2022...

Hello TravelTouristFamily, nice to see more videos from your February trip. I remember that seafood tower you were eating from a prior video. At this moment Jill and I should be on the Celebrity Summit for our first evening heading down to Bermuda. So I bought pepperoni and sausage pizza for us at 4 PM when the Summit would have left the port in New Jersey. A small consolation so I told Jill make believe it was from the buffet LOL. At any rate we're booked for May 2021 on Summit to Bermuda and February 2022 to Eastern Caribbean. Let's hope things are better in 2021 so cruising can resume. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut and if you're ever out our way in Connecticut, drop on by, we'd like to see you.
That is a fun idea Bob- I hope you and Jill liked the pizza & enjoyed the evening! We certainly miss cruising as well, and hopefully in less than a year everyone can start sailing again. Went on the RCL Odyssey of the Seas, 12/12/21 (new ship) & the Carnival Freedom, 03/20/22
(older ship) & am considering going on the Enchantment of the Seas, 06/02/22, out of Baltimore,
but am concerned about the ship's age (25 yrs.) ,size, 82k tons & sufficient activities for a 9 day
cruise! This video helps, but reminds me of cruises I took, 2 decades ago! Still considering, but thanks!

Yes they have an outside walking area on Deck 6, but the couple of times we walked there they blocked off certain areas so we couldn't make a full circle. Take care and thanks for commenting! 🙏

My Husband & I were thinking about going on this ship in August 2022 but I’ve only been on one cruise years ago (Carnival) & all the food & beverages were included in the price (unless you went to a higher end dining restaurant or ordered a “fancy” alcoholic drink) Has that changed because I now see food & drink packages & I’m confused.
Nope all the food & non-alcoholic drinks like coffee, tea, water, juice-infused water are still included. The cruise lines are trying to push for guests to purchase specialty dining & beverage packages (sodas, cocktails, wine, beer, specialty coffee), but those are definitely optional. In fact we usually don't get them, though we might go to a specialty restaurant or two.
First of all, Kind Sir, keep that lovely woman off the Level 6 shops. Undoubtedly , your end of cruise bill was $67,538,532.73 and exactly zero of the bounty was for you. But I digress.
I’m not sure to be depressed or not. I was supposed to be on this vessel in May with my son and his gf. But somewhere in the world somebody sneezed on someone else, and then they sneezed on someone (and so on...).
But seriously, a spectacular tour. You captured the sights, sounds, essence and energy. You have a true talent for ship cinematography and are genius at food shooting.
Perhaps one day we’ll sail again, and if so blessed, I’ll see my favorite cruise guides in person. I’ll be the short fat grouchy old man with crumbs and stains on his shirt.

Lol yes some good stuff there at the shops for sure! That's unfortunate about your cruise- we miss cruising a ton as well. Making this video reminded us of all that energy, vibe, and fun you mentioned that are the essence of cruising. That sounds like a nice collection! Yeah as far as I know Royal Caribbean only sells their stuff on their shops on cruise ships. I thought $33 was a little pricey for that one though.

This was a nice cruise actually- we took it right before the pandemic shut things down in March 2020. This is a smaller Royal ship but we still had a fun time- good service, food & activities.
