Ive never seen the singer before, like the actual Chelly on stage. or is she just a pre production vocalist for the final cut, or a ghost writer or maybe she's using Inori as a mascot for marketing Like when they have Saki as the vocalist for Hatsune Miku then later Nightcore her voice. I dunno much about vocaloid honestly.
I wonder why onstage Chelly is represented by a hologram of an anime character resembling Inori Yuzuriha instead of Chelly physically performing on stage? Is Chelly a vocaloid created by Supercell member Ryo?

Ryo is more of a composer/producer. He work with many other including supercell and Egoist. As to why Chelly use an avatar, Egoist is a virtual band in the first place, kinda like Gorilazz, so you can say that Chelly is a Virtual Singer (a singer that use virtual/anime-esque avatar). This style of performace is quite common in Japan in these past few years since Kizuna AI kickstart the whole vtuber trend.

But in a majority of other like Love Live, instead of holograms of the anime characters at live performances, the voice actors/singers dress up as their character and perform live in person. I know for Essemble Stars live concerts, they use the holograms. I think it started with the Hatsume Miku concerts. I assume Chelly is probably backstage controlling and voicing the holographic avatar like a puppet (similar to a couple of Disney Park attractions).
some singer is really either shy/any other reason, the singer i know who always keep their face secret is ClariS and Aimer they just decided to show their face on this few years ago i think chelly just need time
Being a singer celeb garners a lot of expectation and a strict image to maintain, especially in Japan. If you showed your face, you'd have your actions restricted heavily in public, and your personal life would (in the worst cases) be negatively impacted in many ways, including things like dating/marriage being NG, being bombarded with fans and critics alike, paparazzi, etc. This is amplified when you're basically equals with everyone else in an extremely successful group like Supercell, where if you mess up they can replace you instantly, and if what you do on your own time drags down the company name, they'll drop you in a heartbeat. Having a huge success with Supercell/Egoist means people will approach you for things not even related to you, like asking how Ryo's doing, Supercell's plans, etc. Having this "mask" allows Chelly to just be herself and not have a care what other thinks when she's offstage and living life.
