Absolutely. Especially if it's carpeted. I have a demo of the GX1600 on my channel as well. Check it out to be certain. I think its an awesome head.

@@BeersnGearsOfficial hey !! Just to update you, I frickin love the gx1600, so gnarly and angry sounding !! I love it so much, I ended up buying another version of the head (this time was the gx600 that I bought from reverb) and hopefully will have both together !! By the way quick question , what’s the difference between the gx and the xl series? I see crate g600xl floating around more than the gx600. Are they better or a reissue of the amp? Just curious 🤔
From what I've seen, and read, they're the same circuits. GX came out later. So, I have a GX130c from '95 and a G130c XL from '92, and they're absolutely identical.
@@BeersnGearsOfficial oh I see, very interesting !! Haven’t grown up with crates (since I was born in 05’) but I guess I need to learn a bit more on them !! I’m still looking for the GX130c and stealth 100 amps to finish my high end crate collections !!
