Someone, somewhere down under, took my car out for a ride while I was sleeping.
He/she/they slapped a shotgun on his camera to grab raw tunes of recently fitted color matched carbon plenum.
My 2x pennies:
- The money zone for this plenum is 3 to 5,000 RPM - it’s rather guttural and lets new frequencies through the cabin.
- The volume is enhanced across the board, velveted in a bassi’er tone than OEM.
- The top end, redline starts to shriek right before shifts.
If you want more sound, you’ll find it with a carbon lid over the filter. The elbow is 3rd most impactful.
I do my best to give it to you straight. Say no to the Fugazi, say no to under hood microphones to falsely advertise products.

On another note, been testing new presentation formats to steer clear of the usual “look at me!” selfie blogs.
Let me know what you think about voice over presentations. It’s easier to do than try to record clean voice cuts when I film, wrench, sweat and forget to do my cardio.
