    Great content. Many sellers would challenge you on having over 100% sell thru rate because they just believe what Google says and they do not understand supply and demand as you discussed early in the video. I apply what you are doing with the 90 days and when the solds for 90 days out number the supply listed the last 90 days , the items I pick up generally sell within a week.

    • @TheRealDemanda
      @TheRealDemanda 5 месяцев назад

      @BoofYou you're not taking into account that many of them have been listed before the 90 day period, so even though more sold during the 90 days, doesn't mean that's the total quantity on the site. The amount available is from all time. The amount sold is only from 90 days. Does that make sense?

    So, I’ve seen you pop up from time to time on my feed; first time watching you, very nice. I concur with the compliments lauded you here on your presentation & content.
    Every single time I hear anybody mention KUHL, my personal favorite brand one that I collect & wear all the time along with my 511s, I just say, well I wonder when the other shoes gonna drop and it’s gonna become the free people of men’s wear! 😢
    I sure hope not but as an indicator, I have both pants and shorts still sitting in inventory that a year ago and certainly before that would’ve flown out the door, and we haven’t priced them out of reach. I think it’s more to do with the algorithm and how jacked around eBay is right now, and has been; KUHLs not really a Poshmark brand, so I’m not really trying to compare performance over on that platform. And lastly, that Rugby brand, I’ve always passed it by never looked it up or picked it up, I guess I have to take a second look and check the comps the next time I stumble upon it. And first time for the Fabletics was last week haven’t listed them yet, but they were really nice feeling & looking, the way they presented when I found them on the rack I guess I always thought like many people that they were Fila - with that F logo - so that might be a reason why they still have strong comps. Thanks bro.

      There’s a crap ton of brands that at 10.99 still offer quite a bit of meat on the bone, I’ve paid up to $30 for pants to make good money, you just have to know what you’re doing and it takes time, some risk, which earns experience, and also be willing to man up to make that extra coin.
      But then the other side of the equation is those who are “bins sourcers”, and the opportunity to REALLY crush it - what, with practically zero COGS (unless you factor in one’s time which that’s going to very depending person to person). I myself would rather have the $10 an hour employees sort my clothes for me and then I can just basically glide through the entire section & not have to deal with all the effluvia.. wedding gowns, kids clothes, underwear, and hard goods.. and then the heartbreak of finding one rare Jordan and not being able to find the other one or such and such. Not to mention the piranha like atmosphere, and my fear of getting pricked by a tainted hypodermic needle, razor blade, or something. Yeah no thanks.

    • @Secondliferacquet
      @Secondliferacquet 5 месяцев назад +1

      This is all true but I’d rather hide my time at yard sales or Savers and snatch them up for 4 or $5. Goodwills prices are on par with Walmart in these parts😛

    • @BusyBeeCompany
      @BusyBeeCompany 5 месяцев назад

      @pkzenk2158 but 10.99 is a kick too far when your costs are hitting 20% then allowing for extra shipping, it's not worth the risk, I'd rather to a $4 to $20 then risk an $11 to $25...but 8m a yard sale demon.,turn $10 into $200 or thus weekend $25 into $500 plus.

    200 sell through rate? What they sell before you get them listed, what happened to common sense. In reality you can't really even have a 100 percent sell through rate, if you did none would ever be found for sale they would all be found in solds. 100 percent sell through rate in what time line, ebay's 3 months? All of them would of had to been sold out within 3 months, but how long were they really listed for? Ebay doesn't tell you that they have been listed for 6 years and eventually sold. Sell through rate is another gimmick that ebayer's are clinging to it helps them make sense of what is going on. There used to be a list and forget it, then list lots of items and let them sit until they sell, now its high profit, fast turnover, small stores. It's all the same thing, after awhile it will be list it and forget it again. Same stuff different day.

    • @Mike1-
      @Mike1- 5 месяцев назад +16

      Lmao 😂 what are you talking about he is right . If 100% sale through rate is an item that sells in 90 days . Then if an item sells in 60 days it’ll be 200% also if it sells in a month 30 days resellers consider that item a 300% sale through rate . You clearly don’t know the lingo or resealing overall 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @helpfulcommenter
      @helpfulcommenter 4 месяца назад +4

      I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here but if you apply sell-through rate as this RUclipsr is applying it, you will find that your sales increase dramatically by sourcing things that have a much higher demand, which you can easily gauge by comparing sold comps to actives. And yes, the resulting percentages are a shorthand for this demand. Saying "200% Sell Through" means the item's demand is outpacing the availability twofold. 150% sell through indicates the demand is outpacing availability by a factor of 1.5x
      There's a lot of ways to say it, but they all work to help figure out items that are in high demand and will sell quickly.
      But hey, maybe everyone who applies this concept of sell-through is a fool in your mind, though in my experience, it works like a charm.
