This is why the PC version is better. I've played both and the xbox version feels very cut down. Like every ship shown here has the super ship rating yet all are tier 10 on PC. Why wargaming made it different on Xbox I don't know.
Napoli and Stalingrad are the most underrated cruisers at LT. Nearly impossible to kill, insane accuracy 90% of the time. Napoli is crazy maneuverable with OP concealment stats, plus useful SAP secondaries. Stalingrad is the only cruiser where I can citadel a Montana from 17km

Worcester is brain dead good. Like you can play while blackout drunk and drop 200k. Ship turns on a dime so it damn near can be hit and still has a fantastic bow. Also the guns fire nearly constantly and have nutty fire chance.
I always hated the destroyers but I've been watching different clips on how to play them well. I get your point on finding them boring when you play them the way you should. I realized that you get points for the damage caused when you are spotting so that helped me start to embrace them more. I would run in to cap, do a J hook to face out and a cruiser would pop radar and the entire team would fire. Even with facing out, one shot seemed to shut down my engines and then I would get slaughtered so I had to learn what cruisers had radar and try to stay clear of that range. I've not even been playing 6 months so I'm in awe at how much some of you guys know about all the different ships in the game. My first Bureau projects should complete in the next week or 2. I'm starting with the Yamato and Z-52 but I'll use your guide on the next picks.

My first DD was the Shimi, I still enjoy playing that nightmare of a DD. However I do enjoy my Gearing very much it allows me to counter the other shimi players and have impact at range in smoke on larger targets. I recently unlocked both the Des Moines and Worcester. Love them very much. I am currently working on the Yamato since I do not have a legendary BB yet can't go wrong with the King of big guns.
Alaska and kaba are probably my 2 favourite legendary ships. Alaska on 14 second reload is good for hunting dds , deleting cruisers and chunking bbs. Kaba is a perfect dd hunter killer for me.
Excellent info given to new players Montana has the heaviest broadside in the game that revivals an bow tank Yamato... She's actually a beast if you know how to play her. Which is in reverse, sure Conquerer has the deadliest HE hits but Montana has the Accuracy. An Khabarovsk She's really a annoying dd you need soundwave to use her at full protential. An now these new mods have made broken ships more broken.
Khabarovsk is very fun to play and potent aswell in my opinion. I play mine with an epic range mod that can get you up to 16km. Couple that with its high speed, high hp pool, a 40% ruddershift mod and it's pretty much like playing a firespamming kiting cruiser, that can't get citadeled 👍
Hi Peek, for the Alaska, it’s all about position. You gotta have teamates that know what they’re doing! This boat is a beast in the right hand! Always 2+ kills and minimum 100k dmg each game i’m in it! Would be nice to play with some of you guys in the future!
What Peek said about Alaska is total fact. Overall it a very good ship; an agile battleship by any stretch of the imagination. However, if the Popeye event has showed us anything, the Alaska doesn't compete well with multitudes of Des Moines and Worcester's I've been playing against. Alaska doesn't shoot from behind islands as well (it's a battleship), has a slower reload (it's a battleship), and makes a bigger target (it's a battleship). Alaska compares better with battleships than it does with cruisers, but there's little chance of it standing toe to toe with any of the legendary tier battleships presently in the game. But I still love it and have many great games playing it. I just don't play it as a traditional cruiser.
If your struggling to beat cruisers in alaska you are probably playing it wrong, no offence, because it doesn't overpen, is much more accurate and fires twice as quick battleships

Good review, I can't argue with any of your points. For me I wasn't in any rush to get any of the legendary ships when I started but I did however pick the projects that I could research faster, for example ones I had ships and commanders to boost them so as to get the rewards, I'm not necessarily recommending it to do that way but it's the way I did it because that's what I wanted to prioritise. I wasn't in any rush to get into legendary tier as I wanted to learn the game before being a liability to my team. Thanks for vid Peek, good review.
Quick question, about how long does it take to finish a research to get the ship? I just started playing this game again after being gone for a long time. I came back and now there are aircraft carriers, the bureau, so many new countries and captains. It's like a whole new game lol. I started the research on the Yamato and the Japanese destroyer since I mainly play Japanese destroyers for their long range torpedoes. I just finished stage 1 of the research and I'm pretty sure it took like a week lol. I've been trying to do the dailies and I equipped the captains and ships to make it go faster but it's just taking so damn long, it's ridiculous.
You as a great player, should know that in the right hands, the Borgougne (or however the f you spell it lol) is very lethal. Anyone who knows how to play properly knows it is a great boat

