Exellent work...well done. Greetings from South Africa
Thank you, welcome and thanks for watching!
This came out EXCELLENT. Good call by the owner on leaving the wood also.
Thank you very much. Ya he didn't want it to look too nice and new
Another beautiful restoration. Another gun that was built like a tank.
Thank you very much. Yes it was thanks for watching Mike
Технологичность конструкции вызывает уважение. Хорошая работа.
Thank you I appreciate that
What do I know about the new guns? They're all equipped/supposed to come with sensory plates. So that way, the new guns can sense who the owner is. And that's what makes them different. That's how I can tell that the times have changed.
Nice Job!!! Make sure to turn the gun upside down with the muzzle pointed to the floor after spraying the Rem-Oil into the receiver. You don't want the wood stock to absorb any of the oil. It will weaken the stock and make it brittle.
Thanks for the tip and for watching!
Love how original you leave the guns as I thinks that's how they should be
Thank you very much, we appreciate it

In 1957 on my tenth birthday I got a Mod. 37 Win. youth mod. in 20 gauge hunted with it for many years. My Dad found 2 more and gave one each to my sons on their 10th birthdays!!
Very cool, that's awesome, we love hearing about the memories. Thanks for watching

That came out really nice. I have one in 16 gauge that’s accounted for a couple of pheasants.
Thank you we appreciate it! I bet, thanks for watching
I own a Model 37 of late 1959/early 1960 vintage. It was a gift from my father and my grandfather on my 10th birthday. It is in similar shape to the gun in this video, with very heavy surface rust throughout. Thanks to your video, I think I’ll give refinishing it a shot. Thanks.
Very cool. We are happy it helps! Good luck with yours and thanks for watching!
Wow great job on the restoration came out really well

You'll have to watch videos and do research. Thanks for watching
Very nice work
Thank you very much
You Can tell it was built during the war, the thin trigger guard & hollow break lever were to save Precious Steel. I had a mod 37 Savage O/U and everything was thicker on it. Good job on the restoration "Sir" I put my part's in the oven before blueing them..( bluing always work's better hot) unless you don't have a choice.
Oh yeah for sure. Thank you very much, I have been using a blow torch to heat the metal for bluing, thanks for watching
Old is gold.
Yup, thanks for watching
Spot on, just like the shot at the end
Thank you very much, we appreciate you
That's the same firearm I learned to hunt with. For my 14th birthday I got a model 21
That's awesome, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Awesome Video! 👏👏
Thank you very much
🙋Great video👍, great shot 💪👏
Thank you very much!
There is something so elemental about a single shot ! Love them ! The memories of jumping bunnies out of bracken over a very senior curly coat girl and challenging multi shot armed mates ( and occasionally beating ! ) on the duck swamps with follow me under ! After a main center pin replacement ( mainly done just because I had a smith do a once over service ) it fired everything it was chambered for modern xs, old ,rusty and worst ! Dunk it in a swamp after a stumble...shake it and shoot ! 6 and a bit pounds ( recoil pad ) a snap to carry and point. A True Oil woodwork finish and VHT undercoat and matte black paint. Sold it 30 years ago but it will be filling the pot out there somewhere !😎👍
Absolutely, I appreciate the stories and info, thanks for supporting the channel we appreciate it
Very nice, well done.😊

