can you connect the ptt to the car stereo bluetooth? I'd like to be able to playback thr XRS through my car stereo instead of through the handset because im usualy driving around in silence when out on the track with my mates
Do you have to use the wireless PTT & microphone to use the XRS-BT1? I've got a TX4500WS radio, alongside my XRS-330, so don't need that function. I do want to the ability to listen to UHF 40 through my Bluetooth Sony earphone, though, so my wife doesn't crucify me with all the bullshit truckies speak.
any chance these would work with an Icom IC-450?

Hi there, yes you can!
You can connect the XRS-BT1 to any Bluetooth audio device such as a car stereo.

No you don't. You can still use the PTT on your XRS microphone as normal.
