For those training at home: Check yourself! Really put some effort in your posture, mechanics, and edge allignment. Even in the examples in this video, I fudged up the edge allignment once or twice 🙈
@@grillyalta Thanks! And actually this still works holding, for instance, a hammer, or a ruler, or even just hooking your right pinky to your left index finger, if you then focus extra on posture, mechanics, 'edge' allignment, etc :) Slowing the movement down can give a nice bit of extra burn when done as part of a warm up or workout :) Also, sword simulators like the Swing exist!
@@MauriceBooij you're quite right, already "downgraded" to a Langes Messer to spare the lamp :) actually what i like about drills like those is feeling the weight and livelyhood of the longsword. So practising in a slow manner without a "real" weapon somehow lacks the satisfaction for me, but sure gonna get to practise outside tomorrow - and then with plenty of space.
Any question with the word 'best' in it, is a dangerous one :P But I personally love the Sigis, and so far they seem to perform great in tournaments as well, as far as I can tell. So, I can't say whether or not they're the best, but I can say they're awesome and I prefer them :)
I don't know man, your movement looks weird to me. It looks unnatural and uncomfortable. Or probably it was just the sword was being too long to your body?

My ceiling and lamp at home don't like the exercise that much... ;-) but well made video!

@@grillyalta Outdoors works! And I completely get your point! That's why I like the SwinG :)
This is fantastic! But I think adding a view from the front could help to show the diagonals for edge alignment to make it even better
Excellent form, I always enjoy your stuff !
Thanks!
Thank you for this video and your work bro!
My pleasure! Hope it helps!
Would you recommend sigi as best choice for tournaments?

Am i the only one without a sigi? nice video!
Thanks! And it seems quality + nice aesthetics = good business concept 😄
The people at Sigi are doing something right.
I have a question. How many size the longsword?
@@michaelzajac5284 that's a standard Sigi: 135cm
@MauriceBooij
I will buy a wooden pole. Thanks for the message.
Nicd shoes! How can I get it?
The shoes are just regular Puma indoor sports shoes. Most regular sports shops will carry them, or similar models.