Hard to beat the utility and value of hardware era shotguns and rifles as well as pistols
Absolutely, they are built well, thanks for watching
Lavoro di restauro tecnicamente molto ben fatto, con esperienza, perizia e pazienza. Peccato che la prova fuoco sia stata fiacca. Complimenti !
Thanks I appreciate it and thanks for watching
Not sure if the owner knows exactly what that is. It is more collectable than an a standard 37, this gun is probably a "Red Letter".
Very interesting, thanks for the info and for watching
its a red letter, a rare one at that , .410 , the hardest one to find .
@@MegaRiffraff I thought the 28ga was the rarest and most desirable followed by the 410.
@@jakeoutdoors9600 yea your right I forgot about the 28 . I went to a turkey shoot one time back in the early 70s with a friend of mine he had a red letter, and they wouldn’t let him use it , when he ask why , the man said it has a machined choke the length of the barrel, like the expensive British guns , I don’t know if that’s correct or not .
@@MegaRiffraff I don't know if that information is accurate or not. Personally I would have demanded to see the rule book that disqualified that gun. I would like to own a 37. I don't need one but for some reason people really like them.
Good work I like old guns and have a few gill guns and A 5 Browning . They were built to last .
Thank you, very nice guns, thanks for watching
Please tell us that was your 3rd shot. 😂😂😂 great job mate.
I believe so, i don't remember. Thanks for watching!
Admiro teu trabalho, quero comprar essa belezinha.
Thank you very much, it was a customer's. Thanks for watching
Another Great Vid ! I've Always had a fondness for older Single Shots, And Combe- Guns. Wich I wish Someone would Make again. Like the old Savage Rifle Shotgun Combos -- ( Also, Savage should Bring Back the 99 Lever Action- They made a big mistake Discontinueing so many Great Firearms )-
Thank you very much we appreciate it, ya they are all great guns for sure, thanks for watching
Sweet!!🍻👍
Thank you!
Oh man after what looked like gentle hands on that trigger housing ? screw I hope you felt accomplished when you put it back in during re-assembly :)
Thanks for all the great work sir. 🍻

Wow 1942 man can't believe it is the owner still alive that gun is old but a antique
The original owner probably isn't, thanks for watching!
Hey everyone the next restoration is going to be amazing. Modern handgun 🔫
Absolutely, "Can't Wait"!
Beautiful
Thanks
Lucky it was all there and in good condition
Yes, for sure. Thanks for watching!
Looks good and shoots good. You forgot one minor detail. That is a early model 37 and the Winchester logo on the underside of the receiver had red lettering. That's why they refer to this gun as the "red letter" 37 Winchester. Easy to do with some red paint or nail polish. Thanks for the video.
That is correct but not all of them were red letter shotguns this one was not so I’m not going to paint red paint on there trying to pass it off as a red letter when it was not thank you for watching and commenting, but I do not want to make things fake or portray something that’s not real or not legitimate and I’ll pass it off as something that it’s not a real one. Thanks for watching though

Sensacional essa cartucheira monotiros Wincherter, deve ser calibre 28?
It's a 410 gauge
I used to have Model 37 single barrel was a good turkey shoot gun., with a 32 inch barrel, it out shot every gun in the match, l left with turkeys and ham
Nice! Thanks for watching!

Excelente trabalho, é lindo vê uma pessoa com tamanha habilidade e destreza naquilo que faz, ficou como já disse um excelente trabalho de restauração. Poderia dizer qual líquido ( produto químico) usou na oxidação negra?
Thank you very much we appreciate it, its called vans cold bluing! Thanks for watching!
Hello. Thank you for this. Question … what are the fluid chemicals you’re using. There was a clear fluid that you put hardware components in after disassembly. Then there was a blue and clear fluids that it looked like you used to blacken the steel.
Thank you we appreciate it, evaporust works good to clean rust off. Brownells oxpho bluing solution to cold blue it! Thanks for watching
Another question 😮😮😮 I cannot for the life of me get the top pin connecting the hammer to the firing pin out. Your video skipped that step. Any recommendation?
I bet that one had sentimental value because it sure doesn't have a lot of monetary value.
Absolutely, it was a customer's!
exelent restoration!!! can you tell me, were can i get a but pad for that shotgun?, mine it´s lost

Back again ! It was a Harrington and Richardson 40's circa. 😎👍
No but I'm guessing you have one of those
@@TheKinzlerBros yeah just adding it to my main story. My gun ( after exposing the rust covered details was a H+R. Don't make them like that anymore ! Stay safe everyone. 😎👍
Here's another mid-modern day 12 gauge shotgun for you to look at. It's more of an early 1980s kind of 12 gauge shotgun.
It's a 410 but I hear you. Thanks for watching
@@TheKinzlerBros I'm really telling it to the people who subscribe to this adults educational channel. That's something about what's going on.
É a espingarda gauge mais bonita que já vi pena que pararam de fabricar!
Yeah they always stop making good stuff, it sucks but what are you gonna do, thanks for watching!
I’m doing a similar project with a Winchester 37 16ga. I am planning to boil and card the receiver and barrel. Is there any particular reason you blasted it and re-blued it or is that just your preference?
I just prefer to have a clean slate, thanks for watching