I've played Legends since 2019, back when Jean Bart was still in Campaign. Here's my Hot take lol. Großer Kürfurst is absolutely not AWFUL, but there are better choices like Peek said. GK kinda has a weird situation. It feels like a slight downgrade compared to Buffmarck and the Friedrich. Yes, more guns that hit hard, but the dispersion is a bit more trolly, like with other German BBs that have 3 Barrels per turret (Looking at you, Scharnhorst). By Battle Impact, I think it has to do with Kürfurst's playmaking ability. It can snipe with Yamato, can Brawl with the Russians, and even Dodge torps (with some help with Sonar). GK is a great all rounded ship, but it doesn't excel in particular playstyles, like Yamato or Conqueror. If you decide to skip on GK, Doesn't bother me a bit. Like Peek said, anyone can have a great game in any ship. Personally, I love it to death, GK can be a blast, but it's overdue for some balance in the Dev department. Buff the accuracy, and maybe SLIGHTLY better gun angles, and GK will SOAR in popularity, trust me.
Yes kurfust can be very nasty but its obsolete , i dont care about the secondaries , i want a sonar that last longer and spot torps earlier , than maybe some less lifepoints on the suoerstructure
Absolutely, i will get it in 2 weeks and i will put hipperbon it, orbi'll buy hide, i no longer see secondaries as good as i sawed them, i play since 2021 and after a break i started playng again in the 2023 christmas season.
My first bureau is the yamato, aboupt half way through right now. Im glad its the best didnt know that. I just wanted it because its a freakij meme of a ship
The only thing you didn’t touch on with the DDs is the klebers concealment and speed. It can get up to like 65-70kts with the right commander build and gets a concealment of like 4-4.5km when you engine boost.

@mikemyon3570 she's hands down my favorite legendary so far. I have a feeling gearing will take that spot in about 3 weeks lol but as it stands, Alaska is my go to. Her damage output is INSANE with AP. There's nothing quite like hitting multiple citidels on a yammy in a freaking cruiser 🤣🤣🙌 enjoy!

Good stuff. I have all of the early ones - Worc, Des M, Khaba and Minotaur remain strong personal favorites. Given up on the Bureau now. WG's greedy roadblocking, so that one can only progress via having *extremely specific* high-end ships has left me cold. No Research Points, no alternatives whatsoever.
Worcester has 1/5 (30mm) HE pen not 1/4, so you can pen most cruisers but not battleships unless you take eop. Also secondary Kurfurst is inferior to sniper Kurfurst in all aspects.
Thanks I have been playing wow legends for about 5 years now. I so enjoy your presentations I am not a destroyer player because I am in inept. You have to be good at DD The only thing I disagree with you about it I think Montana is a beast I always run AP with it and I kill everything. Also the Conquer is a great ship. If it had torps it would be the best Battleship in WoW legends. Just my opinion

Forgot to mention that the Advanced Research ships require you to play a specific ship at one point in order to continue. Burn a lot of research or money just to finish. WG, wtf! I don't want the Jutland just to get Daring. Already have the gearing.
I don't like the midway torps are so SO SLOW 40kn, shimakaze is faster. Midway si a ship that kills bbs but kan not kill a good dd player, but most shimas kant tell left from right so midway is stil a good ship.

LT destroyers are all good Cruiser i agree Alaska and Stalingrad are good but situational while Worcester and mino are Always good. Dont know about colbert and napoli but i think they are very good aswell ,just not as impactful as W/M. Kinda agree with the battleships. I still need to test Bourgogne, it may be pretty good but hard to play it, i love my kurfust , i rarely die on it but its impact in matches is very low. Best thing you can do is being focused by the enemy and tank hoping your teamates will take advantage of that
got the hakuryu and honestly i'm not interested in midway. my job in a carrier isn't to chunk massive amounts of dmg from thered team, it's first and foremost to provide spots for my team and haku is way better that way. spot a dd that run behind said 3 bbs? no worries, get in there and keep him lit up, get back to carroer to grab another squad and locate the dd again. not possible with the midway

I understand why you don't like Khab she's one of my personal favs but she's very much and aquired taste that thing isn't a DD she's a really light cruiser without a citadel your whole goal in that thing is to harras and be a nuisiance not to hunt DDs or cap objectives which does effectively mean you're down a DD at the start of the game

