- This video features a highly modified BMW 635CSi that produces more than 1200HP on E85! It's powered by its original S38B36 engine, but it has been fully built; 95mm Bore, CP Pistons, Ported head, Custom 290-degree Camshafts, PPF Exhaust Manifold, 50mm Individual Throttle Bodies, PT 7675 Precision Gen 2 Turbocharger, S54 Gearbox and Tilton Twin Plate Clutch.

Forget that it’s fast. That particular BMW model is one of their best looking cars of all time. Not like the models out now.

Hoeveel pk en boost had ie in drze video? Klinkt namelijk niet als 1000+ . Had ie 600-700 pk in deze video? Niet om te haten trouwens , vind t echt een fucking dikke build, ben gewoon nieuwsgierig.

zafert85 Nee, vandaag reed die op benzine, iets meer dan 800pk - Op E85 draait ie 1.200pk @ 2.0 bar. Ze zijn vanuit Rotterdam naar Oss gereden en weer terug. Vol vermogen zou wel risky zijn dan hè 😄
@@automotim6780 aah okay, ben je van plan de BOV te vervangen? Deze klinkt een beetje als een ricer door die BOV. Ik herhaal nogmaals voor derest is t een erg dikke build

This car is amazing, we did some extensive chassis reinforcement on it for Tim who built it, since the E24 chassis are notoriously weak. Probably the only E24 that doesn't need constant door fitment adjusting :)
Einzel Motorsport what was done? underbody cross braces? or welded steel sheets on the underbody?
DoriFord I wish it was that simple :) we looked into underbody bracing, didn't go well with the real estate under the car and would be at least 3cm lower. Also sheets is not great, since tech checkup requires exposed lines for inspection. So we cut out the complete sills and welded a hardened steel profile inside, and replaced the sills after. Only with carpet out its slightly visible. Makes the car super sturdy. Did the same to my M535i some ten years ago

@@junish4187 no this is the same setup and turbo, 1206hp on 2.0bar on e85r, now it's on 830hp on 98pump fuel.

Heb er 2 gehad, een 633csi en een 635csi. De eerste had een 4-bak en de tweede een 5-bak.
De 633csi was voor m'n gevoel veel sneller en zag eruit zoals die in de video. Helaas gecrashed op de A1 afslag Diemen, een paar bejaarden stonden stil op de in-uitvoegstrook. 😥

I hear ya. I’ve been hated on for decades building custom Bimmers and you’re definitely not a hater. I was expecting the same, cool high speed acceleration. Destroying tires ? It could be done far less a HP. Do I believe 1200 possible ? Yes. S38 with a turbo that size is easily capable provided the airflow and internals and tune are up to it. I’d love to see this car in California on the dry lakes. Land Speed Weekend. That would be a video we would remember. Nevertheless fun stuff.

1:46 IMO that was the best BMW burnout I’ve ever seen. He was really flexin that torque. Probably was a 3k rpm and still had power to burn rubber.
he revs up to the limiter dude.. otherwise he cant start it. If wheels are spinning not so much power needed to keep it up.
