I thought Michael West's take on this in his Scam of the week was interesting, that there is good money for the press and media involved to keep this mess of situation going so they can milk it for content but its also great the detail covered here as it later on when the dust settles, the publications can't just pretend its all over and they are fine now. There will be plenty of articles and videos with links to back claims that highlight how asinine the Australian mainstream media and judicial system has become and they need to be constantly reminded of it.
Especially newscorp who are trying to recoup 445k their lawyers signed off on when compensating Lehrmann for defo. Samantha Maidan has her knickers in a twist over being robbed of an award and then being made to look like a real goose by her bosses. If only they'd had better briefs!
And it's a good distraction, if they lose control of all this I think Bruce's health will give out. So can all be brought to a closer, the morality of our politicians is beyond me, remember the prayer room, and Willy Wrag.
So that's why this case never ends. This is the dumbest thing that has happened in this country since Kylie married Jason.

the question is how these staffers get cleared to NV1 and NV2 by the AGSVA in the first place. and then there is the issue of pollies who because of "inherited trust" also get clearance levels that they would never remotel;y get if they went through the normsl assessment process.
I'm sicki to death of politicians recruiting their staffers through the inside track and then we watch schitt shows like this unfold. If any suit or uniform, cleared to the same l;evel got on the pi$$ and then had bragging sessions about their day and what they'd seen etc... down at the local watering hole at dickson, manuka, kingston etc... they'd be breached and lose their clearance levels
its insulting enough when these nimrods end up in highly sensitive positions - let alone the schitt shows that follow on their alleged behaviour

I wondered how he was paying the utilities to that expensive property. The media had him in tasy on the dole, chopping wood.
If counsel for 7 knew they had a Jones v Dunkel problem before cross-examination he may well have a problem with the Bar Association.

Pet peeve of mine perhaps, but in my opinion that's possibly a red flag - I've seen people miss out on entry level positions because their resume didn't look professional enough, yet in this instance we're dealing with some relatively esteemed (steam cleaned?) positions

Single most defamed person in Australia and all the court cases and public money in the world can't change that. This has been a serious cause of injustice against the people of Australia and we want ALL to be exposed.
No but a Royal commission will get to the murky bottom of this, From the Accused to ACT policing and parliament itself, too many people involved not to.

@@ruprect8858 The case is being heard in a Federal court, there happens to be a string of related cases and inquiries that have questions hanging over them. of those questions quite a few are well within Federal jurisdiction.

Why would Lehrmann dignify Orbach's evidence with a rebuttal, when Orbach is so busy destroying his own credibility ? Apparently, a complaint has been made to police about Orbach, but perhaps you haven't heard that.