In today's world of hi-tech Anti-Ship ballistic missiles, like the Chinese DF-21D - operational range (1700 km's) that can sink any carrier in the world with a single hit. All Navies without the ability to stop these missiles are completely obsolete today. Russia's Zircon Anti-Ship missile though inferior in way of operational range-400kms it can be fired from Aircraft, Subs, and Ships making it deadly to any carrier in the world. Russia also has the Brahmos and the P-800 Oniks Anti-Ship missiles. We know the USA hasn't got a destroyer that can defend against these missiles today? Making the USA's Navy obsolete in today's world. Let's look at the distances the US jets can travel? It's about 500-650 (max) km's out - and the same back again = 1300 km's range. So how can the US deploy any carrier close enough to reach any inland target, and then get back again? They can't, anywhere inside 1700 km's they're sunk, they're toast, they're history. This is also why when looking up the GPS positioning of any US carriers in the South China Sea, will never see them closer than 2000 km's from Chinas mainland. The USA has no capability to attack any militarily capable country who have these modern hi-tech Anti-Ship ballistic missiles in their defensive armoury. These are the real facts today, because If the risk outweighs any potential reward, gain, or result = obsolete. The USA has nothing that can stop those missiles today, and China's DF-21D is a carrier killer. I feel like khabavarosk is a great ship that does the opposite of what it’s class expects it to do.

@mikemyon3570 she's hands down my favorite legendary so far. I have a feeling gearing will take that spot in about 3 weeks lol but as it stands, Alaska is my go to. Her damage output is INSANE with AP. There's nothing quite like hitting multiple citidels on a yammy in a freaking cruiser 🤣🤣🙌 enjoy!

Shima comes with a Elmo horn and a helmet. Its the number 1 ship dead within the first 2-3 minutes of the game

Given up on the Bureau now. WG's greedy roadblocking, so that one can only progress via having *extremely specific* high-end ships has left me cold. No Research Points, no alternatives whatsoever.

Worcester has 1/5 (30mm) HE pen not 1/4, so you can pen most cruisers but not battleships unless you take eop. Also secondary Kurfurst is inferior to sniper Kurfurst in all aspects.

I always run AP with it and I kill everything. Also the Conquer is a great ship. If it had torps it would be the best Battleship in WoW legends. Just my opinion

Forgot to mention that the Advanced Research ships require you to play a specific ship at one point in order to continue. Burn a lot of research or money just to finish. WG, wtf! I don't want the Jutland just to get Daring. Already have the gearing.
You don't need the t8 to finish. Just the t6 and t7. Still not cheap though.

I don't like the midway torps are so SO SLOW 40kn, shimakaze is faster. Midway si a ship that kills bbs but kan not kill a good dd player, but most shimas kant tell left from right so midway is stil a good ship.

I still need to test Bourgogne, it may be pretty good but hard to play it, i love my kurfust , i rarely die on it but its impact in matches is very low. Best thing you can do is being focused by the enemy and tank hoping your teamates will take advantage of that
got the hakuryu and honestly i'm not interested in midway. my job in a carrier isn't to chunk massive amounts of dmg from thered team, it's first and foremost to provide spots for my team and haku is way better that way. spot a dd that run behind said 3 bbs? no worries, get in there and keep him lit up, get back to carroer to grab another squad and locate the dd again. not possible with the midway

I understand why you don't like Khab she's one of my personal favs but she's very much and aquired taste that thing isn't a DD she's a really light cruiser without a citadel your whole goal in that thing is to harras and be a nuisiance not to hunt DDs or cap objectives which does effectively mean you're down a DD at the start of the game

In today's world of hi-tech Anti-Ship ballistic missiles, like the Chinese DF-21D - operational range (1700 km's) that can sink any carrier in the world with a single hit. All Navies without the ability to stop these missiles are completely obsolete today. Russia's Zircon Anti-Ship missile though inferior in way of operational range-400kms it can be fired from Aircraft, Subs, and Ships making it deadly to any carrier in the world. Russia also has the Brahmos and the P-800 Oniks Anti-Ship missiles.
We know the USA hasn't got a destroyer that can defend against these missiles today? Making the USA's Navy obsolete in today's world. Let's look at the distances the US jets can travel? It's about 500-650 (max) km's out - and the same back again = 1300 km's range. So how can the US deploy any carrier close enough to reach any inland target, and then get back again? They can't, anywhere inside 1700 km's they're sunk, they're toast, they're history. This is also why when looking up the GPS positioning of any US carriers in the South China Sea, will never see them closer than 2000 km's from Chinas mainland.
The USA has no capability to attack any militarily capable country who have these modern hi-tech Anti-Ship ballistic missiles in their defensive armoury.
